Glad you had R Truth defeat John Morrison at the Pay-Per-Vew, I could see Truth being thrown straight in to the main event scene, maybe a feud with Cena somewhere down the line, but a solid US title run might be best for him first. Regal vs Danielson is somewhat of a dream match for me, despite it already happening, but on PPV, I'm sure it'd be great. Glad that Bryan retained the title and that Regal shook his hand after the match, when he eventually loses the United States Championship, I'd love to see a Bryan/Regal team. Great finish to the Rhodes/Mysterio match, glad you had Rhodes go over, gives him a great deal of momentum, he is by far my next big thing in WWE. Insane finish to Diesel vs HHH, not sure if they'd be able to get away with that in the PG atmosphere but it really added a lot to the match. It was right for Lawler to beat Cole, thankfully, this feud is finally over and the commentators can return to calling the action. Punk winning the cage match is great too me, Orton has become the most stale, and boring character in WWE for me, so how the feud has went in real life has been disappointing. Fantastic, Cody Rhodes getting involved in the WWE Championship match, an alliance with Miz or just throwing his name in to the title scene? Miz getting another month with the belt is great, though I see Over the Limit being his final night as champion. Putting the title on Kong straight away is hit and miss with me, I think she's amazing, but it just seems odd to do. She's going to have an awesome run though, and will probably do amazing things with Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix. I really enjoy both guys in the main event match, so I really didn't mind who won the championship. Nice to see you going the other route though with Del Rio winning, he'll be a grand champion for Smackdown.
Pretty awesome show, Elliot, if I had paid for this PPV, I'd feel I definitely got my moneys worth.

Monday Night Raw; May 2nd, 2011 Instead of opening up to a recap of WWE Extreme Rules like the usual post-PPV Raw, we open up to a quick video package highlighting the terror of the 9/11 attack. It shows the devastation that was caused by these horrific events, and clips of then-President, George Bush saying how they will find who did this and take them down. We are shown a few clips from the live SmackDown episode which was the first public assembly after the attacks, and shows the WWE uniting the nation. We are then taken to yesterday, where news channels are reporting that the most wanted man in the world, Osama Bin Ladan has been killed. We then cut to ringside.
At ringside, former WWE ring announcer, Lilian Garcia is in the ring and sings the national anthem to a huge pop from the crowd. We then fade out to the Raw opening.
The pyrotechnics explode as we are taken to ringside where the commentary team of Josh Mathews, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross is sitting, welcoming us to the show. They say that tonight is very special, because not only is it The Rock's Birthday Bash, but the nation is united once more. They tell us that later tonight, The Rock will be arriving to celebrate his birthday with the WWE Universe. We see a shot backstage of a little party area where superstars such as Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, Santino Marella and Booker T are standing. We are then taken back to ringside where we hear the theme of the WWE Champion, The Miz to a huge amount of heat.
