Cameron Stone SWA Ready to Start - Rebook the 2011 Royal Rumble
By: Cameron Stone
The road to the 2011 Royal Rumble started at December's Tables, Ladder's and Chair's pay per view event. At this event, Edge became the new World Heavyweight Champion by defeating Kane, Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio in a TLC Match. Also, Dolph Ziggler retained his Intercontinental Championship, Natalya and Beth Phoenix defeated Laycool, The Miz defeated Randy Orton to keep the WWE Championship, John Morrison defeated Sheamus in a ladder match to become the number one contender to the WWE Title, and John Cena defeated Wade Barrett in a chair's match, getting a measure of revenge for the months of hardship.
From here, things intensified as dreams of main eventing Wrestlemania began to dance in the heads of all the WWE superstars. John Morrison elected to use his championship opportunity to face former tag team partner The Miz at the Royal Rumble, and because of that, Randy Orton wasn't able to continue going after Miz. Despite defeating Barrett at TLC, John Cena hadn't seen the end of Nexus, as the group continued to attack him, and one week, Randy Orton had finally had enough and came to Cena's aid, fighting off the attack, and taking out both Husky Harris and Michael McGilliguty with punts to the skull in the process. The anonymous RAW General Manager then offered Cena and Orton a match for the Royal Rumble, pitting John Cena and Randy Orton versus Barrett, Gabriel, Slater and Otunga. If Cena and Orton win, the Nexus must permanently disband, but if the Nexus win, both Orton and Cena would be out of the Royal Rumble. Cena and Orton accepted the match, unable to pass on the chance to end Nexus once and for all.
On the Smackdown side of things, Kane decided to use his rematch clause to face Edge one more time at the Royal Rumble, this time in a Last Man Standing Match. The two took it in turns to attack one another week after week, and with nothing standing in their way at the Royal Rumble, things should get intense.
After Natalya and Beth Phoenix defeated Laycool, Beth made her desire for a title shot known, and Natalya was happy to oblige, and the two would lock horns at the Royal Rumble, two of the WWE's most capable Diva's battling to see who the best is.
And as a crossover between the two brands, the much sought after #30 Spot in the Royal Rumble was decided, with each brand having a chance. All confirmed superstars in the Rumble participated in a Battle Royal on RAW, and it would be Alberto Del Rio who won the much sought after spot, as his personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez distracted Daniel Bryan, allowed Del Rio to throw him over and claim victory.
And now, the WWE Universe was ready for one of the most exciting, unpredictable pay per view events of the year, the 2011 Royal Rumble!
The 2011 Royal Rumble began with the handicap tag team match pitting John Cena and Randy Orton against The Nexus. Stakes were high, as a loss to the Nexus would mean they must disband, and a victory for them meant that John Cena and Randy Orton would no longer be allowed to compete in the Royal Rumble Match. The beginning was all Nexus, as they used the numbers game to make frequent tags and stay fresh. But soon, Cena and Orton made their comeback, and all but the Nexus leader Wade Barrett were dumped to the outside, with Orton going out to keep them from getting going again. Cena was about to end it, but as the referee looked on to see what was going on outside the ring, he hit Cena with a low blow and rolled him up. The referee counted the shocking three, and Cena and Orton were stunned, as was the crowd, as two of the heavy favorites to win the Rumble were no longer in it. After the loss, the Anonymous RAW GM chimed in to say if Orton or Cena interfered in the Rumble Match to try to attack any member of Nexus, they would be suspended until after Wrestlemania.
Next up was the Divas Championship match, and it was easily one of the best Diva's matches in the last few years in the WWE, as both Beth and Natalya were very good workers. They went all out for about ten minutes, with Beth using her power and Natalya using her technique to counter it. Eventually Natalya managed to win with the Sharpshooter.
Now it was onto the WWE Championship match between The Miz and John Morrison. Early on, Alex Riley continued to get involved, and the referee had to eject him from ringside. Now with an even playing field, it wasn't such an easy ride for the Miz, as these two put on a terrific bout, that ended with Miz avoiding starship pain, and hitting the skull crushing finale.
Lastly before the Royal Rumble, it was the Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship pitting Edge against Kane. This match was pretty good for PG WWE standards, with the two brawling around the ringside area. Edge would get chokeslammed through a table, but managed to get up, and he managed to do the unthinkable and put Kane down for a ten count after throwing him off the stage.
And now, the 2011 Royal Rumble!
Match Summary: The rumble opened with a very unhappy Sheamus as the #1 entrant. The unhappiness turned to shock when #2 was the returning Triple H. The Game wasted no time, running into the ring and the two traded punches before brawling to the ropes. Their momentum flipped both of them over the top to the floor, where they continued their brawl through the crowd and out of the arena. Santino then came in, and started parading around, motioning that he would eliminate the rest one at a time to claim victory. The next entrant, however, was none other than the returning Great Khali, who immediately threw Santino over. Next up was the still hurting Kane. Khali and Kane fought, neither able to eliminate the other, and then, Ziggler came in, and the match continued. Heath Slater and David Otunga were the next two out, and they wasted no time, using teamwork to eliminate both Kane and Khali. McIntyre entered, and him and Ziggler tried to fight off the two Nexus members, but were unable to overcome a third member as Justin Gabriel entered, and it became a three on two beatdown. But then came a surprise entrant in The Sandman! He entered through the crowd, Singapore cane in hand, and rushed into the ring, and began leveling the Nexus with cane shots, but Gabriel eventually managed to throw him out. Then in came Rey Mysterio. The Nexus swarmed him at first, but Ziggler and McIntyre got back into it, allowing Mysterio to eliminate Otunga. Ziggler then turned on McIntyre, throwing him out, only to be eliminated himself by Gabriel and Slater. Daniel Bryan now entered the match, and it was fought like a tag bout here, with him and Rey going after Nexus. CM Punk, Kozlov, Big Show, Jack Swagger and DH Smith all made their way into the match. Nexus would eliminate Smith and Kozlov, and Big Show eliminated Swagger. Then in came big Ezekial Jackson, who fully lifted up Show and tossed him out like trash. Jackson taunted a bit too much though, allowing Slater and Gabriel to come up behind him and lift him out of the ring. William Regal and Zack Ryder were the next couple in, though they did not last long, as they were eliminated by Mysterio and Bryan respectively. The two Nexus members would finally be eliminated, with Mysterio and Bryan each throwing one of them out, but both left with the most eliminations in the match, Slater having eliminated 6 and Gabriel with 5. John Morrison, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston all made their way in as we neared the tail end of entrants. R-Truth was eliminated by Punk, and then entered a returning Christian, who eliminated Kingston. Cody Rhodes entered and a spray of quick eliminations happened, with Morrison throwing Rhodes out immediately, only to be eliminated by Punk, who was in turn eliminated by Christian, leaving left Christian, Mysterio and Bryan. Then, in came the Nexus leader Wade Barrett, who took down everyone upon entering, and looked unstoppable. But a returning Evan Bourne got in before Barrett could eliminate anyone. Ted Dibiase and Alberto Del Rio would both get in, and there were now no more new entrants! Del Rio however, was too cocky and was more focused on attacking Mysterio than on the match, and was an easy elimination for Barrett, who just seconds before had also eliminated Dibiase. Daniel Bryan eliminated Bourne, and then him and Mysterio were both taken out by Barrett, leaving Wade Barrett and Christian as the final two. They fought for a while, before Barrett backed Christian into a corner. Barrett tried to lift him out, but Christian snapped a kick into Barrett's face, stunning him. Christian then pulled Barrett over the ropes to win the Royal Rumble!

Edge def. Rey Mysterio, Kane, Drew McIntyre, Big Show and Wade Barrett in an Elimination Chamber Match to retain the World Heavyweight ChampionshipJosh Matthews is backstage.Josh Matthews: As you all know last week on Monday Night RAW, R-Truth defeated Sheamus in singles action; however, after the match Sheamus delivered a brutal attack on R-Truth, injury his right bicep with the help from the ringpost and steel chairs before ultimately finishing off R-Truth with the High Cross through the RAW Announce table. As a result of these events R-Truth has been forced to abandon his spot in the Chamber tonight, his replacement has yet to be named. So this brings me to my guest at this time, ladies and gentleman, please welcome, Sheamus. Sheamus what are your thoughts on R-Truth being pulled from the match, any regrets? Sheamus: Ya’ know what Josh, I don’t regret anything. I sent a message to everyone that’s in the RAW Elimination Chamber tonight to stay outta my way and if they don’t they’re either stupid or they’ve got a death wish. They’ve seen what I’m capable of without a cage around me, retiring Triple H, putting R-Truth on the shelf so now that I’m inside the Elimination Chamber, I don’t care who you are, John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, John Morrison, It doesn’t matter. I’m not scared of any man and I guarantee, fella, that I will walk out of the Elimination Chamber with a WWE Title shot at the Grandest Stage of ‘em all. Sheamus walks off, now pumped for his match. Josh Matthews: Thanks for your time, Sheamus. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater def. Santino Marella and Vladamir Kozlov to win the WWE Tag Team Championships
The Miz def. Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler to retain the WWE ChampionshipRAW Elimination Chamber Match for a Shot at the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 27Randy Orton is out first to a decent pop, followed by CM Punk, then John Morrison and finally Sheamus, as he enters the last unoccupied pod. John Cena arrives next; he’ll start the match against a Mystery Participant. Cena performs his usual entrance routine before a long pause and period of anticipation. Then Finally...’ TIME TO PLAY THE GAME’. Everyone in the arena, including the other five chamber combatants are shocked and Sheamus goes red in the face before snapping into a different state, gritting his teeth and punching the lexan furiously. Triple H gets into the chamber and spurts out water in front of Sheamus’ pod infuriating the Celtic warrior even more so. The match begins as Triple H and John Cena lock up, Cena is whipped into the ropes by Triple H and nailed with a High Knee. Triple H picks Cena back up and whips him into the corner for a bodysplash but Cena moves and Trip’s tastes ringpost. Cena grabs The Game and throws him over the ropes to the outside, flesh meeting steel. Cena attempts to throw Trips into the cage wall, however, the Game grabs hold of the chains and elbows John in the gut before throwing him at Sheamus’ pod. Cena counters the move and stops right before the glass, turning around to deliver a hip toss on the grate. Cena rolls Triple H back into the ring and Triple H gets back to his feet. John Cena nails a punch or two but Triple H counters, grasping the arm and delivering countless punches of his own until Cena falls back into the corner. HHH stomps on Cena twice before elevating him to the top rope. Triple H also ascends and delivers a superplex; Triple H continues to lead the match for a couple more minutes before John Cena makes a short comeback with a fisherman suplex for a two count. John Cena lifts Trips for the Attitude Adjustment just as the clock runs out. CM Punk enters and waits on the outside of the ring, ready to pounce. Triple H fights out of the AA and sends Cena over the top rope just to turn around into a springboard clothesline from CM Punk who quickly lifts The Game back up into the corner to lay into him with kicks to the sternum. Cena is up now and tries to stop Punk but CM is aware and drills Cena with a kick to the skull. Trips is down as Punk head to the outside to send Cena into the steel walls not once but twice before connecting with a backdrop on the steel. Punk proceeded to lay into Cena for the next minute until HHH came around and sent Punk through the lexan of, ironically, the pod he came out of with a stunning Spinebuster variation. The crowd began to chant ‘Holy Chocolate Shark’ after Punk crashed, which gave him a minor cut on his lower back. Cena fought with Triple H on the outside, trading blows before Cena ducked and took down Triple H with a flying shoulder tackle. Triple H began to get to his feet as the clock counted down to zero once more. John Morrison was the next to enter and without hesitation he left his pod, scaled the chamber and stood on top of the pod he came out with, Triple H and John Cena fighting below. The Game and Cena turned to face Morrison as Morrison flew through the air down onto Triple H and Cena with a crossbody, all of this occurring on the outside of the ring. Morrison couldn’t get the three though. CM Punk had rolled back into the ring and Morrison met him there, slingshotting over the ropes for a splash variation but only garnering a two count. Morrison lifted Punk to his feet attempting what seemed like a Moonlight Drive only for Punk to counter out into an armdrag. Triple H assaulted CM Punk from behind spinning him around for a spinebuster proceeding to hit John Morrison with a Pedigree after ducking a forearm from the Prince of Parkour. Morrison swiftly rolled away from the danger though. John Cena quickly took control, tripping the Game to lock in an STF but Triple H rolled out of it before connecting with another knee to the head of Cena. The countdown started again and Trips climbed to the outside, hoping for Sheamus’ entrance into the match. It was Sheamus’ turn and the pod door opened. Sheamus went straight after Triple H with a slap right to the face but The Game was having none of it and threw Sheamus straight into the Chamber wall again and again before throwing The Celtic Warrior head first into the ringpost. Triple H threw Sheamus over the ropes and into the ring. Sheamus’ ducked a clothesline, and threw the Game into a ringpost before setting up for the Brogue Kick. Triple H sensed it was coming, however, and caught Sheamus’ fought reversing the kick into a Spinebuster. Sheamus was looking for safety and rolled to the outside hoping Trips would switch his target, but he didn’t and Sheamus was thrown into the cage wall once more before ultimately taking a Pedigree on the steel for the three count. Sheamus was eliminated and left the chamber. On the other side of the chamber Punk attempted to throw Morrison into the wall but John Morrison used his parkour style to counter and cling onto the cage before throwing himself off to nail CM Punk with a Chuck Kick. Cena and Triple H began to slug it out again before Randy Orton entered as the last entrant into the Chamber. Randy Orton took down John Cena, Triple H and John Morrison one by one with clotheslines and then a scoop slam to John Morrison. Then Randy met CM Punk who tried to run by scaling the chamber walls and hiding on top of a pod. Randy ascended to the top rope though and met his foe with punches to the skull. Punk tried to leave but his fought was caught in the pod’s roof. Cena took advantage of the opportunity and nailed Orton with a backdrop from the top rope. Punk was relieved but not for long as Triple H made his way into the pod Punk was on top of and yanked Punk’s leg through the chain, causing damage. Triple H wasn’t aware of whom was behind him though as he turned around straight into a Nitro Blast from John Morrison. Morrison could only find himself a two count. The remaining five men fought ferociously for another five minutes before anything else happened. Punk finally got down from the pod, and stalked Orton as he delivered an RKO to John Morrison. Randy Orton went to cover Morrison but CM Punk attacked and kicked Orton hard in the skull, déjà vu from when Orton kicked Punk in the skull back in 2008 costing CM Punk to World Heavyweight Championship. CM Punk covered Orton to get the three count. Triple H took this opportunity to nail Punk with a knee drop and powerbomb him onto the steel grate, on the outside of the ring. Morrison snuck up from behind, tripping the game before connecting with a stiff knee to the face. Morrison set up for Starship Pain but it was not to be as The Game moved away at the last second. John Cena tried to capitalize with an Attitude Adjustment, only for Morrison to land on his feet and take Cena down with a forearm. Morrison ascended to the top of a pod with dangerous ambitions; however, Cena was up and climbed to the top rope. Morrison kicked Cena but his foot was caught and Cena pulled Morrison onto his shoulders to deliver a top rope Attitude Adjustment. Triple H covered Morrison to eliminate him. Triple H ran over to John Cena who was still standing on the top rope and pushed him onto the outside. CM Punk kicked Triple H in the back of the head and hoisted him up for the GTS but Triple H fought out and whipped Punk in the corner to deliver countless punches to the head. As Morrison was leaving the Chamber, Sheamus hobbled down the ramp and into the chamber. Triple H turned around and was met with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus then hosted Triple H up and onto his back, connecting with the High Cross to the Steel on the Outside. CM Punk clambered over to cover Triple H and eliminate him. Sheamus smirked and left the chamber as staff helped Triple H out. CM Punk and John Cena now remained. Punk countered Leg Drop and lifted Cena up for the GTS but Cena caught Punk’s leg on the way down, flipped him over and locked in the STF. It wasn’t long before CM Punk was gasping for air and was forced to tap. WINNER: JOHN CENAJohn Cena celebrated his hard fought victory after many twist and turns. Cena would now face The Miz for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania but what was to come next in the long and winding rivalry of Triple H and Sheamus that was just taken to another level. End. Shifty From the imagination of Shifty!...THE GAME BEGINS AGAIN.November 29th, 2010 - The WWE hosts the nineteenth King of the Ring tournament. It was a night set up the week before, with the cream of WWE's crop of young talent qualifying for the WWE's most iconic tournament. Monday Night RAW represented by United States Champion Daniel Bryan, the 'Guayanese' Goliath Ezekiel Jackson, the 'Guru of Greatness' John Morrison and the 'Celtic Warrior' Sheamus. Friday Night SmackDown! sent several worthy contenders also, with the rising star Alberto Del Rio, 'Dashing' Cody Rhodes, the 'Chosen One' Drew McIntyre, and the 'Dreadlocked Dynamo' Kofi Kingston all qualifying for the prestigious tournament. After a night of on the edge of your seat action, the only former WWE Champion in the tournament, Sheamus, defeated his rival John Morrison to take the crown, and the right to call himself the King of the WWE Universe. While all the WWE was watching this live in the arena, and on television screens all around the world, there was one man who helped shaped the WWE Universe into what it is today watching, watching closer than anyone else, knowing the danger of what he was about to embark on. The man had not been seen on WWE programming for over seven months, but in the words heard so many times in his entrance music over the years, the man sent a message. He warned Sheamus that very soon it would be time to play 'The Game' once more! 2010 wound down, and 2011 began, with the Celtic Warrior and King of the WWE Universe Sheamus unfortunately (for him) falling short in many of his contests following the King of the Ring win. The commentators said that the man heard at the end of the King of the Ring show could well have got into Sheamus' head with the words he said following the career changing victory. There was a small hint of hope in Jerry Lawler's voice in particular, as he had never been fan of Sheamus, that this man was the one they once called 'The Cerebral Assasin'. That nickname could be much more appropriate for him now if what Lawler said is true, and he had gotten into the head of the 'Celtic Warrior'. The Road to Wrestlemania began to approach, with the start of the road, the Royal Rumble, a few short weeks away. King Sheamus announced that the Royal Rumble was to be the beginning of the reversal of his fortunes, that he was going to win the Royal Rumble match, and once again win the WWE Championship. Sheamus began to win matches once more, defeating such stars as R-Truth, United States Champion Daniel Bryan, and Mark Henry, gaining momentum, and making a statement in throwing them all out of the ring after defeating them. Many members of the WWE Universe began to mark Sheamus as the winner of the Royal Rumble, and even the commentators began to think this as well, with Michael Cole advocating a Wrestlemania headlined by Sheamus. Perhaps Jerry Lawler was going to have to admit he was wrong, and that Sheamus' head is in the game. January 30th, 2011 - The 24th Annual Royal Rumble. The traditional thrity men now a whopping forty, and the chances of winning the match decreased. Over the course of the night, WWE cameras caught many Superstars choosing thier numbers, and voicing thier opinion on it. Sheamus took his number, smiled at it, and said it may be unlucky for some, but for him it's only unlucky for the rest of the Superstars. The night was a great one as the main event approached, with The Miz beating Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship without the help of his personal assistant Alex Riley, who was out of commision thanks to John Morrison attacking him backstage to make the match 'fair', but the match ended up being far from it, as Chris Jericho made a return to cost Randy Orton the match. Edge defeated Dolph Ziggler, squeezing out the win without his Spear being used on Dolph Ziggler, instead using it on Vickie Guerrero and roling up Ziggler as he looked on horrified at the sight of his influential lover out cold on the outside. Natalya also defeated Team LayCool after a fan took it upon herself to even the odds and smash Layla's head hard against a ring post before the match began, leaving it as a one on one match which Natalya had no trouble winning. The fan then attacked Natalya as well, nailing her with a huge powerbomb, and announcing that 'Kong' has arrived. However, the most important part of the night, and the part of the night the WWE Universe was looking forward to come, and after a long wait, the Royal Rumble match got underway. Twelve participants entered, with some surviving in the match, and some being launched over the top such as Trent Barretta, and Tyson Kidd. Number 13 began to count down, and the count got to one, and the theme song of Sheamus played, the 'Celtic Warrior' and King of the Ring being the thirteenth entrant in this historic contest. Sheamus made his mark on the match, eliminating five others, including the three he eliminated to make a statement, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, and R-Truth, in his Royal Rumble match debut, and managing to survive until the fourtieth entrant. The crowd counted down, anticipating the final entrant in the match, with the last seven men in the ring already, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus, The Big Show, and Wade Barrett, all wondering who the man joining them would be. The 0 came up on the mini-tron, and the arena went dark! Wade Barrett began to panic, fearing the return of The Undertaker, but CM Punk took this as his chance to throw Barrett out, saracastically waving at him before John Cena did the same to him. After this, the lights came back on, and the words 'GAME ON!' were on the titantron. Sheamus then looked on in horror, as 'The Game' by Motorhead rung out through the arena, the 'King of Kings' Triple H finally making a return to the WWE after nine months sidelined! Triple H charged out, water bottle in hand, spraying water everywhere, looking more enraged than ever before! Sheamus tried to act confident, but as soon as Triple H got in the ring, he backed away, and for quite possibly the first time in his illustrious career, Triple H didn't care about winning the Royal Rumble match, he just wanted to get his hands on Sheamus! Much like long time rival Mick Foley with his former protege Randy Orton in 2004, Triple H launched himself at Sheamus, and clotheslined