Interesting that the Slaughter figure (made for LJN who was with WWF) is shown over top fallen WWF wrestlers, even with his foot on Hulkster's neck.

Well Found some more LJN junk; Bulldogs bendies? I am sure some of us has seen these Bulldogs. Ricky Steamboat proto black/red tights. This figure is out there some where. Here is the proof. -Piper and Hogan driving some Hoop-dees? -Now the WWF is doing the DOA gimmick with 80's wrestlers? -That Bendie cage looks strange.. I think it's different from the released vers?

The bendies look like potential fued/tag team two packs.
I would love to see more pictures of the catalog those bendies photos were from.

About the Haiti Kid: Long-standing rumor that a sheet was sent out with a coming soon list for series 2 and 3 if you wrote the company in 1985 and 1986 and Haiti Kid was on it. One of my very reliable contacts assures me this exists and I trust him because he's not the kind of person who would make something like this up. Others on the board have confirmed either hearing of it, seeing it, or actually having it interdependently. I have a letter that Hasbro sent me dated from 1993 when I wrote them suggesting they release a line of figures based on past superstars (my list included wrestlers covered in the LJN set who did not get Hasbro figures). The return letter thanked me for my suggestion and offered to sell the Undertaker Mail-Away directly.
About the bendies: If you look closely at Dynamite Kid, he is actually just a molded and modded Roddie Piper. Davey Boy is someone but I can't remember who.

on a side note.. here is another order form I found: This order form was included if you ordered from The Wrestling Ring after they had started to run out of the Black Carded series. It was essentially a last chance order form. When my mother ordered from them for my 4th birthday (birthday in January, she saw that it took a month or two to get there, so they were ordered in October 1990 I believer), the only four black cards they had left were the Big Bossman, Haku, Rick Rude, and The Warlord. That's how I ended up with those four. I'm not sure if they had any others but I remember my mom ordering through the phone and asking for Hulk, Brutus, and the Warrior and being told they only had those four from the ad with King Haku that was posted. I didn't know necessarily what the ad meant or said so I was VERY disappointed that he did not come with crown as illustrated!

Macho Man with yellow wristbands makes me wonder how many pre-prototype prototypes came before prototypes we see on the cardbacks. The Animal chest hair looks different from the cardback prototype also. I think the cardback had black chest hair or maybe darker brown than the one shown above. Even the Beefcake bendie is slightly different from the prototype found on the cardback with all the figures in the large ring. It's odd we never got a Hammer bendie for the Dream Team. I also wonder why companies feel the need to add something a character never had, like Andre with kneepads. Why waste that time even if it is just one figure prototype?

Yeah..I never understood that either about the Andre with kneepads..Orndorff wears them..Where's his at. I always kinda thought that the large Orndorff fig was originally going to be Tony Atlas..and was retooled to be Orndorff..

Found something more pictures, just thought I would share them I just think is SAD AND F/N DUMB that we don't get a KING HAKU figure but the proto shows him as King Haku with the crown, however what makes it worst. His File Card has him with the crown. LAME!!! You can also see the Unreleased wrestlers in the LJN line. They were going to be made. I really don't think anyone of them were made in a proto, besides Bad News Brown. From what I heard from people is that his figure was at the toyfair that year but was givin to that jack CEO of LJN who later started up Jakks. some kid opens bossman on a BLACK CARD for christmas.. KID DON'T OPEN THAT! So if you guys think, who do you believe would have made Or wanted to be made the next series if LJN wouldn't have lost the linet o Hasbro? I would love to see your list for the next 2 or 3 series. Series 7 (1989) Badnews Brown Barbarian Brother Love Butch Luke Smash Series 8 (1990) Arn Anderson (brainbusters) Crush (Demolition) Dino Bravo Marty Jannetty (rockers) Shawn Michaels (rockers) Tully Blanchard (brainbusters) Series 9 (1991) Animal (Legion of Doom) Blue Blazer Earthquake Hawk (Legion of Doom) Mr. Perfect Tugboat w/ hat Series 10 (1992) Bob Backlund Irwin R. Schyster w/ briefcase Jerry Lawler w/ crown Paul Bearer Ric Flair Undertaker w/ hat Series 11 (1993) Diesel Owen Hart Razor Ramon w/ plastic gold Rick Steiner Scott Steiner Yokozuna whats your lineups?

Wow, this is the first time I'm seeing the bendy figures of Magnificent Muraco, Terry Funk, Bruno Sammartino and Tito Santana. I think they all look great!! Here's a nice close-up shot of the prototype Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

I like the detail of the Islander Haku figure better, as with the detail of the Rick Rude released figure. Wonder why they did a plain tights prototype of Rude? Maybe to get it out before it was released. Haku might have been the King still while the figures came out or at least just lost it. Strange an Islander version (or post-King version) was released. The 1989 black card had it's flaws like with Andre with reverse strap and Warlord with with short tights.

I wish LJN would have kept going. having Smash,Barbarian for their tag teams would have been huge.I acually had Ax and warlord as a tag team in my fed back i the day. I would have freaked out if a LOD would have been made.
Top 10 unproduced figures. random order. Bad News Brown Bravo Earthquake Hennig IRS Undertaker Flair Barbarian Kerry Von Erich Owen Hart
Top 5 Tag teams
LOD Rockers Orient Express Rougeaus Brain Busters
I would have had lots more fun with these guys.