The Miz comes out alongside Alex Riley and boasts to the entire world that he has defeated John Cena for the second time in a row on Pay-Per-View, once again retaining the WWE Championship. He says that now John Cena has no more rematch clauses up his sleeve, Miz can finally move on, and what better time to start a new chapter than in the dawn of this wonderful news. He says how he feels proud to be American tonight, but then says the atmosphere has to be ruined... by The Rock. He says that The Rock hogs all the spotlight by celebrating his birthday on live television and taking over a whole Raw in dedication to him. Miz says that tonight should be about him, because he's the big story after winning last night. Suddenly, he is interrupted by the theme of Christian to a huge pop! Christian comes out and tells The Miz that while he did defeat John Cena, he seems to remember him needing help to do it. Miz says he doesn't know what Christian is talking about and that Christian has no place interrupting a Champion, since he lost his chance last night at Extreme Rules. Christian says that The Miz is right, he lost his chance to become World Heavyweight Champion, but he was pleased to have gotten that chance, but since The Miz thinks he's such a big shot, why doesn't he defend the title against Christian... tonight! The crowd go nuts but The Miz backs out of it, saying that he won't be doing no title defending tonight. Just then, the theme of Wade Barrett hits, and he is still using the theme of The Corre, but has his own titantron now. He enters the ring and says that Christian needs to step down from his high horse because he doesn't deserve a WWE Championship Match. He says if anyone deserves a title shot, it's him, simply because he had to spend months alongside three pathetic superstars on SmackDown who were simply holding him back from success. He says that The Corre was a complete disaster, and that he wishes he had never formed the group. He tells The Miz that he wants a title shot, but once again, The Miz backs out. They are then interrupted by the theme of Rey Mysterio to a huge pop. Mysterio speaks his mind, saying that while both Christian and Barrett are tough competitors, he feels that a WWE Championship Match should really be earned, and therefore, he is here to suggest a #1 Contenders Match - tonight! The crowd pop as Mysterio says it should be Rey Mysterio vs. Christian vs. Wade Barrett for a shot at the title at WWE Over the Limit. Miz looks on, without saying a word as both Christian and Wade Barrett look at each other, seemingly liking the idea. But just then, a final theme hits, and it's the theme of CM Punk, who comes out alongside Mason Ryan. The ring becomes clustered, but CM Punk stands out from them all, saying that a #1 Contenders Match isn't necessary, and that is simply because... he won last night, nobody else did. He says that Rey Mysterio lost for the second time to Cody Rhodes, while Christian lost to Alberto Del Rio. Punk mentions that Wade Barrett wasn't even on the live card, so therefore that only leaves him with a victory over Randy Orton in a Steel Cage Match, which should virtually make him the #1 Contender anyway. The four men argue while The Miz and Alex Riley stand back and watch. Just then, the Anonymous Raw General Manager e-mails in and Jerry Lawler gets up to read it. He reads "Guys, this is getting slightly out of hand, so I'm going to settle this with an idea that Rey Mysterio mentioned. But instead of a Triple Threat Match, it will be a Fatal 4-Way Match! It will be Christian vs. Wade Barrett. vs Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk - tonight! All for a match at WWE Over the Limit against The Miz for the WWE Championship." The crowd pop as the four men look at each other. The Miz speaks up, saying that it doesn't matter which one of them wins, because in the end, he will walk out of Over the Limit as the WWE Champion. Because he's The Miz, and he's awesome! The Miz leaves the four of them in the ring as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
We return to see the commentators hyping up The Rock's Birthday Bash, going on tonight, and that The Rock will be here later on. Jerry Lawler drops in that Michael Cole isn't here tonight, and that's because he has officially quit the WWE after losing to him last night at Extreme Rules. They seem over the moon about that as we cut to the ring.
Intercontinental Champion Jack Swagger def. Chris Masters in a non-title match. Swagger was pumped after winning the title from Kofi Kingston on SmackDown this past Friday. Chris Masters put up a valiant effort against Swagger, but in the end, he was unable to defeat the All-American American and fell to a Gutwrench Powerbomb as Swagger claimed the victory.
Jack Swagger celebrated with his Intercontinental Championship, clearly elated that he was finally Champion. We then cut backstage.
We see Scott Stanford alongside former Divas Champion, Eve to a pop. He asks her what happened last night in the Battle Royal. Eve says that she's never seen anything like it before, and that Kong is one of the biggest divas she has ever encountered. Probably the biggest. She says that there was just no stopping her, but tonight, she is cashing in her rematch clause, and she hopes to find a weakness and take back what is hers. She leaves and we cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Divas Champion Kong with Vickie Guerrero def. Eve to RETAIN the Divas Championship. Once again, Kong unleashes destruction, but Eve felt the full brunt of it tonight. She tried to take the huge diva off her feet, but unfortunately, Kong is just too strong. After been swatted aside after a dropkick, Kong nailed what we now know as the Implant Buster and covered Eve for the victory.