him over the top rope, the momentum carrying them both out of the match. The two brawled to the back, Triple H showing that he was just a fierce as ever, managing to make the 'Celtic Warrior' flee for fear of his physical well being. The Royal Rumble match continued meanwhile, with John Cena managing to take the win after last eliminating Rey Mysterio, and shaking his hand in recognition of his effort afterwards. The following night on Monday Night RAW, Triple H revealed that he is not cleared to compete in the ring still, but that doesn't mean that he can't come back and beat the life out of Sheamus if he wants to. He also ridicules the computer General Manager, saying that if he isn't scared to risk his health, why is the General Manager? He then demands to know who the General Manager is, with the General Manager saying that he will reveal his identity after the Elimination Chamber PPV, where Triple H is forbidden from competing in any match! He also orders that Sheamus and Triple H sign a contract that stipulates Triple H and Sheamus ARE NOT to come into physical contact at all, or they will jeapordise thier WWE Careers, as they will be released from thier contracts with the RAW Brand immendiately! The tensions were high in the locker room on Monday Nights, with The Miz fearing for his WWE Championship reign at the Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, Randy Orton and Chris Jericho at each other's throats, and The New Nexus plotting to help CM Punk win the WWE Championship. The week's went by, with Sheamus, CM Punk, Randy Orton, John Morrison, and Daniel Bryan all qualifying for the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship. Triple H was forced to sit by as the man he loathed got a shot at the WWE Championship once more, while he risked losing what he worked for his entire life if he tried to do anything about it. However, the crafty Triple H arranged for an old friend to step in, and prevent Sheamus from winning the Championship. February 20th, 2011 - Elimination Chamber. With the Elimination Chamber now a named staple in the Road to Wrestlemania, the possibilities for World Championship bouts at the Grandest Stage of All, Wrestlemania, is endless. The Elimination Chamber match opened the Pay Per View, with The Undertaker, who was billed as a suprise entrant, overcoming Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, his brother Kane, Rey Mysterio and The Big Show to earn the Number One Contenders spot against the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett, who defeated Edge with the help of The Corre, who's members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel defeated Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov to win the WWE Tag Team Championships for a second time earlier in the night. Kong also defeated Team LayCool, and Melina in a fatal four way to earn a shot at the Divas Champion Natalya at Wrestlemania. The Main Event of the evening, the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber, ended with some controversy, as the old friend Triple H mentioned turned out to be Shawn Michaels, who made a special one time appearance, and repeated his trick of the previous year by climbing into the Chamber, and nailing Sweet Chin Music on an unsuspecting Sheamus, leaving CM Punk able to cover him, and win his first WWE Championship. The following night on RAW, the anonymous General Manager revealed himself at the end of the show, with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin revealing himself as the General Manager of RAW, claiming fears for his neck as the reason he remained anonymous. He said he forbade Triple H from competing at Elimination Chamber, and from coming into contact with Sheamus for that same reason, as he didn't want to see one of his close friends suffer a serious injury. Triple H demanded Austin lift it now, or he will worry about his neck, but Austin laughed, before giving Triple H a serious face, and telling him to go home where he belongs. Triple H reluctantly does so, with Sheamus bragging that he is the reason RAW has been rid of Triple H not once, but TWICE . Austin tells Sheamus not to brag about something he didn't do, as he says he told Triple H to go and he did. He then warns that he's never given him a Stunner, and a beating like no other before, but if needs must he will, even if he will risk his health. Sheamus takes offense to this comment, and along with the New Nexus, performs an assault on Austin on the next edition of RAW, before John Cena and the returning Triple H (with sledgehammer in hand) charge the ring, and save Austin. Austin returns the next week, the penultimate week before Wrestlemania, after being helped out of the arena the week before, suspends the New Nexus until AFTER Wrestlemania, and says next week, he's giving in to the demands of one his best friends, and going against what the board of directots has said, and a contract signing with Sheamus and Triple H for an Unsanctioned Match will take place, saying that Sheamus pissed off the wrong guy, and now he'll pay the price! The final week arrives, with Triple H gladly signing the contract that states any injuries sustained will be the fault of the two men and not the WWE, who didn't authorize Austin's decision to book this match, but are (in Austin's words) too scared to tell him he can't. Austin threatens to fire Sheamus if he doesn't sign the contract, which forces Sheamus to sign. Triple H gets up to try and fight him, but Austin steps in the way, saying that the no physical contact contract expires in six days at Wrestlemania! April 3rd, 2011 -Wrestlemania XXVII! An amazing night of historic WWE action ensued, as Alberto Del Rio claimed the Money in the Bank briefcase, Daniel Bryan defeated Jack Swagger in a clash of the champions, John Morrison finally triumphed against The Miz, Natalya somehow overcame the powerful Kong, The Big Show defeated fellow giant Kane, and Edge and Christian re-united to win, for the eighth time together, the WWE Tag Team Championships from The Corre (represented by Gabriel and Slater). Then, the time had come for Sheamus and Triple H to finally settle thier feud, not in a match, but in an unsanctioned match at the Grandest Stage of All, Wrestlemania! The crowd was ready to see these two rip eachother limb from limb, and all in the name of pain. For Sheamus, it was time once more to play The Game!
| Unsanctioned Match: Sheamus vs. Triple H | Triple H enters first to a huge pop from the crowd, storming down the ramp with a focused look in his eye. Sheamus enters next to good heat, also looking focused. Triple H leaves the ring as Sheamus arrives at the ring, getting out, and slamming Sheamus into the barricade. He continues to beat down on Sheamus on the outside, pounding him with his right hand, before lifting him up and tossing him into the stairs. He shoves his hand under the ring, and pulls out his sledgehammer, but Sheamus boots him in the thigh, and Triple H drops the sledgehammer. Sheamus fires huge rights and lefts at Triple H, returning the favour by tossing him head first into the barricade. Sheamus then digs under the ring himself, pulling out a steel chair, and as Triple H gets to his feet, Sheamus whacks him in the head with the chair, with Triple H falling back. Sheamus drops the chair, and grabs the steel steps, and runs towards Triple H at speed, but the veteran twelve time world champion drops down, and drop toe holds Sheamus, who falls and hits his head on the stairs. Triple H then grabs the chair, and swings it hard on Sheamus' back, lighting up his pale skin so it's patchy and red. Triple H continues the beatdown, lifting up Sheamus, and slamming his face into the ringpost. He then returns to pick up his sledgehammer, but Sheamus catches up with him, and sends him flying with his Brogue Kick, knocking him over the barricade and into the crowd. Sheamus follows him, and beats him down, hitting him with clubbing double axe handles to his back, the crowd around booing the 'Celtic Warrior'. Sheamus and Triple H brawl through the crowd, heading back several rows before Sheamus decides to take it back to the ring, and sends Triple H back into the arena by throwing him through the barricade head first! Triple H looks woozy, and Sheamus takes advantage, hitting a second Brogue Kick on him, which sends Triple H crashing to the arena floor. Triple H pulls himself up with the ring as support, but Sheamus had been rooting around under the ring, and pulled out his steel pipe! He waited for Triple H to get upright, and charges at him swinging the pipe, but Triple H ducks the pipe shot and reaches for his sledgehammer, managing to grab it and nail Sheamus with a headshot as he comes running back at him with the pipe for a second time! Sheamus is downed, and Triple H drags him towards the spanish announce table, stripping it, and the Pay Per View announce team table, before motioning to the crowd it was time for the Pedigree. He pulls himself and Sheamus onto the Pay Per View announce table, and sets up Sheamus for the Pedigree, but Sheamus escapes, and manages to hit Triple H with a third Brogue Kick, sending Triple H flying through the air before crashing through the announce table, crushing it. Sheamus smiles down at Triple H, before grabbing the steel steps, and throwing them in the ring, saying that the match is done! Sheamus pulls Triple H into the ring, and decides to grab Triple H's sledgehammer. He takes aim with it, rallying Triple H, telling him to get to his feet. Triple H gets to his feet, but ducks the shot from the sledgehammer, and low-blows Sheamus! He then picks up his sledgehammer and swings wildly at Sheamus, who also manages to duck a shot. Sheamus boots Triple H in the mid section, and pulls him into position for the High Cross, saying this fight is over. He lifts him up, but just like The Undertaker at Wrestlemania X7, Triple H grabs his sledgehammer on the way up and swings at Sheamus head, woozying him, and causing him to drop Triple H on his feet. Triple H swings at Sheamus head again with the Sledgehammer, taking Sheamus down! Sheamus is then pulled to his feet, and given the crotch chop by Triple H, who pulls him over the steel steps, and nails him with the Pedigree! Triple H falls into the corner as Sheamus lay out cold on the steps, as a referee declares the 'match' over! | Winner: Triple H |
Triple H rests on a turnbuckle, furrowing his brow for sweat, the referee telling him to get to his feet, which he does, before having his arm raised in victory! He throws himself into his trademark pose, before pointing to each side of the arena, and leaving as the referees try and bring Sheamus to. After this contest, The Undertaker defeated Wade Barrett to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and John Cena defeated The Nexus leader CM Punk to win the WWE Championship once more, and close the 27th edition of the show of shows, Wrestlemania! The following night, General Manager Steve Austin announces the WWE Draft the next week on Monday Night RAW! He also announces that at the end of the night, there will be a fatal four way match at the end of the night for a shot at John Cena's WWE Championship! CM Punk overcomes Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and Triple H to earn another shot at the WWE Championship, after Sheamus distracted Triple H who was then turned round and hit with the GTS by CM Punk. It looked like Sheamus feud with Triple H was set to continue, but the draft sent several WWE Superstars on new paths. Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Ted DiBiase, and Triple H moved to Friday Night SmackDown!, while Alberto Del Rio, 'Dashing' Cody Rhodes, Edge, and Kane headed to the flagship show, Monday Night RAW! With his feud with Sheamus finally over, Triple H tried to regain a title he hadn't held since 2005, the World Heavyweight Championship. However, there was four men who didn't agree with this, The Corre, and they targeted Triple H like they had so many other superstars in the past. Will it be 'Game' over for Triple H, or have the pack of wolves that is The Corre bitten off more than they can chew by deciding to play?

Ten Raw and Smackdown superstars enter the match and if they manage to claim that briefcase they can cash in a shot at any time for the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship within the next year. Every person to ever hold the Money In The Bank up until now has gone on to win a world championship after cashing in.
Will this years winner end up following the same path - or go down the wrong road and up wasting their opportunity and being the first loser?
