I've always been impressed with your writing and this is no exception. I'd like to see more angles and such but I know all that is on the way, this shows much promise for being so young. You have so many options for the future with these characters, I feel, and I cannot wait to see the paths you choose. Really makes me want to get back into simming but that is a whole different story. Use Hunter well my friend!

Quarter-Finalists Are Set!
After two shows of New Generation Wrestling Weekly, only 8 wrestlers are still in contention for becoming the inaugural NGW World Heavyweight Champion. These 8 men are all from different walks of life, with different stories to tell. Perhaps the strongest signs of the early success of NGW are the crowds reaction to these wrestlers already. Here are your quarter-finalists.
Ash: Already earning Ace Bennett's seal of approval, Ash defeated Mac Cox in the first round. The 17 year old impressed with his match, and is looking for gold. Ash has a lot of high expectations to live up to. Will he be able to live up to the hype? Odds: 13-1
Nicky Brown: The break dancer from Florida shocked everyone when he surprisingly defeated Black Cloud in his first round match. Brown is an underdog, and no one expects him to make it much further in the tournament. Brown could surprise people though. Don't count him out. Odds: 40-1
Carlos Estevez: The actor-turned-wrestler, Estevez is very hard to read. After beating Dimitri Smirnov in the first round, Estevez showed that he can back up some of his words in the ring. However, the ego-driven Estevez could see his downfall in his own arrogant persona. Will he be able to control himself? Odds: 21-1
Cole Wright: An instant fan-favorite, Wright won the crowd over with words spoken during the first weekly show. Wright defeated Chris Narcotik in the first round after interrupting Narcotik's mic time. With crowd support, Wright figures to be a major contender in this tournament. Will confidence turn into cockyness, leading to a downfall? Odds: 14-1
Jacob Knight: The former preacher with the golden voice, Knight seems to have a great way with words. He also seems to be very good in the ring, and defeated Chase Bryan in the first round in a great match. Knight's goal is to rid NGW of sinful tendencies. A good first step in achieving this goal would be winning this tournament. Odds: 11-1
Bart McClure: After winning his first round match and gaining a measure of revenge for a previous loss against David Church of Country Thunder, McClure sets his sights on the NGW World Heavyweight Championship. McClure seems to have some clear anger issues, and could very well not be able to control himself during matches. Odds: 30-1
Kyle Matthews: Despised by the fans, Matthews has shown off his lavish lifestyle to the world. Beating Danielson London in the first round, Matthews shows that perhaps money is an advantage when it comes to wrestling. Matthews is no doubt going to be very hard to defeat, and could very well win the whole tournament. Odds: 7-1
Samael Ahriman: A strong, silent type wrestling, Ahriman is the dark horse in this whole tournament. Disposing of Kevin Craig in the first round, Ahriman showed that he has all of the tools to becoming the first NGW World Heavyweight Champion. There is, however, the factor of being an unknown factor in this tournament, which could either be an advantage or disadvantage. Odds: 17-1
Which of these men will become the first ever NGW World Heavyweight Champion? This field of 8 will soon become a field of 4 as the NGW World Heavyweight Championship continues on New Generation Weekly #3. All four quarterfinals matches will be featured, as the road to crowning a champion continues!
New Generation Wrestling Weekly: Card #3
NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Quarter-Finals Ash vs. Kyle Matthews
NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Quarter-Finals Jacob Knight vs. Cole Wright
NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Quarter-Finals Samael Ahriman vs. Bart McClure
NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Quarter-Finals Carlos Estevez vs. Nicky Brown
8 Man Tag Action! Danielson London, Matt Lewis, Dimitri Smirnov, and Chase Bryan vs. Mac Cox, Black Cloud, Kevin Craig, and Chris Narcotik

Callin' it right now; Mac interferes in Ash's match so Kyle wins, Kyle cheats over Samael, Estevez goes banana sandwich on Nicky, Wright v. Knight probably match of the tournament with Wright over Knight, Wright ends up over coming Mr. Keep On Winning, and then loses the Tournament to Matthews because Kyle cheats to win and then we have our big heel and face and the ensuing feud. CALLING IT NOW.