Kong held the Divas Championship high like it was some sort of toy as Vickie Guerrero raised her other hand. Vickie made gestures that Kong is the future of the divas division. We cut backstage to see various divas looking on at a television screen, an extremely worried look on their faces. We then fade to a promo package.
We see a promo package for this Friday's SmackDown, hyping a World Heavyweight Championship celebration for Alberto Del Rio. We then return to Raw.
We see John Cena walking backstage, apparently ready to come out and speak. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
The theme of John Cena hits as we return and he comes out to a huge pop. He enters the ring and then speaks about how last night he lost to The Miz, but yet again, it was due to outside interference. At WrestleMania it was The Rock, but now it's Cody Rhodes. Rhodes' name gets booed simply for being mentioned. Cena says that he doesn't know why Rhodes did what he did, costing him the WWE Championship. He says that he wants Cody Rhodes to come out here and explain why he interfered last night in his match with The Miz. The theme of Cody Rhodes hits to a ton of heat. He comes out wearing a suit, and a black towel over his head to cover his face. He enters the ring, shoving cameras out of his face. He comes face-to-face with Cena, and Cena asks him why he did it. Rhodes replies in his croaky voice, saying he warned John Cena for making fun of him. He says that he warned John Cena that bad things would come if he made fun of him, but he didn't listen. Cena says he didn't make fun of him, he just told him how ridiculous he was being with this whole mask thing. He tells Cody that his face looks fine, and that this whole 'ugly' thing is in his head. Rhodes doesn't respond. Cena takes the towel off of Rhodes' head and says that he doesn't need it. Almost as soon as the towel hits the floor, Rhodes lunges at Cena, hitting him with rights and lefts. Rhodes pummels Cena, but then we hear the theme... of The Rock! The crowd erupt as The Rock runs to ringside. Rhodes stops attacking Cena and comes face to face with The Great One. Rock just stares at him. Rhodes turns around in anger, only to be lifted up by John Cena and then planted to the canvas with an Attitude Adjustment. Rhodes rolls out of the ring as John Cena and The Rock come face-to-face. We see John Cena mouth "Happy birthday" with a smirk on his face as he leaves to his theme. The Rock watches him leave as we fade to a promo package.
We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing on May 22nd, 2011. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
We return to see The Rock still in the ring. He speaks, saying that it feels good to be celebrating his birthday in the WWE and with the WWE Universe. He says that firstly, he wants to congratulate Jerry Lawler for ridding the WWE of Michael Cole, something he's been trying to do for years, but it seems that the constant bullying wasn't enough, and all it took was a much needed ass-whoopin'. He says that while tonight is his birthday, he doesn't want to take light away from the work of the US Navy Seals who took down the most wanted man on the planet just last night. A "USA!" chant breaks out as The Rock nods his head. He says that tonight is a time for the world to be united as one. He says that with that said, he is going to go backstage and celebrate his birthday with all his WWE friends, and he will be seeing the WWE Universe very soon. He does his signature "If you smell" line and leaves to his theme as we cut to a video package.
We see a quick video package of some celebrities saying "Happy birthday" to The Rock. We then return to ringside.
John Morrison def. Drew McIntyre A great match between these two men, who have fought before over the Intercontinental Championship. The match came to a close when John Morrison got McIntyre down and managed to hit the Starship Pain for the win.
John Morrison celebrated with his Money in the Bank briefcase, but the celebration was cut short as R-Truth showed up and brutally assaulted Morrison. Truth clearly wasn't done with him, even though he won last night at Extreme Rules. Truth shouts at Morrison, telling him they aren't finished as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Backstage, we see the Big Show and Kane to a huge pop. Big Show tells Kane that it feels good to be back on Raw, and it's where he feels home. Kane agrees, but then says that they will wrestle on SmackDown this Friday for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Show tells him that this time, they're going to win, because there will be no Wade Barrett, and no Ezekiel Jackson to help them out after they split up. Kane smiles and nods his head. The giants then make their way towards ringside for a match.