Superstar | Defeated | Date | Brand | R-Truth | Michael McGillicutty | 2/28/11 | Raw | John Morrison | David Otunga | 2/28/11 | Raw | Kofi Kingston | Curt Hawkins | 3/4/11 | SD | Drew McIntyre | Rey Mysterio | 3/4/11 | SD | Ted DiBiase | David Hart Smith | 3/7/11 | Raw | Alex Riley | Santino Marella | 3/7/11 | Raw | Trent Baretta | Tyler Reks | 3/11/11 | SD | Jack Swagger | Chris Masters | 3/11/11 | SD | Mark Henry | Mason Ryan | 3/14/11 | Raw | Kane | Battle Royal | 3/18/11 | SD |
All ten participants get to the ring and the bell sounds. Mark Henry and Kane get ganged up on early by everyone as they try to take out the big men. They fight back though and work together. Not for long, though, as Kane big boots Henry. He is then blindsided with a dropkick from R-Truth that drops him to his knee and then one from Morrison that sends him to the outside. Baretta gets the first ladder on the outside but gets it smacked into his face by Kingston with a huge Trouble In Paradise into the ladder. Kane and Henry get up on the outside near each other and Kingston, DiBiase, Swagger, and Riley go at them. Morrison, however, climbs to the top rope and launches himself into all seven men. Back in the ring, McIntyre begins to set up a ladder and starts his ascent. Baretta returns in the ring though and he shakes the ladder rapidly. McIntyre yells at him as he holds on tight. As Baretta continues this act, Truth re-enters the ring and climbs up behind McIntyre. He yanks him down to the mat by the tights but turns right to a superkick from Baretta. He raises his arms up in taunt and quickly scurries himself up the ladder. As soon as he gets half-way up Morrison and Kingston get back into the ring with a ladder together. They set it up leaning into the ladder and Kingston runs up it. He hops onto the top rung and trades blows with Baretta at the top. Kane takes Morrison's foot from the outside and drops him down. He drags him out and uppercuts him hard as the others start to stir. He enters the ring and grabs the leaning ladder. He sends it up and nails Kingston in the back, causing him to lose his balance a bit. He sends it up again and Kingston crashes down to the mat. Baretta then reaches for the briefcase but Kane smashes it up into his chest and drops him down. Truth gets back to his feet and he gets the ladder as well. Kane throws the ladder over the ropes and it nails DiBiase and Riley, pinning them to the floor. McIntyre, Kane, Morrison, Truth, Henry, Swagger, Kingston, and Baretta end up being the ones in the ring. Swagger takes it to Kingston, Henry with Kane, Morrison with McIntyre, and Truth with Baretta. DiBiase isn't too pleased on the outside as he throws Riley into the steel steps and re-enters the ring with a ladder. He goes wild and nails Truth, Baretta, Swagger, and Henry. He throws the ladder down and gets hit with Trouble In Paradise by Kingston. Morrison then goes for Starship Pain but Kofi turns on him by pulling a ladder over DiBiase, causing Morrison to flop around the ring like crazy. McIntyre then comes up to Kingston and nails him with the Future Shock. He looks around the inside and outside of the ring at everybody down and quickly sets up a ladder below the briefcase. He begins to make his way up slowly but Henry returns to his feet slowly. He goes over to the ladder and grabs towards the third rung. McIntyre orders him to not do anything but Henry slowly brings it up and leans it towards the ropes. McIntyre gets one foot onto the top rope but Henry pulls the ladder away and McIntyre drops down onto them and falls to the floor. Henry manages to pull the ladder back into mid-ring but gets struck from behind by Kane. He turns and gets grabbed by the throat. Kane can't lift him though and Henry breaks free, giving a headbutt. He goes and clotheslines him against the ropes but ends up going over with him sloppily. Morrison, Baretta, Truth, and Kingston get back up and all go towards the ladder. Morrison breaks off and grabs one of the downed ones and pulls it up. He begins to climb it as Truth goes on the other side. Kingston and Baretta trade a couple of blows before Kingston shoves him off hard at the same time Morrison knocks Truth down with a kick to the head. Kingston then shoves his boot into the ladder, but Morrison catches his feet on the ropes with ease as he comes down. He fixes his position and pushes the ladder up, leapfrogs over it, and grabs hold of the top of Kofi's ladder. He gets a foot on both sides and begins to trade shots with Kingston. He quickly spins under Kofi as he avoids a shot and trips his face into the ladder. He then manages to climb over Kingston and grabs hold of the briefcase. Kingston, though, slides down to the mat and pulls the ladder out from under JoMo. The crowd goes crazy as McIntyre, Kingston, Riley, DiBiase, and Baretta stand below Morrison. The Shaman of Sexy unhooks the briefcase in mid-air, though, and collapses onto his opponents.
Winner of the match and the ninth Money In The Bank holder, John Morrison Rated R Monday Night RAW; 7th March 2011
The show kicked off with Mr. McMahon making a special appearance. He announced that the Money in the Bank match will return at WrestleMania and unlike the briefcases on the line at the Money in the Bank pay per view the WrestleMania briefcase allows the holder to challenge for either title at any time in the forthcoming year. With this announcement made it was revealed that qualifying matches would begin tonight!
John Morrison battled Sheamus to kick off the show. With the history between these two superstars this turned out to be a fantastic match. Sheamus’s losing streak continued here as Morrison put him away cleanly with the Starship Pain to qualify for the Money in the Bank match.
Later in the night United States Champion Daniel Bryan battled Ted DiBiase, who hasn’t been having the best time recently, for the second spot in the match. Daniel Bryan looked close to coming out on top when the referee was taken out and Sheamus ran in and attacked Bryan, making him easy prey for the pinfall.
Friday Night SmackDown; 11th March 2011
The first of two qualifying matches on SmackDown saw Jack Swagger clash with Rey Mysterio. The two put on a great match but a distraction by Cody Rhodes, who has been feuding with Mysterio, allowed Swagger to hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the victory.
We also saw Drew McIntyre overcome Chris Masters in a solid bout to gain the fourth spot in the match.
Monday Night RAW; 14th March 2011
The New Nexus were involved in two qualifying matches on RAW. The first pitted R-Truth against Michael McGillicutty. Despite interference by Husky Harris R-Truth still came out on top with an Axe Kick to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match.
The night didn’t get any better for the New Nexus as their leader CM Punk clashed with Mark Henry. Despite the size and power difference it looked like CM Punk was going to come out on top if not for interference courtesy of Randy Orton, which Mark Henry capitalised on with the World’s Strongest Slam for the victory.
Friday Night SmackDown; 18th March 2011
As the qualifiers continued Cody Rhodes met Kofi Kingston in an entertaining match. Rhodes attempted to get the underhanded victory with a steel chair but Rey Mysterio got involved in revenge for last week, pulling the chair out of Rhodes hands and allowing Kingston to hit Trouble in Paradise for the pinfall.
Our second match was the battle of the big men as Kane clashed with Corre member Ezekial Jackson. Attempted interference by the rest of Corre was thwarted by Big Show, Santino Marella and Vladamir Kozlov and the distraction caused Jackson to take his mind off of Kane. He immediately regretted it however as Kane chokeslammed him to pick up the victory.
Monday Night RAW; 21st March 2011
With just one spot left for RAW it was announced that a battle royal would take place. It was the shocking return of Dolph Ziggler, who announced he had been rehired by RAW’s anonymous general manager, which stole the moment. And he went one better by winning the battle royal, last eliminating Daniel Bryan, to qualify.
Friday Night SmackDown; 25th March 2011
Following in RAW’s footsteps a battle royal took place to name the final qualifier for the Money in the Bank match. Despite featuring some talented individuals it would be Christian, who only returned the week earlier, who took the victory and qualified for another Money in the Bank match.
Monday Night RAW; 28th March 2011
With less than a week until the biggest show of the year all ten Money in the Bank competitors were involved in separate matches, which saw Kane defeat Mark Henry, Ted DiBiase roll up R-Truth for the victory, Dolph Ziggler overcome Kofi Kingston and John Morrison & Christian defeat Jack Swagger & Drew McIntyre.
Friday Night SmackDown; 1st April 2011
As the final stop before WrestleMania we saw a ten man tag team match take place as the RAW competitors took on their SmackDown opponents. In the end Dolph Ziggler pinned Kofi Kingston for the victory. Following the match a massive brawl erupted which saw John Morrison and Christian as the final two men standing, setting the stage for this Sunday.
WrestleMania 27; 3rd April 2011 Money in the Bank Ladder Match John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Jack Swagger vs. Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth vs. Mark Henry vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Christian
This is the opening match of the twenty seventh annual WrestleMania pay per view and the fans are hyped up as we kick off the biggest event of the wrestling calendar with one of the most exciting and dangerous matches on the card tonight.
The bell rings and immediately Dolph Ziggler darts outside the ring looking for a ladder while the remaining nine men go at it in the ring. Mark Henry is a powerhouse as he quickly throws R-Truth, Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre out of the ring before being stopped in his tracks by the the only man who matches up to his size – Kane. While Kane and Mark Henry go at it in the ring. Dolph is in the process of grabbing a ladder when suddenly John Morrison springboards over the ropes and lands straight on Ziggler, sending both men sprawling to the floor. Kane and Henry continue going at it in the ring but everybody quickly realises that they need to take out the big guys first and Christian, Ted DiBiase and R-Truth are on Kane while Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston are brawling with Mark Henry. Kane and Henry put up a good fight but the numbers game is too much as both are sent outside the ring with force.
The six men begin brawling in the ring when John Morrison slides in with a small ladder and begins going to work, slamming the ladder into Drew, R-Truth and DiBiase before turning straight into a dropkick courtesy of Kofi Kingston sending the ladder straight back into Morrison. Outside the ring Dolph Ziggler is back on his feet and rolls in a normal sized ladder just as Kingston uses the small ladder, hitting both Christian and Jack Swagger at the same time. Kingston turns but Ziggler runs the larger ladder straight into Kingston who flops to the mat. Ziggler seems like the only man standing and begins to set up the ladder when R-Truth rolls into the ring and the two begin brawling. Kane enters next and while both Ziggler and R-Truth attempt to fight him off they both find themselves the victims of a double chokeslam. Kane sets up the ladder and begins a very slow climb, seemingly set to gain victory...
But it’s not ending this early as Ted DiBiase gets to his feet and begins climbing as well. The two try pushing the other off and a stalemate is met. Both reach the top of the ladder at the same time and begin exchanging punches when Kane grabs Ted DiBiase around the throat, delivering a thunderous chokeslam off of the ladder, pretty much taking DiBiase out of this match. Kane reaches for the briefcase but John Morrison springboards off of the top rope and leaps straight onto the ladder. Morrison tries knocking Kane off but once again Kane goes for the chokeslam only for Christian to push the ladder over! Kane crashes to the mat while Morrison leaps off of the ladder at the last minute, landing with both feet perfectly on the top rope, jumping backwards and elbowing Christian to the mat in a sublime move! Morrison gets to his feet but is met by R-Truth and the two begin brawling in the ring.
