So a little while ago I was flippin through channels and on nickalodeon I heard what must of been the worst song ever. It was literally the most bland and generic lyrics ever and was badly autotuned. I dont know what it was called but it sucked. Anyway that made me want to make this thread. What is the most generic song you have ever heard?

The band name Nickelback comes directly to mind. Pick a song... any song.

Not the most generic, but Not Afraid by Eminem is pretty bad I'm not afraid, to take a stand everybody, come take my hand We'll walk this road together, through the storm Whatever weather, cold or warm Just lettin' you know that you're not alone Holla if you feel like you've been down the same roadWhat the does that even mean? It's like he wrote the chorus just so it could be played at every sporting event ever.

It was probably that Big Time Rush (s)hit. They make N*SYNC look like Metallica.

Justin Bieber. & I'm being honest - if Bieber wasn't here I would probably say The Jonas Brothers or Nickelback. So much ing blandest in those musicians/bands it's sad.

I fully understand the disliking of Nickelback's catering-to-the-mass-public method, but saying all their songs are the same is stupid. Photograph, Animals, Leader of Men and This Afternoon are all totally different from each other, ranging from radio rock, hard rock, post-grunge rock and stoner/hippy rock. Jonas Brothers, while I admit they do have some talent considering their age, are very generic for their genre, and they don't develop at all. Most disney bands are like that.

Scraped by Guns N Roses is all that I can think of at the moment but there are definitely others.

It was probably that Big Time Rush (s)hit. They make N*SYNC look like Metallica. Yeah, odds are he heard Big Time Rush. For some reason, we're advertising the hell out of that band at work. For the last 2-3 months, they're one of several bands we play on the speaker system in between movies. Really generic stuff. I personally think that Avenged Sevenfold band is pretty generic. Not necessarily the most generic but still. Nickelback is pretty lame as well. There are definitely worse bands out there. Like as much as I love MMA, the main UFC theme song for events is SO damn generic. I think it's called War Inside My Head or something. Just awful, awful, awful crap."TIME TO END THIS SUFFERING! I NEED A MIII-NUTE TOOOO MYSELF! *overly deep, awful demon voice* SO IIII SLIIIIP AWAYYYYY!" Awful. There are lower level leagues like Bellator that have simple tunes to go with their events. And whats worse is that the UFC has used the song for years upon years. Seriously, pick something else already.

It has to be Baby by Justin Bieber.
Edit: Wait, what? I've been warned for trolling? Trolling what?

Big Time Rush. Everything I've ever heard by them is generic, and the lyrics seem to take not effort at all.

I suppose with it's vagueness, anyone can feel they identify with it.

I can always count on you to come to Nickelbacks rescue, you have pretty much the same taste in music that I do! Anyway, I find A LOT of those alternative rock bands to sound very generic and extremely similar. They all sound like they're fronted by 14 year old high school boys. JUST MY OPINION.