Big Show & Kane def. Dolph Ziggler & Curt Hawkins A random teaming, without a doubt, and it showed. Big Show and Kane plowed right through the odd pairing, finishing them both off with a Double Chokeslam, and Kane pinning Curt Hawkins.
Big Show and Kane celebrate their victory as we fade backstage.
We see a party area we were shown earlier, and The Rock walks in to a huge pop, and applause from the superstars. Rock thanks everyone for coming and says that this is one of the best birthday's ever. He is approached by Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov, who say they are a huge fan of his work. Santino says he knows all the lines to The Scorpion King. The Rock is pleased to hear he is such a huge fan. Rocky comically edges away from the duo, before walking into Triple H to a huge amount of heat, but the nostalgia gets a pop. The Rock and Triple H just stare at each other as the whole room goes silent. Not a word is said as Triple H simply leaves once more as The Rock looks on. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
We return to see Scott Stanford alongside the WWE Champion, The Miz and Alex Riley. He asks The Miz if he has any predictions for tonight's Fatal 4-Way Match. Miz says he really couldn't care less, because he will retain his WWE Championship no matter what. Stanford then asks if he feels threatened by the former World Champions such as Rey Mysterio and CM Punk. Miz says the key word there was "former". The Miz is a one-time WWE Champion, and that makes him greater than Ric Flair, because it means he hasn't lost it as many times. He says that he will be the longest reigning WWE Champion in history, and nobody can do a damn thing about it. He walks off as we cut to ringside.
Rey Mysterio def. CM Punk with Mason Ryan, Christian & Wade Barrett to become #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. The WWE Champion, The Miz and Alex Riley were on commentary for this one. The match kicked off with Mysterio and Christian teaming up against Barrett and Punk. However, Barrett and Punk didn't last long as Barrett attacked Punk, clearly getting back at him for taking over The Nexus. The action was all over the place, until finally a clear opening was seen. Christian launched himself over the top rope, taking out CM Punk and Mason Ryan. This allowed Rey Mysterio to hit Wade Barrett with the 619 followed by a Torpedo Splash from the top rope for the victory.
Rey Mysterio celebrated to a huge pop, now knowing that he was going to Over the Limit to face The Miz for the WWE Championship. The Miz stood up and sarcastically applauded Mysterio. Mysterio pointed at him, warning him that he was coming for the WWE Championship. We fade to a close on a shot of The Miz and Alex Riley leaving with smirks on their faces as Mysterio looks on, ready to take his title.

-Relatively similar promo to how the one started off this last Monday. Should be a solid FFW Match tonight. -Swagger needed this win. Hopefully you bring prestige to both him and the IC Title. -Kong going over again was the better call. Can't wait to see her face the likes of Natalya and Beth Phoenix. -A Rhodes/Cena feud, could bring some great benefits to him definitely. Can't wait to see where that goes. -John Morrison over McIntyre was bascially to revive Morrison's loss. Though I don't see him doing anything special here anymore. -Mysterio going over is very original. It's great to see something new for the WWE Title here. -A pretty good show.

Really looking forward to the Rhodes vs Cena feud, It's going to be tough to realistically put Rhodes over Cena on Pay-Per-View, but I hope you find a way to do it. Mysterio vs Miz at Over The Limit is a nice original match, I somewhat hope it's only a one off match between the two and that Miz retains the championship. Solid Raw, Elliot, laying the foundations for Over the Limit.

Sorry for such a late reply.