On the outside Jack Swagger has been putting the boots in on Mark Henry. He gets another ladder and this time props it up using the ring and the announce table. Swagger clearly has some kind of destructive plan in mind as he pulls Henry to his feet but Henry fights back, stopping whatever Swagger had planned. Henry spots the ladder and picks Swagger up in a World’s Strongest Slam stance. Henry looks set on planting Henry on the ladder but a well timed save by Drew McIntyre stops the move. An unspoken alliance seems to have been struck between Swagger and McIntyre as they go to work on Mark Henry, eventually managing to pick him up and putting him straight through the ladder! Mark Henry is completely out of it and the heaviest man in this match has been neutralised thanks to Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre and a ladder.
Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger enter the ring and immediately go after the only two men standing – John Morrison & R-Truth. The heels take the upper hand but all four men are unaware of Kofi Kingston, who has rolled out of the ring and is setting up a ladder on the outside. The four superstars in the ring continue brawling as Kingston ascends the overly sized ladder on the outside, close to the brawling superstars. McIntyre is the first to notice Kingston and dives out of the way and Kingston leaps off of the ladder, landing on and taking out John Morrison, Jack Swagger and R-Truth in one fell sweep. Kingston is on his feet, giving his signature taunt to the delight of the fans but he has forgotten about McIntyre, who boots Kingston as he turns around before delivering the Future Shock, leaving McIntyre as the only man left standing. McIntyre sets up a ladder in the ring and begins climbing when Christian slides in. Instead of going up the opposite side of the ladder to McIntyre Christian hooks his legs and proceeds to deliver a sickening electric chair drop to McIntyre on the smaller ladder that was brought into play earlier! McIntyre is in a lot of pain as Christian pushes him out of the ring and begins climbing the ladder himself.
It looks close but Kofi Kingston springboards off of the ropes and dropkicks the ladder. Christian manages to salvage things as he puts a foot out on the rope and pushes himself along with the ladder back into a standing position. Christian continues climbing but Kingston isn’t going to give up that easily as he begins climbing the ladder as well. By this point Dolph Ziggler is on his feet and as he watches Kingston and Christian going at it on the top of the ladder he grins and charges into the ladder, sending it toppling over. For the second time however things aren’t that easy as both Christian and Kingston get a foot on the ropes and push the ladder back up, sending the metal bar connecting the two sides of the ladder straight into Ziggler’s jaw. Ziggler goes down immediately as Christian and Kingston go at each other once again atop the ladder.
While all this is going on R-Truth has managed to get to his feet. He goes to the outside where he is immediately besieged by Jack Swagger. The two go back and forth until R-Truth gets the upper hand, throwing Swagger over the security barricade. R-Truth pulls a ladder out from under the ring while Swagger pulls himself back over the security barricade. Swagger gets to his feet and is met jaw first by the ladder that R-Truth has just pulled out. R-Truth slides the ladder into the ring and follows after only to find himself face to face with Kane, who has also just gotten onto his feet. Kane grabs R-Truth around the throat and proceeds to chokeslam him on top of the ladder! Kane picks up the ladder and is about to use it to knock both Christian and Kofi Kingston off of their ladder when John Morrison is suddenly on the apron. He flies off of the top rope, dropkicking Kane in the back. Kane goes face first into the ladder which he is holding before falling into the ladder that Christian and Kingston are standing atop. Kingston and Christian fly off of the ladder, Christian crotching himself on the rope while Kingston crashes and burns on the outside.
With only himself, Christian and Kane standing in the ring Morrison mounts the ladder on his shoulder and aeroplane spins, knocking both Kane and Christian out of the ring with the ladder. Morrison proceeds to set the ladder up, makes the climb and without any opposition unhooks the briefcase to become WrestleMania’s Mr. Money in the Bank! From the top of the ladder Morrison surveys the carnage at ringside as medics check on numerous competitors. Morrison raises the briefcase up high as the crowd go crazy! Winner & Mr. Money in the Bank: John Morrison

Division #3: No Preset
Singles Bout: Winner Gains Entry into SWA No Preset Championship Match Cenanation vs. Stuffs Stipulation: Rewrite the debut of Chris Jericho in the WWF (as you would have liked)
Cenanation defeats Stuffs by countout. Cena automatically receives 3 points and is added to the SWA No Preset Championship Match next month.
Cenanation Y2J ArrivesAugust 9th, 2001
Chris Jericho interrupts The Rock, cutting him off, and begins to cut his own promo, saying that the "greatest is here." He tells The Rock that the honor has been overtaken by Y2J. The Rock tells him that tonight, they can fight for that honor when he kicks his "candy ass" all around the ring." He asks Jericho what his name is, only to cut him off and "tell him it doesn't matter what he thinks!" The Rock tells him then that they should settle this right now since Rock has better stuff to deal with. Jericho leaves, setting it up for later tonight.
Chris Jericho's Debut Match Chris Jericho def. The Rock
A fantastic match for this young superstar, Chris Jericho. The Rock was dominant early on, hitting him with shots in the corner and then a final hard one. The Rock whipped him to the turnbuckle and hits the spinebuster and scoop slam. He looks to make quick work of him but Jericho elbows away and ducks below him and hits the Breakdown. He goes for the springboard Moonsault but Rock moves away and hits the spinning elbow lariat. The Rock then hits a rare top rope clothesline for the two. This match would go back-and-forth for a longer while, Jericho attempted an Engizuri shot to The Rock which misses, hitting the referee. Chris attempted a Walls of Jericho but The Rock kicks him away and hits the clothesline and calls for the People's Elbow, but his SummerSlam opponent, Mr. Ass comes out and tries to hit him with a chair, but Rock ducks and hits Mr. Ass with a People's Elbow. Jericho comes out of nowhere and nails The Rock with a chair shot, followed by three more and then locks in the Walls of Jericho, The Rock eventually tapping.

Division #3: No Preset
Singles Bout: Winner Gains Entry into SWA No Preset Championship Match Duaner vs. Fury Stipulation: Rebook the entire WWF European Championship inaugural tournament in 1997
Duaner defeats Fury by countout. Duan automatically receives 3 points and is added to the SWA No Preset Championship Match next month.
Duaner WWF EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT Deutschland Xpress Tour, February 1997
The World Wrestling Federation is feeling the pressure from its competition and need to do something in order to keep their fans. World Championship Wrestling is at the top of its game and growing, while the WWF stock is deflating. What’s a good way to keep your fans interested? Take a page out of your competition’s book by adding another title for your superstars to compete over.
The WWF introduced the European Championship in February of 1997 and had decided that eight of the best and brightest on their roster will battle it out in a tournament in order to determine the championship. The catch? The tournament and eventual championship match will take place on a tour of Europe and Germany, culminating at a live event in Berlin.
So for the next week, eight superstars will compete in order to advance to the final match, which will take place in Germany on the 26th. The eight superstars chosen consisted of Mankind, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, British Bulldog, Owen Hart, Ahmed Johnson, Faarooq, Vader and Bret Hart. The strange part about the tournament is that Johnson & Faarooq have been at war with each other for the past few months, Bret Hart & The British Bulldog have been dominating the tag team scene and have held the championship for quite some time and the other four men involved were some of the bigger stars in the WWF. The WWF was determined to make this championship have high prestige right away. The bracket of the tournament was made official right before the tour began, so no superstar really knew who they would be facing until they left for overseas:
Mankind British Bulldog
Hunter Hearst Helmsley Bret Hart
Faarooq Owen Hart
Vader Ahmed Johnson
WWF European Championship Tournament – Night #1 (2/19/97)
Round One Match Bret Hart defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley after Hunter had no choice but to submit to the Sharpshooter. This match opened up the show and basically stole it. These guys had great chemistry in the ring and this win gave Hart a big boost since Helmsley is no slouch. [13:46]
Round One Match Ahmed Johnson defeated Vader after the Pearl River Plunge. Of course, this one wasn’t as good…at all. Vader knows how to work a match, but Johnson is not the best in the ring. Either way, John barely got Vader up for the Plunge and when he came down, it didn’t look so good. [08:10]
WWF European Championship Tournament – Night #2 (2/20/97)
Round One Match British Bulldog defeated Mankind after a Running Powerslam in a really good match. Bulldog was rejuvenated by his hometown fans and had full support over the deranged one. Mankind really put a fight to Bulldog, but was shot down to the crowd’s delight. [12:41]
Round One Match Faarooq defeated Owen Hart after Ahmed Johnson came running down and attacked Faarooq, causing a disqualification. Hart seemed to have Faarooq on the ropes but Johnson didn’t want to take any chances. Owen was certainly pissed off with this outcome. [15:06]
WWF European Championship Tournament – Night #3 (2/23/97)
Round Two Match Faarooq and Ahmed Johnson fought to a draw, after they were counted out while brawling all around the ring. These guys really wanted to get at each other and didn’t seem to care about the European Championship once things got intense. Referees and Road Agents poured out from the back in order to stop the melee that had occurred. [11:02]
This left WWF officials in a predicament. So, instead of having the Bret Hart/British Bulldog match the next night, they would delay it and give both men a bye. So, when the WWF goes to Dublin, the Bulldog and the Hitman will tangle up to determine who will become the first WWF European Champion!
WWF European Championship Tournament – Finals (2/26/97)
Finals British Bulldog defeated Bret Hart to become the first ever WWF European Champion after Bulldog put him down with the Running Powerslam after Bret became distracted by his brother, Owen, who was at ringside to support his partner. This match between brothers-in-law was intense and the crowd was on the edge of their seats the entire time. Owen couldn’t stand to see his brother take the Championship away from his team, so he started shouting at Bret which allowed Bulldog to gain the upper hand. A great match was spoiled by a jealous brother and Bulldog’s win was actually met with boos from the crowd…surprisingly. [25:01]

Division #3: No Preset
Singles Bout: Winner Gains Entry into SWA No Preset Championship Match DTP vs. Matt Stipulation: Rebook Vengeance 2007 as if the 'Chris Benoit incident' never happened
DTP defeats Matt by countout. DTP automatically receives 3 points and is added to the SWA No Preset Championship Match next month.