I was just putting in my two cents hahah, any way that Ace decides to take this will be awesome. I'm just saying what I would have done, still pumped to find out if I was on point.

Love how Wright's looking right now. Also like the write up for him as well. The write up for both shows are nice. Hopes that Cole wins the tourney.

New Generation Wrestling: Show 3
Attendance this week is up slightly up to 52, which is a good sign that the fans are interested in the product. The new official song "Last Man Standing" by Pop Evil hits as the show gets underway. The crowd is excited as Cole Wright opens up the show.
Wright: Well, hey everyone. I really don't want to be out here, but management told me to come out here and talk about my match with Jacob Knight tonight. You see, I'm one who likes action more than talking. I would rather just have my match with Knight, no words spoken. I don't understan-
Wright is interrupted by none other than Jacob Knight himself. The crowd boos as Knight enters the ring.
Knight: Oh Mr. Wright, you are just like the rest. You, my friend are full of sin. Just like all of these people here tonight. The thing is, you think way too highly of yourself. Tonight, you will be snapped back into reality by myself. I will do my best to cleanse you, but you are clearly unwilling.
Wright: Bring it.
The crowd cheers as Wright drops the microphone and gets ready for the match. A referee comes down as this huge match opens up the show.
Cole Wright def. Jacob Knight in a Quarter-Final Match in the NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament after hitting the Just Wright Great match to kick off a good night. Wright and Knight both wanted a spot in the semi-finals badly and it showed. In the end, Wright was able to shut Knight up and hit the Just Wright to advance. Following the match, we go backstage where we see Ash with his mentor, Ace Bennett. Ace is trying to psyche Ash up for his match tonight.
Ash: I'm not sure if I can do this, I mean Kyle Matthews is really good. Not to mention really sneaky.
Bennett: You can't think like that Ash. If you weren't good yourself, I wouldn't be here. You don't give yourself enough credit. Everyone thinks you are all hype. Prove to them you aren't.
Ash: What if I am all hype?
Bennett: Just believe you aren't, you'll get through it. Trust me, I know.
They continue to talk strategy, but it is unheard, as the next match is about to kick off.
Samael Ahriman def. Bart McClure in a Quarter-Final NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Match after hitting the Serpent's Temptation Match of the night. Ahriman is quietly showing that he is perhaps the best in the ring in NGW. McClure also looked good, but it wasn't enough and he fell to the Serpent's Temptation. Ahriman raised his arms in the center of the ring to celebrate, and the wrestlers in the next match made their way out to the ring.
Mac Cox, Black Cloud, Chris Narcotik, and Kevin Craig def. Chase Bryan, Matt Lewis, Dimitri Smirnov, and Danielson London after Cox hit Smirnov with the Syracuse Drop II. A decent but cluttered match featuring the people who lost in the first round of the tournament. All men got a chance to shine, but Cox really stood out. Narcotik will also be one to watch too. Cox won the match with his tribute to Ace Bennett, the Syracuse Drop II on Smirnov. Following the match, Kyle Matthews makes his way out to the ring, to extreme heat.
Matthews: Did ya miss me?
The crowd boos loudly at this sarcastic statement.
Matthews: I don't get why you people don't like me, but like someone like Ash. All he has done since coming into NGW is ride the coattails of Ace Bennett. I don't need Ace Bennett to be successful in NGW. You wanna know why? Because I have money, and I can buy success. Ash, you wait until you are in that ring without your "mentor." Then we will see who really is the favorite in this tournament.
Carlos Estevez def. Nicky Brown in a Quarter-Final NGW World Heavyweight Championship Match after hitting the Tiger Blood. A very good match, with the underdog Brown showing he belongs. Brown is one of the most over faces in the company, and will be a good upper midcarder. However, Estevez was too impressive and hit the Tiger Blood on Brown to advance.
A video hyping the debut of Buddy Thomas plays. Thomas talks about how he is ready to come to NGW and perform for the fans and show he is worthy of being under Ace Bennett's teaching. Thomas will be debuting next week, the crowd seemed bored, but liked the video. The main event is up next!
Kyle Matthews def. Ash in a Quarter-Final Match in the NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Match following interference from Mac Cox. A great match. Ace Bennett wasn't at ringside, to the request of Ash. Ash showed he could fight on his own when he had the upper hand throughout the match. Ash went for the Ashes to Ashes, but while the ref's back was turned, Mac Cox ran down and hit Ash with a steel chair. Matthews was able to roll Ash up and get the cheap win.
Following the match Cox entered the ring and hit the Syracuse Drop II on Ash. Ace Bennett came out, and stood on the ramp, clearly disgusted by the actions of Cox. Cox was telling Ace that he did it for him, so he can have Ace's mentorship all to himself. The show ended with Cox standing over the limp body of Ash. [/font]

