To all the pro-ruthless/anti-deluxe: It has been posted on this site that the stores don't want to carry the ruthless legends line. Jakks are trying to change their mind, which is why they are putting one ruthless legend in their main singles line, but you lot seem to act like a bunch of ungrateful crybabies. Also Jakks has released one wave of the ruthless impact figures, I'm gessing the stores don't want them, as well as the deluxe, or they didn't sell well. Now this could be just my area, but I have gone to every walgreens in my area. There are 4. I saw Impact at all of them at one point and now they are all gone. I even saw them restock at a few of them and gone. As far as DI every store is still on series one or two except target who has some three, but it was the first set to show up at this target and now the have series one mixed in. So I'm not sure what happened with the distribution there.

Who the heck did they scan for Jesse Neal? Samoa Joe's still 500 lbs. and 7ft. tall? Crap. Well, at least Magnus got a nice head sculpt. So far it's the S.O.S. from Jakks. Too bad.

I wasn't impressed with the Jakks TNA showing at Toy Fair, because all they have shown were previously announced figures and figures of guys who I wouldn't buy because they are not anyone of interest. I was impressed however with the Jesse Neal figure but if I had a choice between that figure or the WWE Mattel or Playmates Luchador figures Mattel and playmate would win my dollar. Why is Jakks still displaying Sting and Nash? Both of of these guys will be getting better figures when Mattel produces them. I hope Jakks has more to display at Toy Fair than what was shown because so far I'm not impressed.

Not much new here, hopefully there are more shown before tor fair finishes. I'm disappointed that Joe is still taller then Abyss. Thank you for having some intelligence and common sense. I love the crude drawing and think that is a fairly simple solution to the scale issue. Costs are pretty minimal as well. And yes....RA is dead. Let it ing go. Just look at the LOTR series, outside of Sting and Hogan, they sit and rot and rot. And hell.....I am even seeing Sting and Hogan rotting there as well. Main stream doesnt want RA. And the only reason so many people on WFigs wants RA is b/c thats where they started their collections. If DA had come out first, people would be clamoring for that.

....and to think what JAKKS used to produce. Sad, really to look at these.
They have such potential, but refuse to produce it.

I clamor for RA style because I think the DA style looks goofy. I will admit that part of it is I have a RA collection started, but not the only reason. I had BCAs and went to TTL because I felt it was an improvement, then to R3 because it had more scale, then to RA because I liked how it looked. So all signs point to me going to the DA style but I didn't like how it looked. if I could still get cheap RA figures I'd buy them and get DA figs for the heads. My big reason for wanting more RI TNA figs is to go with my RA WWE collection. That was the whole reason I excited that jakks picked up the license.

I quit collecting during BCA and didn't start again until after DA were already out. And I hate the way they look so I went with RA. And now that I have ~400 figures, I want to continue with the same style.

I would have stopped collecting if the DA style came out first. I don't buy DA figures and I don't buy any Mattel figures because I don't like they way they look. Overall, this is a pretty disappointing showing for Jakks. No new RA line or new Legends = instant pass for me.

I don't like any of the RA/RI/Basic figures simply because they don't offer enough posability to me. But to one who doesn't care about that, then I can understand why they'd like the regular style.
On topic, I was not at all impressed with this line up. It could be because I don't watch TNA and am not really familiar with most of the people, but nothing they showed really screamed "buy me!" except for the Madison figure. And seeing how ridiculously slow Jakks is to put these figures out, any initial excitement is swiftly quelled by the long wait.

Even as a major Jakks mark I gotta say that Mattel is currently gang raping the heck out of Jakks. Jakks barely has 4 new prototypes shown while Mattel has new figures, belts, and rings shown.

Only those under contract in TNA who have been in NWA will have their attires made. Same goes for NWJP (I think that was the Legends Hogan attire).

Just looks like Jakks doesn't have the stroke to secure teh shelf space at retail with out the established name of WWE. When they lost the WWE license they lost their ability to maintain valuable competitive shelf space at retail. Unfortunately this seems to be the death of them.