DTP What if Chris Benoit Survived? Chris Benoit was not meant to die, or commit unmentionable actions that would effect his legacy in the wrestling world, or hit the professional wrestling scene with controversy. Benoit killed his family over the weekend of an event in which he played a big role, which didn't make matters much better when news had been released that Benoit had killed his family. Chris Benoit, Nancy Benoit and Daniel Benoit's bodies were all found on Monday, June 25th 2007. The night before, the "Rabid Wolverine" had been scheduled to face CM Punk in the finals of an ECW World Championship tournament. Unfortunately, Benoit had supposedly missed his flight to a live event in Beaumont, Texas on June, and he was forced to miss the show. On Friday before the event, Benoit left the tour of ECW and SmackDown due to a supposed family emergency, under the understanding that Nancy and Daniel had became plagued with food poisoning. It was later revealed that Chris had killed Nancy on Friday in an upstairs office of their house, apparently via stabbing. Nancy had attempted to fight it but she was found dead in towel that following Monday. Chris left a Bible with his wife's body. The next day between the hours of 3:30 p.m. EDT, Benoit sent a voice message to WWE superstar, Chavo Guerrero revealing that he had overslept and missed his flight to Beaumont. Guerrero called Benoit back and Benoit sounded fatigued and tired. There was growing concern among the Benoit family's friends. A co-worker called Benoit and Chris revealed that Nancy and Daniel were vomiting blood from food poisoning. Chris used the cover story that he and Nancy had taken Daniel to the hospital. In actuality, Daniel Benoit was suffocated and murdered in his bedroom, another Bible left near his body. It seemed as though Benoit had strangled his son as Daniel had internal injuries around the throat but there was no bruises. Reports flew by that Daniel was intoxicated at the time of strangulation, or unconscious already. A large butcher's knife was nearby the scene, but had not been used in said murder. Daniel had then been diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome, and needle marks in the boy's arm suggested he had been injected with growth hormones given to him. Finally, Chris Benoit committed suicide by hanging himself from a weight machine cord, which he had used as a noose. Benoit had hung himself with 240lbs (six pounds more than his actual weight) and was hanging dead at sight of discovery. On Monday, June 25 the WWE were notified of messages from Chavo Guerrero and WWE referee, Scott Armstrong and an investigation was made, the bodies being founded and the case being looked into. In the aftermath of the occasion, many friends and wrestling fans broke out into fights over Chris Benoit being a murderer, and the case was officially named a double murder and suicide. No suicide note was left, but Benoit had written in a Bible handed to his mother of two children, Martina "I'm preparing to leave this Earth..." The result of the final case and the full discovery of the Benoit tragedy caused debates across the professional wrestling scene and the entire media, regarding steroids and drugs (the idea that Chris had suffered from brain problems due to the amount of head injuries suffered from wrestling over the years) and also putting the pro wrestling scene in jeopardy. Wrestlers past and present commented, from Kurt Angle, Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan to others such as Lex Luger, Marc Mero, Bret Hart, Ted Dibiase Sr, Chyna, Ultimate Warrior and various other names, as well as fellow WWE superstars. The WWE decided to block Chris Benoit's name and uses from all acknowledgements, banning his voice, his talents and all memory of Chris Benoit from history. Disappearing from DVD releases, game releases, television, Benoit had been named and shamed, and WWE were protecting their own image. But what if things had gone differently? 2007 On June 24th, 2007 was the finals of the ECW World Championship tournament, set up weeks earlier after the vacating of the title belt. Chris Benoit and CM Punk had been loved by the fans of the company for their skills in the past, and their styles seemed to be extremely similar. In the semi-finals of the four-man tournament on the weekly television show ECW on Sci-Fi, the "Rabid Wolverine" had advanced to this match by defeating Elijah Burke. The "Straight Edge Superstar" had transgressed to this point with a win against Marcus Cor Von. Both superstars seemed equal, and in the end of a battle at Vengeance: Night of Champions, CM Punk attempted the step-up knee in the corner just for Benoit to move and apply the Crossface, Punk tapping out after a tenacious fight. CM Punk and Chris Benoit shook hands afterwards, and the "Rabid Wolverine" seemed to have definitely proved his point and left a mark as the new ECW World Champion. Punk showed himself loyal to Benoit, backing him up on ECW on Sci-Fi against such opponents as The Miz, Marcus Cor Von and Elijah Burke, as well as interesting oppositions like Mike Knox and Kevin Thorn. Whenever Benoit needed an ally, he could rely on Punk. John Morrison was a man who was definitely stepping up to the plate, and the supposed "Shaman of Sexy" issued a challenge to Benoit for the Great American Bash. On July 22nd, John Morrison and Benoit fought, and Morrison showed to be a true threat to the "Rabid Wolverine" using his unorthodox and interesting style and using many high-flying moves to catch Benoit off-guard. Morrison went for the Moonlight Drive, but Benoit took Morrison out with the German suplex, and went for the Diving Headbutt just for Morrison to leave the ring and intentionally get himself disqualified, attacking Benoit with the ECW title. Following the Great American Bash, John Morrison aligned himself with the obnoxious Miz: a superstar with the luscious Extreme Exposé on his arms, and the next week on ECW Morrison picked up a win against Benoit in tag team action also involving CM Punk thanks to the distraction of Layla, Kelly Kelly and Brooke. The Extreme Exposé tried to flirt with Benoit, and this increasingly made Benoit angry and angry. Morrison got more confident, and a rematch for SummerSlam was made, Benoit to face Morrison in an Extreme Rules match. Morrison used the high heel of Layla and a hand from The Miz, as well as weapons including a steel chair and a table to take Benoit out, but Morrison still fell to Benoit as Benoit applied the Crossface on Morrison. Following SummerSlam, ECW General Manager Armando Estrada revealed concern for his ECW World Champion. Elijah Burke was put to face Chris Benoit, and Burke also showed concern for Benoit sarcastically trying to make Benoit vacate the ECW World Championship. Benoit had suffered a concussion at SummerSlam and Estrada didn't want to risk an injury. Three short weeks later at Unforgiven, Elijah Burke challenged Benoit just for the "Rabid Wolverine" to retain the title again. It seemed as though the road for Benoit was getting tougher and tougher. Benoit, his concussion getting no better was getting booked in more often ECW Championship matches, the "Rabid Wolverine" becoming injured with bad ribs as well. Challenges coming from The Miz, John Morrison, Big Daddy V, Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn and many others. Big Daddy V stuck out though, injuring the ribs of Benoit and targeting his title in particular. Estrada was relentless on making Benoit vacate the title, or lose the title but Benoit refused. Benoit teamed with Punk to defeat Big Daddy V and Matt Striker at No Mercy in October, and Punk vowed to never turn his back on Benoit. As the winter came in, Benoit seemed to strengthen a little, and the "Rabid Wolverine" was still the target of many rivals on ECW, now including some fellow fan favorites such as Stevie Richards and Tommy Dreamer. At the Survivor Series, Chris Benoit was teamed with CM Punk as well as the Hardys and Shawn Michaels to take on Big Daddy V, Shelton Benjamin, Mr Kennedy, John Morrison and The Miz in a traditional Survivor Series match, and Benoit was the man to eliminate The Miz from the match as well as cause Big Daddy V to be disqualified (Big Daddy V laying Benoit out with a steel chair), and this allowed Shelton Benjamin to take the pinfall and have a win against ECW Champion, Benoit. This allowed Shelton Benjamin to be poised to challenge Chris Benoit, and the new smart-ass personality of Benjamin caused for him to be striving for gold, even calling himself the "Gold Standard". Benjamin challenged Benoit to a match at Armageddon but John Morrison also got involved, a triple threat ladder match prepared for Armageddon for the ECW Championship. The match could have gone either way, as Benoit was still suffering with injuries over the past five months. Estrada was breathing down Benoit's neck as well, but in this match Benjamin stole the win, and the "Gold Standard" became ECW Champion. Chris Benoit responded by immediately cashing in his rematch clause, for New Year's Day, the ECW Champion Shelton Benjamin happily accepting. 2008On New Year's Day, Chris Benoit challenged for the ECW Championship against Shelton Benjamin in his rematch, and Benjamin took advantage, going after the bad health of the "Rabid Wolverine" and Shelton managed to almost steal the win on several occasions. The match ended up going an outstanding forty minutes (although classed as reaching the sixty minute time limit: sixty minutes being the length of the entire episode of ECW on Sci-Fi), and Benoit was screwed by the time limit draw finish. Instead of being given a rematch for failing to regain the ECW Championship, Armando Estrada placed Chris Benoit in the Royal Rumble match, a thirty man battle royal with the winner facing their brand's World Champion at WrestleMania XXIV. Benoit had to advance by defeating Big Daddy V, finally beating the massive Big Daddy V with a Diving Headbutt, and Benoit was ready for combat. Benoit arrived at #7, eliminating three superstars including Cody Rhodes, Santino Marella and William Regal before being eliminated by John Morrison. Benoit seemed to be re-entering the challenge for the ECW Championship and Benoit was placed in an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out for the ECW title. The "Rabid Wolverine" was given a hard road to the Elimination Chamber match though, as CM Punk was as well: two-on-three handicap matches planned for Benoit and Punk against Big Daddy V, John Morrison and The Miz. At No Way Out it was CM Punk, Chris Benoit, John Morrison, Big Daddy V, Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke for the ECW Championship, and Benoit and Punk started off. Benoit was busted open by the end of it, and both men were fatigued after almost half an hour of fighting. Punk soon nailed the Go To Sleep on Benjamin and it came down to the "Straight Edge Superstar" and the "Rabid Wolverine". Both men had fought for the title seven months before at Vengeance: Night of Champions and here we went again. Benoit and Punk fought back and forth but Punk soon nailed the GTS on Benoit and Punk gained the ECW Championship. CM Punk seemed to be happy about his win, and Chris Benoit offered his assistance to the "Straight Edge Superstar", but lines were severed as Punk suddenly turned his back and left Benoit alone in a tag team match on ECW on Sci-Fi, leaving Benoit against John Morrison and The Miz; a match where Benoit and Punk could have become WWE Tag Team Champions. Punk talked about how he had been kept in the shadows by Benoit, and how now was about him. And as ECW Champion, he was officially better than everyone. The new personality change prompted Benoit, and Benoit fought Punk at WrestleMania XXIV, such a hard-hitting match that was allocated twenty plus minutes of back and forth action, near falls and packed with submission attempts. Benoit soon tried the Crossface but Punk rolled through, the Anaconda Vise causing Benoit to tap in the end. Benoit was not seen after WrestleMania XXIV, instead only in name. CM Punk got himself over on ECW as being a dominant ECW Champion after the amazing match with Benoit. In the 2008 Draft Lottery that took place in June, Benoit was drafted from the ECW brand to RAW, and his return was long awaited. Promos started to appear over the course of the Summer, and everybody wondered where the "Rabid Wolverine" had gone. Chris Benoit returned in September to a huge ovation, as the "Rabid Wolverine" took the position as the fifth man in the Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven. Benoit, alongside Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels challenged for the World Heavyweight Championship seated around the waist of Batista. Benoit arrived last and met with his old rival Jericho, who had now adopted a persona where he thought of himself being superior to everybody else. Benoit almost took the World Heavyweight Championship, but he ended up being the only superstar in the match not to take the title at all in the allotted time limit. Randy Orton walked out victorious as World Heavyweight Champion in the end. In the following weeks Chris Benoit was called out by longtime rival and partner, Chris Jericho, Jericho asking Benoit if he could still go, then sarcastically commenting how Benoit had suffered too many 'knocks to the head'. At No Mercy, Benoit fought a hard-hitting match with Jericho where Jericho repeatedly kicked Benoit in the head, but Benoit walked out victorious as he made Jericho tap in the Crossface. Following No Mercy, Jericho still targeted his former WWE Tag Team Champion partner, and the "Rabid Wolverine" managed to attain a World Heavyweight Championship shot in a match also involving Chris Jericho and the returning John Cena. Cena and Benoit seriously did butt heads in the match at Survivor Series, and Randy Orton felt seriously in jeopardy but with assistance from his Legacy (consisting of Ted Dibiase Jr and Cody Rhodes) he was able to succeed with the win. Benoit teamed with Kofi Kingston several times in the next few weeks, managing to overcome the Legacy and also seemed to butt heads with John Cena once again in the ring. Cena seemed motivated to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Randy Orton but every attempt seemed wrecked by the Legacy. Benoit aided him in one outing at Armageddon, but Cena was unsuccessful still. 