I'm loving the push your giving Ash even if he got elimanated from the title tournament. Although I thought Ace was like a mentor to all the students so I'm not sold on the idea of Ace being Ash's personal mentor cause I can see why Cox is mad. The interference was a good idea and now starts a feud between Cox and Ash. I can see Matthews being a top heel in this. One little layout commen is that I'd start a new paragraph for each new thing. In most parts you have things merging together. All in all it all looks great thus far. Just don't be tempted to jump staight to PPV shows as its unrealistic for a bunch of newbies. Good luck and please keep this up.

Another great show. Matthews is being built up amazingly. Cox interfering is a good idea, as it really adds to the feud of him and Ash. Can't wait until the next show.

Maybe its just me but its a bit overkill having tourney matches every week, hoping you give it a week before the final to build up to it more. Matthews has been built well and should go through to the final. I like Estevez but can't see him winning. The tag match sounds fun but the "Da Funky Fresh Boyz" sounds very jobber-ish. Felt you could have kept one debut match till next week. I can't wait to see how you book Tambourine prob a jobber. Good luck and keep this up.

New Generation Wrestling Weekly: Show 4
The show kicks off in a very similar fashion as usual. The crowd is up to 66 people this week. Surprisingly, however, it isn't one of the semi-finalists who is coming out to the ring to speak on their match tonight. It is one of NGW's newest wrestlers who is debuting tonight, Buddy Thomas. Thomas gets on the mic and begins to talk.
Thomas: Hello everyone. As some of you may know after being here last week, I am Buddy Thomas. I've come out here to talk about my debut match against Black Cloud. Black Cloud is seen as someone who will do whatever it takes to win, and is not really a good guy in general. I would like to think I am the exact opposite of that. I will not cheat, I am not going to use dirty tactics, and I am here for you, the fans.
The crowd cheers, now knowing that Thomas is a face.
Thomas: But I am here to make an impact. I will become champion very soon, even though I am not in this tournament due to my apparent amazing timing. Whoever wins that tournament better watch their back.
Thomas plays to the crowd a bit, before the first huge match of the night kicks off, to the excitement of the crowd.
Cole Wright def. Carlos Estevez in a Semi-Final Match in the NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament after hitting the Just Wright What a great way to kick off the show in a great match. Both men looked strong, but Wright was just able to outlast Estevez after countering the Tiger Blood and hitting the Just Wright to advance to the finals to the jubilation of the crowd.
The crowds cheers soon turned to boos as after Wright left the ring, Bart McClure and Chris Narcotik make their way out to the ring. They both have microphones in hand as they begin to speak.
McClure: We have come out here to officially protest our treatment in this company. Myself and Mr. Narcotik over here are two of the greatest men to step foot in this ring, and we are being mistreated.
Narcotik: That's right, Mr. McClure. We are sick and tired of being overlooked. We have done nothing but put on great match after great match since the inception of NGW. But this won't be happening for much longer.
McClure: Couldn't have said it any better myself. We are issuing New Generation Wrestling a warning. Now that me and Mr. Narcotik have joined forces, there will be no mercy until the two of us are given the respect we deserve.
Narcotik: We are the present and future of NGW. We are the Stampede Outlaws.
The newly named Stampede Outlaws leave the ring, a look of confidence on both of their faces to a chorus of boos. The next match gets underway as soon as McClure and Narcotik leave the ring.
Black Cloud draws Buddy Thomas following interference from Devonte Jefferson This match was very good until the interference, actually. Thomas showed that he could back up his words earlier in the night and Cloud showed his first signs of being a competitor within the company. With Thomas in control, Devonte Jefferson ran out to the ring and planted both Cloud and Thomas with a chairshot to the back, causing a no contest.
