I'm not surprised to hear that at all, perhaps Evans will freshen things up at middleweight, seeing as he's already been at heavyweight.

If that's the case, he'd be better off going to Middleweight than Heavyweight. Then again, what happens if GSP comes to Middleweight and wins the title? Evans is gonna go up to Heavyweight?
Just stay at light heavyweight.

It would be great if Evans jumped down to Middleweight especially if GSP heads up to the Middleweight! GSP vs Silva, GSP vs Evans, Silva vs Evans. Those would be great fights!  |

when Rashad was at HW he wasn't fighting the best guys......and on top of that the HW division wasn't as deep as it is now. Rashad has been rocked in every fight since fighting Machida....I would hate to think what Carwin, Cain, or Dos Santos would do to him.

I can't see Rashad going back to HW, with the monsters there (Brock, Carwin, Cain...) so if he "refuses" to fight Jones  , MW seems like the only option... |

Lol at some people thinking he would fight GSP... He is moving DOWN because Jones is a teamate.. where does GSP fight out of....
I'm quite pleased for him, serves him right for not staying active. I don't think him moving down yet will be necessary however is Rampage wins he will be getting next title shot. I think Rashad would be in the mix at MW quicker again than if he stayed at LHW.

It shouldn't be up to Evans to decide if he's going to fight Jones. Why Dana allows this, I have no idea. Fighters should fight who they're told to fight - regardless if they're team-mates or not.

Why wouldn't Dana allow it. I can understand if it was for the best possible fight he should make them fight. Not as if there isn't a list of guys in LHW who could take Rashads spot. If a guy doesn't want to further his career let him.