2009 In the next few weeks, Randy Orton would comment on the ageing of Chris Benoit, and how he has started to thwart his plans, especially almost costing him the World Heavyweight Championship and making his Legacy look like morons. Benoit fought Chris Jericho in a No Mercy rematch at the Royal Rumble, and the match would involve Ted Dibiase Jr and Cody Rhodes, as well as Legacy newcomer, Harry Smith. Smith, a wrestler trained briefly by Benoit in the Calgary Dungeon cost Benoit the match and Jericho was victorious, but Benoit was not done. Chris Benoit easily surpassed Harry Smith on an episode of RAW and he was back on the warpath chasing Randy Orton. In February it was once again time for No Way Out, and the "Rabid Wolverine" went into the Elimination Chamber match with hope of becoming number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. A match also featuring the competitive nature of Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, John Cena, Kane and Ted Dibiase. This was a chaotic match, as Benoit managed to eliminate Dibiase and Jericho with ease, but as the match progressed Benoit was brutalized with moves involving the Chamber. Benoit soon fired back though, and made Cena tap to the Crossface! Benoit was going to meet Orton at WrestleMania XXV. And so the road began for Benoit to fulfill his destiny as World Heavyweight Champion on the grandest stage of them all again, but Randy Orton was sneaky along the way. He got Harry Smith, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase to attack Benoit repeatedly, and the "Rabid Wolverine" was diagnosed with another serious concussion, but Benoit was content to ignore it and keep going. Orton however convinced the Chairman, Vince McMahon to put Benoit's career at jeopardy for the safety of the company! Benoit now had to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIV or he would have to retire. An ultimate match at WrestleMania XXIV, Chris Benoit fought his absolute best against Randy Orton, his pride and joy at stake as Nancy and Daniel Benoit watched from ringside in the first row, perhaps to watch Daddy Benoit's career live on and become even more successful, or watch it plunge and disintegrate before their very eyes. Benoit kicked out of not one, but two RKOs and Orton's punt was dodged, but Benoit tried the Diving Headbutt just for Orton to move, and Orton nailed Benoit with a massive punt to the skull! Benoit was unconscious, and the crowd booed as everything slowed down, but Benoit kicked out at two! Orton went for another RKO but Benoit applied the Crossface! Orton struggled and rolled out and nailed the RKO out of nowhere. Orton covered, but decided once wasn't enough, picking Benoit up and nailing a second one for the win! Everything slowed down as Randy Orton celebrated and left, Chris Benoit slowly getting up, and everyone in Texas saluted the "Rabid Wolverine" for over twenty years of entertainment and solid wrestling. Daniel and Nancy arrived in the ring as banners read 'Thank you Chris' and various other celebratory comments, and this was the final farewell of the "Rabid Wolverine. Chris Benoit, amazing wrestler.

Right first off, well done to everyone involved. I know what its like to work on one of these and I hope you all had fun. Shame about the turnout but I expected this and was one of the main reasons I didn't sign up for this one. Anyway onto replies:
Cameron Stone: Real nice booking in all respects. Only match I'm a little meh about is the Nexus handicap match. Having Cena and Orton out was a great twist. The rumble write up itself was good, could have been longer/ more detailed but it didn't need it. Unsure about Sandman as suprise enterant could have picked someone alot better or even Diesel or Booker. I like the dominance of the Nexus, Daniel Bryan's strong showing and the final two. Little unsure over HHH and Sheamus taking each other out so early but I liked it being different as this would usually happen at the end. Overall great write up exactly what I was expected from you, top quality. Could have done with a pic but no biggie.
Jack: I really like the layout the size 1 on the other matches however I'm not a fan of. Great match graphic also. I liked the Sheamus promo however a loss against R-Truth ughh. Would have loved another promo from another competitor but it wasn't needed. I like the booking having HHH come back, good choice to not have HHH and Sheamus as the first two. All good booking but what ruined it for me was the layout. It was hard to read, just put it in paragraphs and it woulf have been great. Cena winning was a good choice.
Shifty: Cool to see you went for different situations and I must say yours seem the more imaginative. A really long and good write up. I do think that you went too far into detail by not just describing the HHH/Sheamus feud but all the feuds around it. All the returns and debuts was a little overkill for me. Some of the write up seemed confusing like if HHH actually apeared at KotR or just his music played. Despite this it was a great read and all well booked.
Winner: Shifty. Although I feel Jack's smaller write up is better in quality of write up Shifty takes the win for two reasons. One the imagination he put into it and all the effort he put into it. It was a close call and some small aditions to Jack's work would have seen him take the win despite being smaller.
AJ: The italics are a little much. I love the table idea. Everyone seemed to beat jobbers apart from Rey. Not sure on some of the enterants like Henry or Riley. I do love Trent being in there though. I hate the layout of the match, why isn't anyone paragraphing. Despite this it was a good read abiet a little predictable with Morrision winning. Maybe could have done a little more around the match but it was fine was it was.
Rated R: Perfectly laid out qualifiers, although I do love the table AJ used the detail was a nice and better touch. Glad you didn't just use jobbers for qualifiers. Ughh Henry again and R-Truth. Loving Ziggler in the final spot. Christian is another good choice although I don't think you need two battle royals. Kinda sucks you didn't put Bryan in though. Loving the build up matches as they were a nice touch. Paragraphs yeh. Lots of good spots in a great write up but another predictable Morrison win.
Winner: Rated R. R's entry was just first class only thing I could pick holes in were the competitors themselves and thats down to personal opinion. No offence to AJ is meant as he did a great write up but he had a tough challenge with both R and Hart in the same match. Its a shame Kevin didn't hand it, would have been an epic match.
Damn you classic division, I would have loved to read some of the entries.
Cenanation: Love the wide graphic, nice layout. Ughh at the Y2J/Rock interaction you really should have wrote that up. Seems really basic to me. Not sure about just throwing him into a match this could have easily been elongated over a period of shows. The match write up was nice but seemed far too short. Mr. Ass coming out seems random despite the mention of him being his SS oppenent. I do like the booking though, Jericho going over is great and does great for his career and the interference keeps Rocky strong. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like you lack knowledge from this period which has led to a quick dash entry. I appauld you for giving in but this could have been done fairly quickly.
Duaner: I like the simplistic layout it reflects the old school style. Opening paragraph really gives a good snapshot of the time, every entry should do something like that. I love the tourney ends overseas don't know if that happened in real life but its a nice addition. All the competitors seem worthy of the belt. I like the backstory of the competitors it was just enough without going on and on. A graphic of the brackets would have done much better but its still fine. Ahmed winning?, I really don't like the double DQ happening and just giving the final away to Hart and Bulldog. I'm not a expert of this time so I don't know if this was comman place but I just didn't like it. Good that Bulldog won.
DTP: I f'ing love this. It helped with the stip but you added emotions brillantly into this which I've only ever seen Matt do here on the sims board, shows real skill. Seriously everything was top notch: the backstory starter, the booking and layout. I'm trying to find stuff to say rather than just praise but I'm finding it hard. Booking Beniot strong as a champ with the GM trying to screw him. I loved the head injuries mention all the way though to make this truely epic I would have ended the final match with a Punt then you have this long brilliant underlining story of his head injures come to an end. The matches you booked and wrote sounded awesome as well exactly what WWE should have done if he was still alive like the ladder match and the 20 WM match with Punk, the 40 mins match with Shelton is pushing it though. I see your point but a 30 mins time limit would have done the job. Overall absolutey epic if you ever have trouble for a future diary you got a HOF'er right there if you see it though and expand on it.
Overall: great job guys just some little overall points. I like graphic even if its just one in the entry it helps to break up the text and thus makes it easier to read. Some don't need them I understand that but it does add to it. Paragraphs- I think everyone will see if you try and read a chunk of text its extremley hard to read. Just simply break it up and it makes it so much easier to read. They are really the only two points I see in more than one persons entry. Great job guys you should all be proud to be entered.

Cameron Stone: The build-up was short and sweet which I prefer. A long backstory takes too much out of me and gets me disinterested. This, on the other hand, was excellent and enjoyable and the build-up seemed right. I liked the Cena/Orton stipulation, but I feel that since they lost, the Rumble lost some major starpower. Good to see this as a 'young' rumble with a lot of the new generation stars getting time, especially the young Nexus tag team. Didn't like the random Sandman appearance, but it is the Rumble I suppose. The actual Rumble write-up was a bit confusing, but nothing I couldn't follow. Maybe try another format, that would be good. Shocking win for Christian and with Edge retaining the belt earlier in the night, I sense a perfectly set up Edge/Christian encounter at 'Mania! I think you would have handled your opponents if they handed in, as this was pretty solid Cam. Nice job. 7/10
Jack: First off, great format and absolutely perfect promo from Sheamus. Sounded like he was really delivering it and promos can be hard to write up from time-to-time, but you really nailed it man. Match write up was massive, but I mean, it is a chamber match so that is to be expected. Triple H is the mystery man! WHO WOULD'VE GUESSED?! Sad to see Sheamus eliminated so fast, as it really doesn't give up a major preview of the inevitable Triple H/Sheamus match. Ah, still pretty good though. The action in the match was described pretty well and I really do like how Sheamus cost Triple H the match. That allows them to go at it for 'Mania. Cena winning is also the correct thing to do as a side note. Solid format, solid write-up, solid job. 8/10
Shifty: Wow, this is a monster of a write up good sir. I must say, I don't usually enjoy a long backstory like this, but the way you went about it was awesome. Triple H warning Sheamus and getting into is head is a perfect set up while having the Game rehab still. I like the added snip-its about the other doings on the shows; it adds to the actual story. Triple H 'mick-foleying' Sheamus in the Rumble is the way I'd see it and definitely set up something between the two. I dislike the GM not allowing Triple H to fight, but I'm happy we will see him revealed. Austin as GM is awesome and everything, but I REALLY don't like how Austin is calling Triple H his good friend, as Austin has no friends. And the fact that Austin was afraid because he could get hurt, destroys his bad ass character. Not allowing his 'friend' to wrestle also makes Triple H look extremely weak. Finally, Triple H will get his shot and boy, that was a helluva match man. The ending was insane and maybe too much for PG WWE. Either way, solid match write-up and nothing short of a big pay-off. Loved the paragraph afterward, as its like an epilogue of sorts. Nice job there. 8/10
WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT, BOTH OF YOU GUYS DID AN AWESOME JOB WITH YOUR ENTRIES. I WASN'T EXPECTING LESS, BUT I AM PROUD TO CALL YOU UP AND COMERS ON THIS BOARD. ALL IN ALL, MY VOTE GOES TO SHIFTY, BUT I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS TOUGH. SHIFTY GETS IT FOR THE INCREDIBLE BACKSTORY WORK. NICE JOB TO BOTH.
