I dont get it either. Sting headlined a TNA PPV just over the summer with RVD that drew like 20,000 buys and now all of a sudden, everybody wants to see him and the WWE needs him for a big Wrestlemania match/buyrate? Sting has said that his shoulder has been bothering him for a while and doesnt want to wrestle if he doesnt feel 100%. Well, Sting in TNA = Wheres Sting now these days ? Sting in WWE = Sting vs Undertaker ?!!?! HOLY poop ! Well, you do have a point to a degree. It's odd how that nobody will watch TNA to see guys like Jeff Hardy, Sting, Kevin Nash, RVD or Hulk Hogan. But Kevin Nash comes back to the WWE and it's huge news and he gets the biggest pop of the night! Why didn't people care about him when he was in TNA? When he was in TNA people called him Big Lazy, a washed up old dude who should just retire.....but he comes back to WWE and now everybody loves him and wants him back full time! If Jeff Hardy, RVD or Hulk Hogan came back to WWE, it would be huge news and people would go CRAZY! But nobody will tune into TNA to see them? I guess we have to ask the question, why do the fans NOT care about or support these guys when they are in TNA? Why do the fans only care when a guy comes to or comes BACK to WWE? It is really odd how NOBODY cares when a guy is in TNA but EVERYBODY cares when that person is in WWE.

I'm sure I will be accused of splitting hairs, but Nash didn't come back the WWE. Diesel came back. Not once on TV or WWE.com has he been referred to as "Nash".

People here are so ridiculous. We have a message board full of people not old enough to have watched WCW, and the majority of people here don't watch TNA because they think it sucks. So why exactly does everybody want Sting so bad? I've seen Sting in his prime, and I've seen Sting in TNA. Honestly, except for the importance of his character and the nostalgia factor.....STING IS NOT THAT GOOD ANY MORE. Sting is not like Shawn Michaels who was tearing the house down and having the match of the year 3 years in a row before his retirement. I have no desire of seeing slow, broken down Sting vs. Slow, broken down Undertaker. You have to realize that in their current physical conditions, this match on paper looks to be the most boring thing EVER. And I'm glad it's not happening. Sting should just stay in TNA. He wouldn't come to WWE when he was still good and they wanted to push him. Why the hell would he come to WWE NOW to lose to The Undertaker? It makes no sense. Sting will NEVER wrestle for WWE. When his career is all said and done, he may show up for a Hall of Fame induction like so many guys who are in who never wrestled for WWE or had one short unsuccessful stint there.....but he will NEVER wrestle for WWE. And honestly, it would tarnish his career to wrestle for WWE. Well i've been watching sting since i was 8 and he's by far my favorite wrestler. When Vince bought WCW i was geeked to think that stinger would be there but it didnt happen. 10 years later Sting has become a world champ in a watered down version of WCW why not go to WWE to seal his career!! I always said in order for sting to be in the ranks of taker, hogan, and flair he would have to work for vince. The only wrestle vince wouldnt accept in the wwe is Double J because he screwed vince over when he went to wcw. Do yall kids honestly think Sting would be apart of a TNA that is the same as WCW in 2000 with Bishoff Jarrett and Russo tearing the company down?? Its like Bret Farve these past 3 years; IT'S SUPERBOWL OR BUST!! IT'S TIME FOR STING'S CAREER TO COME FULL CIRCLE AND GO TO THE WWE!! He doesn't have to wrestle i just want him to go to the Hall of Fame!! I wouldn't mind seeing him at Wrestlemaina (I have watch a ppv since WM21)!! But just to see him in the Hall would make me proud!! Speaking of which am i the only person hoping that macho man, LOD, Ultimate Warrior and BooKer T go into the hall this year?? And I hate Big Poppa Pump is back in TNA b/c i wanted the Steiner Bros to be in the Hall too!! If Bret Hart, who is just as old as sting could wrestle at maina why not sting?? I would've expect sting to show up in the wwe befor the hitman due to how personal bret and vince beef was!! Hogan wrestle at wrestlemaina in his twilight years so did ric flair and that danm old ass ricky steamboat!! All im saying is if sting is going to be at WM I WILL PAY TO SEE IT!!!

