Each episode features the Rookies being mentored by the Pros as they develop their performance skills in front of a live audience. February 23, 2010 | "The Beginning | Ep. 1
The show opens with "Wild and Young" by American Bang playing over the PA System as Matt Striker welcomes us to WWE NXT. The Pros were then asked to come down to the ring. As the Pros were in the ring, Matt then asked the NXT Rookies to come down. The Pros were then told to greet their Rookie. Matt announced that the Rookies have to introduce themselves to the WWE Universe. Barrett, Tarver, Young & Sheffield were booed as the others were cheered. Striker then announced our first match between Heath Slater & Darren Young.
Heath Slater (w) Christian def Darren Young (w) CM Punk by using Sweetness.
As Slater celebrated his first victory in NXT, Darren Young & CM Punk were not getting along, Punk eventually left Young from ringside.

Michael Cole & Josh Matthews now replayed the ending from the Heath Slater & Darren Young and how CM Punk was not happy with his Rookie.
A video package was shown about Wade Barrett.
Matt Striker now explained how the Pros Poll works. The Pros will watch the matches and they can not vote for there own Rookie. The votes are based on these following four criteria's.
- Win - Loss record
- Strength of opponets
- Work ethic
- "IT" factor

As Barrett celebrated with his Pro, Miz tried to give Bryan some advice but Bryan ignored him.

March 2, 2010 | Ep. 2
The show opens with "Wild and Young" by American Bang playing over the PA System as Matt Striker welcomes us to WWE NXT. He announces that tonight will mark the first night, the Rookies will do a NXT Competition. Striker said that all of the 8 Rookies will do a Obstacle Coure. They will have to Run through 8 tires, hop the guardrail, run up the stairs, eat a Hotdog, come back down, do 10 push-ups & run back up the stage. The Rookie with the fastest time will not compete in tonight's Main Event.
David Otunga (w) R-Truth def Michael Tarver (w) Carlito by using Ura-Nage
As Otunga celebrated his victory, Truth came in and congratulated him. Tarver then lost his cool and started to go crazy on the outside.

As we came back, Matt Striker once again told us the rules for the Obstacle Course. He said Tarver was first, Tarver finished at 3:16. Daniel Bryan then finished at 3:02. Skip Sheffield finished at 3:24. David Otunga finished at 2:45. Heath Slater finished at 2:26. Wade Barrett finished at 2:56. Darren Young finished at 3:05. Justin Gabriel finished at 2:34. Matt Striker then congratulated Heath Slater and told him that he does not have to compete in the Battle Royal and the winner of the Battle Royal will face WWE Pro, Chris Jericho right after the match.

hm, hopefully you find your niche with this diary. You definitely have potential, just gotta utilize. First off, the yellow text made me go blind, so please change. A few small spelling mistakes...just need to watch out. Otunga over Tarver makes sense as he should go farther. Slater winning the course was cool and nice job with keeping him out of the battle royal to face Jericho. LOVE YOUR RAW REBOUND DESCRIPTION. Gabriel/Jericho would be sweet and an obvious win for the Ayatollah.
I'd love to see you stick with this man. I would also want to see how you do with eliminations and maybe NOT doing the whole Nexus thing. Solid start.

March 9, 2010 | Ep. 3
The show opens with "Wild and Young" by American Bang playing on the PA System. Matt Striker then greeted the WWE Universe to WWE NXT. Matt then announced that next week willbe our first Elimination. Matt then asked the Rookies to come down for the second challenge. They came down and the second challenge was a Sumo Challenge. The first superstar to fall in the match will lose. The winner of the whole challenge will get Immunity for next weeks Elimination. In the first round of Sumo, Wade Barrett def Daniel Bryan, Skip Sheffield def Darren Young, David Otunga def Michael Tarver, Justin Gabriel def Heath Slater.

As we came back, the second round of Sumo, Wade Barrett def Skip Sheffield, David Otunga def Justin Gabriel. It was now time for the last round, Wade Barrett def David Otunga. Barrett then celebrated his Immunity with his Pro, Chris Jericho.
The RAW Rebound was shown, "Triple H def Cody Rhodes by using The Pedigree".
Justin Gabriel (w) Matt Hardy def Michael Tarver (w) Carlito by using 450 Splash
As Gabriel celebrated his win, Tarver then again lost his cool and started to go crazy outside the ring.

-Nice to see a challenge for the NXT Rookies. I hope that Tarver doesn't get eliminated next week.
-It sucks to see Tarver lose, but I seen it coming.
-Otunga over Slater was fine, not sure on Miz yelling at Bryan to end the show.
-Decent show; some good shows, and you have alot of potential. Keep it up.

KEEP BRYAN IN!!! That's all I ask.
Overall, good show, liked the text color switch, easier on my eyes.
Tarver is a BEAST.
Looking foward to next week.

March 14, 2010 | Ep. 4
The show opens with "Wild and Young" by American Bang playing over the PA System as Matt Striker welcomes us to WWE NXT. Striker told us thattonight we will have our first Elimination of the season. He told Miz to come down to the ring right now. Miz came down with Daniel Bryan following him. Striker showed Miz a replay of when he yelled at Bryan last week. Striker told Miz that his actions cost him his Pro position on NXT. Byan smiled and Matt told him that his NEW Pro will be revealed later tonight. Stiker then told us that our first match will be next.

Heath Slater (w/ Christian) def. Michael Tarver (w/ Carlito) after hitting Sweetness
After the match we see Daniel Bryan in the locker room. MVP entered the room and told Bryan that he is interested in working with him. Bryan then told MVP that he will not let him down.

David Otunga (w/ R-Truth) def. Skip Sheffield (w/ William Regal) after using Ura-Nage
After the match, Michael Tarver took his Pro, Carlito and threw him into the Steel Steps. Tarver took the mic and told the WWE Universe that he quits NXT. Striker got on the mic and told the Viewers that the Elimination will still occur tonight!

-Looking forward to this one. Please push Tarver!
-Sucks he lost here though. Hope he can start winning. He's one I always liked.
-Otunga over Sheffield was the best way to go. Sheffield looks toward elimination.
-When Tarver said he quit NXT, I hope he goes to RAW or SD now or something now.
-Barrett over Gabriel was a good main event.
-Solid show.

March 21, 2010 | Ep. 5
The show opens with "Wild and Young" by American Bang playing over the PA System as Matt Striker welcomes us to WWE NXT. Striker said that tonight the remaining six NXT rookies will compete in a 6-man Tag Team match and the winner will be immune of elimination in 2 weeks. Also the winner of the match will earn a 200 dollar check. Now it is time for our first match of the night between WWE Pro, Matt Hardy & WWE Pro, Carlito.
Matt Hardy def. Carlito after hitting the Twist Of Fate
Carlito was selling the effects of last weeks attack, A commercial was shown during the match.
Matt Hardy celebrated his victory until Michael Tarver came down to the ring and started attacking Carlito & Hardy. Tarver threw Carlito into the ring steps and hit Carlito with a Chair. Matt Striker ordered security to stop him as we went to another commercial break.

As we come back we see security standing around the ring and the stage area. Matt Striker said that our Main Event 6-Man Tag Team match is right now.
Wade Barrett, David Otunga & Darren Young def. Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater & Daniel Bryan after Barret hit Wasteland on Slater.
As Barret, Otunga & Young celebrated their victory, Matt Striker handed Wade Barrett the 200 dollar check. Michael Cole & Josh Matthews signed us off for this week. |