AJ: Like the creative use of the table definitely and the added tibit of how the participants got into the match was well put. Match seemed a little lackluster than previous MITBs, but I guess everyone has been done really. Graphic was also a nice touch and an interesting choice of guys, Barretta especially. Glad to see some newer faces in there. Kane in there again is kinda lame, I dislike this. Either way, glad to see JoMo finally gain his rightful opportunity at the belt and a great ending with him crashing on the opponents. Decent match write up, I enjoyed it. 7/10
Rated R: Simple yet effective quick write ups of who is getting into the match. Like all the guys you chose and I feel this would be the logical pack of wolves going into the match. Although, I really dislike Kane being in there again as he should be above this. Either way, good set up for a really good match write up. Some spots I really enjoyed, specifically the Henry/Swagger/McIntyre scene where Henry was put into the ladder. Morrison & Christian seemed to be the two that came in with steam and in the end, the rightful man was awarded the win. Great way to end it with the airplane spin and Morrison climbing and looking around at the melee that just ensued. Nice write up and solid job overall. 8/10
CLEAR ADVANTAGE AND VOTE GOES TO RATED R IN THIS ONE. I FELT HIS FORMAT AND BACKSTORY WERE MORE EFFECTIVE AND HIS WRITE UP WAS SOLID. GOOD JOB FROM BOTH THOUGH.
Cenanation: Well, this was poorly executed, plain and simple. I know you wanted to move down after this, but you'll have the Championship match next month, so maybe prepare better. You are clearly a better writer than this man, and I know you could have done better with a bit of research. Not really going to comment, just going to say this. I know you can do better man! n/a
DTP: Man, reading this just makes me want Benoit to come back from the dead man. This was definitely one of the best write-ups I've ever seen, in the fact that it told a great story and a realistic one at that. I could see Benoit go a path like this definitely. Let's get on to the actual write-up; first off, love how Punk vowed to always have Benoit's back, as that would make Punk an even bigger fan favorite. Some intense matches on the ECW brand and Benoit passes the torch to Benjamin, who in essence is a young Benoit if you ask me. A move to Raw would freshen things up and a feud with Jericho would be a great thing. Fast forward to Benoit/Orton at Wrestlemania, what a way to go out for him. I bet this would actually happen, as I doubt Benoit had much left in him. A proper send off is what I wish happened, but alas, we can never have this. Great job Dan, you would have kicked my ass, that's for sure. 9/10

Cameron Stone: Nice job on the show. Nexus beating Cena & Orton was not expected. It makes the Rumble alot less predictable. Natalya winning here was good. I think the time was not that great, a Divas match only last 3-4 minutes. The Miz keeping the WWE Title without Alex Riley makes him look Championshi worthy. Personnaly I do not think that a Last Man Standing was needed. Edge winning here makes him look strong. I like the layout for the Royal Rumble match with the Order Of Entry & the Order Of Elimination. Triple H & Sheamus look to restart there rivalry from last year. Christian winning was unexpected, I would rather have Barrett go to WrestleMania but I see where Christian winning would lead to. [7/10] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jack: The Elimination Chamber PPV seemed good. I like the layout. The Sheamus interview seemed real to me. Sheamus must get what he deserves. for taking out R-Truth this close to WrestleMania. Triple H returning and making Sheamus mad was a nice touch. Triple H not winning was nice as it gives him & Sheamus more time to have a rivalry. Cena winning here to face Miz was my second pick. Great Job. [8/10]
Shifty: The backstory was nice. It explained how the match was made for Mania. The Unsactioned match was a nice touch. Both men were focused to pretty much end their opponents career. The match was entertaining. The aftermath was nice. The Corre taking on Triple H might be amusing. [8/10]
Winner: Shifty -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AJ: I like the table for the qualifying matches. It makes it more presentable & more understandable. Morrison or Kane were most likely going to win. Nice job on the show. Morrison winning was nice, so it could push his career and let him win his first Main Title. [7/10]
Rated R: The qualifying matches were good. I like the 6- man Tag matches. The MiTB was nice. I liked how Morrison won and how it would help his career. I would of also liked Ziggler to win. Either way would be nice. [6/10]
Winner: AJ -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cenation: Nice write-up on Jericho's debut. Made him look like he can battle with the best. Him & The Rock would make a good match. [7/10] -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Duan: Good Job! I liked the write-up and the presentation. The matches had good detail in them. The British Bulldog winning was the right call because he is British. Nice Job. [8/10]

Cameron Stone – Pity you had no competition as it doesn’t allow you to truly showcase your ability. The backstory leading into the Royal Rumble was short, but it provided something, which was nice. Miz retaining the gold was wise, and Kane getting thrown off the stage to defeat was solid. I am unsure about HHH returning, especially at number two – it just seems a little cliché. I am such an anti-Christian fan, so his victory is both unrealistic and unsatisfying for me. Overall, this was an okay entry – nothing special, but nothing bad.
Jack – I would have liked to see a more detailed backstory, especially someone with your talent. I thought the return of Triple H was a little too predictable, which is also disappointing. I do like CM Punk eliminating Hunter, and Cena winning is good. The match itself was well written.
Shifty – The backstory is a lot stronger than Jack, which is going to work in your favor. Again, your Triple H return choice is a little too predictable, but executed better overall than Jack. I love the reference to Foley/Orton from ’04. I strongly dislike Austin being revealed as the General Manager. Although you did explain why he chose to be anonymous, it just seemed like a weak thing for him to do. I do like the Sheamus/Triple H rematch at Wrestlemania and it sounds a lot better than the match at least year’s ‘Mania. I would’ve liked Sheamus to win, but Triple H just had to. I hate Triple H going over to Smackdown, but I do appreciate the cliffhanger ending.
I think it is clear that Shifty ousted Jack in this match.

The reason I didn't have a backstory is because firstly I was just booking his return, which, to me meant one night and secondly because it was basically what was going on in real life so I didn't think it needed one. However, I do agree that Shifty's was better and had my more effort put into it, clearly so he deserves the win over me.

Cameron Stone - Nice touch to include results from the entire show rather than just the Rumble match. Cena and Orton not being in the Rumble was a very nice twist that made things much more interesting. A decent format for the Rumble match. Sandman being an entrant was a sweet surprise might I add, Would've been a great mark-out moment. Wished there would've been some interaction between Del Rio and Christian considering that ADR took Christian out back in September. Very pleased that Daniel Bryan had a remarkable showing in the match. Christian winning isn't the best decision in my mind. A solid entry, some faults though. 7/10 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Jack - Pleased that Sheamus took R-Truth out of the Chamber due to my major disliking of Truth. Trips returning in the Chamber is nice, but would've preferred for him and Sheamus to start the match off. Wish we would've seen more than just the return. The match write up was very good and Cena winning is definitely the best decision to go with to set up Cena/Miz at 'Mania. A solid entry, but like I said, I wish there would've been more than just the return. 7/10
Shifty - Like the start with Sheamus' backstory from KOTR to the Royal Rumble. Trips entering the Rumble was a pleasant surprise. Like the 'no contact' ruling as it would certainly make the story more interesting. A great match write up and Trips getting the win was certainly the best decision. Like HHH being drafted to SD!, as well as the feud with The Corre. A good entry, loved the amount of detail you put into this. 8/10
A great job by both of you guys. My vote goes to Shifty because of the detail that expanded beyond just the return. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________
AJ - Great use of the table to show the results of the qualifying matches. All matches seemed very predictable tbh. Baretta and A-Ri being in the match is a pleasant surprise. For something like this, I do wish that the match write up was in paragraphs because of the clustered look it has. Got to say, I absolutely loved the finishing spot with Morrison crashing down onto the other participants. Out of all the participants, really not shocked that JoMo was victorious. 8/10
Rated R - Liked the short descriptions of every qualifying match. Christian being in the match seems odd though considering he's basically in the middle of the Edge/Del Rio feud. The paragraph format really makes the match more presentable imo. Wish there was a better finish then just an airplane spin to Kane and Christian. Morrison winning the match is a good call. Would've been happy with either him or Ziggler. 8/10
Another great job here by both of you. I'm going to give my vote to Rated R because of the short qualifying match descriptions and the paragraphed format. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Cenation - Keeping the set up for Jericho's debut is fine since I'm sure it was hard to think of another scenario. Mr. Ass costing Rock the match is decent as they did have a match at SummerSlam. Jericho getting the victory over Rock is huge for him. A decent entry, but really would've like to have seen more for the No-Preset division. I notice that your always quick when sending in your entries, so maybe giving it a bit more time will improve you entries. Just some advice. 4/10
Duaner - A solid bracket for the tournament. Solid calls in the first round matches, although I would've liked to have seen Owen advance further. Farooq and Ahmed's draw was not a surprise considering the feud that they had back in 97. Bret and Bulldog is an epic finals, and the match being in Germany just added to it. A great 25 minute classic. Bulldog coming out on top Owen costing Bret the title certainly made things more interesting. Love seeing Bulldog as champion. 8.5/10
DTP - No words can express how good this was. You seriously need to pat yourself on the back or something. Benoit's dominance on ECW is something that I would've liked to have seen in real life. Benjamin taking the championship was also great. A 40 minute time limit draw seemed to indy though. Punk gaining the championship in the Elimination Chamber will certainly lead to a match at WM. Surprise that Punk got the victory there tbh. Nice to see Benoit's return to Raw at Unforgiven. Loved his feud with Jericho. Orton retiring Benoit at 'Mania is a shocker to say the least. Got to say, having Daniel and Nancy join him in the ring is something that really got to me emotionally. This would've been the perfect send off for an amazing wrestler. Shame that this can never happen. Damn good job man. Damn good. 9.5/10
Great job from everybody. I loved reading every entry and I can't wait for the next show. Really sorry about not turning in, but you can count on me to turn in for the next show.