I don't know why people still think 2.21.11 could be Sting after the last promo.
Come on now, people were just looking to far into it. "Can I get a screen cap of Sting's boots?" "Look, there is a scorpion on the post!" The only thing I could see is how the ones kinda looked like baseball bats, but nothing else.

As much as people don't want to admit it, TNA just isn't a big deal AT ALL.
There's a difference in the crowd at Universal Studios of about a few thousand which the company has to paper the events to even get that many... when it's compared to the Royal Rumble PPV which SOLD OUT. Of course Nash would get a big reaction there. The people there actually cared enough to pay for their tickets (and good money at that) and WANT to be there. Not to mention that they're most likely life-long fans who've been watching forever.

Regardless of Stings current abilitys just the cross over factor is still going to draw. Hogan wasnt in great shape when he returned in 2002 but it didnt matter, the match with the Rock was actualy very entertaining but it didnt even need to be. The fact it was Rock Hogan alone made it special. Anyone saying Sting vs undertaker wouldnt be special is out the minds.

So, I take it you are one of the WWE fans that have their heard up so far up their own asses, they're to blind to anything that has to do with wrestling that goes beyond WWE. Kevin Nash didn't really matter in TNA. I love the watching the guy, he's entertaining, but he's not important anymore. There's no 'Wolf Pac' there's no NWO. There's no Shawn Michaels ladder match. However, Nash will make a great addition to the WCW DVD coming out.

I've watched TNA from the very beginning. Never said the product is bad. I just said that the company isn't a big deal, and that's the truth. They've had chance after chance to go to the next level and they just can't do it.

What's the matter, is Wrestlemania going to suck without Sting? Well.. HBK and Undertaker made the last two WM's. And i don't know what bigger name can you get close to great as HBK.....OH! I know ! ;D honestly now I think WWE is going to focus on everyone else at Mania instead of two people, if Sting were to Wrestle taker' at Mania it would be HORRIBLE Despite the atmosphere, their in ring styles wouldn't work well together it would be a crapshow.

STING vs UNDERTAKER is right up there with Hogan/Rock and Taker/Flair!! That was the best WM ever in my eyes!! Undertake vs Sting would be like Kurt Angle vs Bret Hart when both of the was in there prime!! STING ALONE WILL MAKE A WRESTLEMAINA MOMENT!!!!!!

I honestly wish everyone would shut up about Sting. It's rather annoying now.

Sting just walking down that aisle at WrestleMania is a moment. That match taking place would make the rest of the show meaningless.... So... Rock-Hogan or Hunter and Jericho How about... Taker-HBK or Hunter and Orton Okay, Taker-Sting or Cena-MizWhich one do you remember? lol The match could suck and nobody would still be able to follow it!

Yup. And everyone talks about " letdown". You know whats a letdown, when Taker faces HBK for two straight years and this year he faces Wade Barrett.

In all fairness, I remember Orton/Triple H because that match sucked so bad and the build up was so good. But I get what you are saying and largely agree. To get any real value out of Undertaker at Mania, he would have to face Nash, or Sting, or Triple H. I get why people want Sting but the 2.21.11 has gotten a little crazy at this point. I just want 2.21.11 to get here so the speculation can end for everyone.

No offense dude, people like YOU and Stone Cold (thank God he's gone now) are MAKING it dreadful by coming up with ridiculous theories that have no credibility. Two people in the cabin? Come on now dude. Speculation is fun, but wild, unfounded speculation is not.

Come on now dude. Speculation is fun, but wild, unfounded speculation is not. Actually, I recall him saying the two people thing was unfounded Honestly, I hope it is Sting, I really do, if just because it will be something different and "big". Will it be him? 99% chance... no, it won't be. Heck, the whole Sting thing has blown up to the point where WWE has had to pretty much say its 'Taker with the use of music (that way when it is 'Taker, fans aren't disappointed its his big return, again... and again... and again...) Either way, I will believe ZERO reports about Sting, in or out of WWE, until I see him standing in the ring or whatever. But at least let some people speculate, wild or not. Half the fun is fantasizing about what could be!