Following the match, Jefferson was screaming out, claiming that this was how things went down where he was from. He awaits both Cloud and Thomas to get up. He then hits first Cloud, and then Thomas with a Superkick, leaving both men down on the mat. Jefferson looks at his dirty work and then leaves the ring. Both men had to be helped out before the next match could start.
Country Thunder (David Church and Matt Lewis) def. Da Funky Fresh Boyz (Nicky Brown and Danielson London) following the Raleigh Rush from Lewis to London The newly formed Funky Fresh Boyz put on a solid outing, especially Brown. It wasn't enough though, as the experience of Country Thunder was too much for the newly formed duo. Crowd was a little disappointed that Brown's team lost.
Following the match, none other than Kyle Matthews came out to the ring. He probably wants to say something. Just a guess though. The crowd boos to the point that Matthews can't talk.
Matthews: Shutup would ya?!?!
The crowd boos louder.
Matthews: Thank you. I'm out here to address the ever mysterious Samael Ahriman. For some reason, you guys have taken a little bit of a liking to the guy. I don't understand why you don't like me. I mean, I am so much richer and better than you.
A chant of "Matthews sucks" starts.
Matthews: Well since I have money, I can afford to buy backup. Ahriman, you may be the new favorite since putting on such a great match with Jacob Knight last week, but I can deal with you. I have money to do it. You have been warned. I will be the first NGW World Heavyweight Champion.
The crowd, showing abhor towards Matthews, boos as he leaves the ring. Another debut match is next.
Mac Cox def. Tambourine following the Syracuse Drop II Not much of a match. Tambourine is too out there to be taken seriously. He tried to get the crowd to clap along with his musical beats he made in the ring, but they didn't. Cox dominated and really highlighted his craziness of Ash being the man Ace Bennett is mentoring. He ended the match pretty quickly too.
After the match, Ash himself ran out to the ring. Cox was prepared to fight, but didn't realize what kind of intensity Ash was going to bring. Ash soon got the upper hand in a brawl and hit Ashes to Ashes on Cox, and getting in his face talking about costing him his match last week. Ace Bennett came out to the ring and held Ash back from doing further damage, and even helped Cox to the back after the match.
The entrances for the next match were next. Kyle Matthews came out first, to his usual reaction, boos. Loud ones. Matthews stretched in the ring as Samael Ahriman came out, to his biggest pop ever. However, soon after Ahriman started walking to the ring, he was ambushed by Bart McClure and Chris Narcotik. Ahriman was taken down by the duo, and then thrown into the ring, where the ref was forced to start the match.
Kyle Matthews def. Samael Ahriman in a Semi-Final Match in the NGW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament after locking in the Crossface McClure and Narcotik proved to be vital in the victory of Matthews, staying at ringside following the beatdown they issued earlier. Ahriman was not squashed here though, and really fought for a spot. However, whenever he got momentum, either McClure or Narcotik would trip him up, allowing Matthews to gain the upper hand again. Ahriman was forced to submit when he lost strength trying to hit The Serpent's Temptation and Matthews locked on the Crossface.
Following the match, McClure and Narcotik threw Ahriman from the ring and celebrated with Matthews. The Stampdede Outlaws are now a threesome, and Matthews gloated to the crowd, telling them how Ahriman was warned. The crowd leaves pretty unhappy, even though they were entertained. It will be Kyle Matthews vs. Cole Wright for the NGW World Heavyweight Championship in two weeks.

Thomas is a suck up, have him get his ass kicked! And the first match was nice, glad Wright's moving on. Good promo for the outlaws, which is a simple but nice name btw. Excited to see what they do in NGW, I see big things. Jefferson kicking ass at the end of the match was awesome! Although I think it would have been better to have the superkicks happen first, then the chairshots. Interesting happenings between Ash and Cox, good thing going. Ah, I see the outlaws are already at it, I like their new member. Excited for the title match, I'm rooting for Matthews! Keep it up, sir.

Matthews continues to be in god mode. Love the idea of him running a stable, it really adds to his gimmick. I also love the name Stampede Outlaws. Can't wait until the next show. Great job on this Ace.
