Ranking the Top 25 Fighters UFC Should Sign Next2011 has already been a big year for the UFC, Strikeforce, and the world of mixed martial arts. The two companies have had some of their biggest events ever and have some even bigger ones on the horizon. As the battle between the UFC and the rest of the MMA world rages on, us fans look on as games are played with the rosters. While fighters like Dan Henderson and Fabricio Werdum left the UFC in 2010, the UFC recently absorbed the WEC while bringing in top fighters of their own like “Kid” Yamamoto and Jake Shields. Though the UFC is by far the most talent-filled roster in the world today, there are places for improvement. As the biggest promotion in the world, the UFC is constantly looking to supplement their existing roster while taking a piece from a competing organization. This list of the top 25 fighters the UFC should sign next is kind of a “dream” list to some extent as there is no way that the UFC could afford to bring all of them in, but it is also a breakdown of some of the world’s best talent outside of the Octagon. Cole Konrad? Ben Askren? Joe Warren? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
But, the top 10 list is the obvious. Although I would switch Mo with Mousasi.

The top 5 are a "gimme", but it's an interesting list. I don't think they should sign Henderson again (...he wouldn't beat the top LHWs - and as you say, it looks good for the UFC that he couldn't win a title there). I'd love to see Bigfoot signed... I've got a feeling Dana White is a fan of his, so will probably sign him at the first opportunity. And if Fedor/M-1 came crawling on their hands and knees to the UFC, part of me hopes they tell them to right off.