Glad to see Truth go over. Hopefully, he moves up into the title picture. Wouldn't mind seeing him or Morrison with the title. Disappointed to see Bryan retain. I knew he was, though. I would like the see Regal maintain his spot in the mid-carder title picture. Cody winning is good. I can easily see him moving up on the roster. Possibly to a title picture feud. Love the fact that Triple H won. I also love the manner in which he won. Don't know where you're going with Triple H. He clearly isn't well. Happy to see Lawler get the win. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Cole, though. Would've preferred to see Orton get the win. Like the fact he took out Otunga. So happy Miz retained. Rhodes coming out was a surprise. Hopefully, he wins this feud with Cena or at least puts up a decent fight. This feud is going to do wonders to his push. So happy to see Kong, here. Glad she won the title on her debut. Would've much preferred Christian to get the win. I knew Del Rio was going to take it, though.
Overall, really good show. It clearly looks like the younger talent movement is in full swing. Happy to see Cody move up.

WWE RAW: Monday 2nd May 2011...Like the mention of Osama Bin Laden's death, and the expected National Anthem. Where's The Rock? Wonder when he will arrive. Liked The Miz in the ring to kick off the show, explaining what happens now he's retained the WWE Championship again. Christian's interruption was fine, Wade Barrett I just don't know what he is like in the main event scene on RAW. Not after the demotion from RAW main eventer to SmackDown midcarder. Rey Mysterio's involvement was nice, and CM Punk too? I'm loving it. Looking forward to the fatal four-way main event, even if it is a little too like the RAW main event from this show. I can expect that the pay-per-view Fatal 4 Way is long gone now then. I'm hoping Mysterio gets the title shot. At least you're not overwhoring out the Rock segments. Jack Swagger retaining Chris Masters is acceptable, weak opening contest though to get the WWE Intercontinental Champion over. Would like to see some originality, we've seen Swagger and Masters fight before on SmackDown several times. Kong retaining the WWE Divas Championship was obvious. Eve will never be able to stop her. Vickie Guerrero...wonder if she ends up like the Paul Heyman to Kong's Brock Lesnar. John Cena's promo was nice, interesting follow up with Cody Rhodes' interaction. I want more. Such an interesting occurrence. The Rock taking over the promo was a little odd though. Rock basically promoting more about the USA was nice I suppose. John Morrison beating Drew McIntyre is a good match, glad to see Morrison with the win but I feel like 2011 is finally the year for McIntyre to shine in the WWE. That's awful what you did to Dolph Ziggler. If you want a Curt Hawkins and Dolph Ziggler team, should have kept Ziggler looking like he did as a blonde prettyboy. You take Vickie away from Dolph, now he's jobbing to Kane and Big Show: who are running out of value in the company, may I add. Yes, expected Mysterio to win and a good main event. I liked this show, but wish there was a little more emphasis on the other Nexus members, particularly Mason Ryan who is being built up, yet still did nothing of note here. Not a bad episode. Christian and Barrett will need extra building up for the main event spot really. Also wish there was a little more interaction with Rock, it being his birthday.

This diary is more about my imagination, as opposed to realism.

I for one cannot wait until Miz vs Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship at Over the Limit, and I also cannot wait until John Cena vs Cody Rhodes too, I hope big things are coming for Rhodes after his feud with Cena
Jack Swagger as the IC Champion, really fits well with his All-American American gimmick
Kong as the Divas Champion, she represents the future of the Divas division, so dominant, and I am loving it
Morrison and McIntyre's rivalry renewed, I love it, they had such extremely entertaining matches back in 2009-10, especially over the IC Title, and these 2 could have a really good rivalry since Michaels and Razor Ramon
The Rock-HHH segment brought back nostaglia for me, that is a huge understatement, it brought back such great feelings, I hope they feud somewhere down the line, it would be like Attitude Era all over again
But other than that, great job on RAW, and I cannot wait until Smackdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday Night Raw
Giant block of text to open up Raw I see. Interesting main event for tonight, it seems like Mysterio will win though. Swagger/Masters would be a great match. I'm glad that Swagger picked up the win. Hopefully you put Masters in the title picture. Strange parring with Kong and Vickie. Obvious win for Kong. This Cody/Cena feud should be great, but it's hard for me to see Cody actually beat Cena one on one. Great confrontation with The Rock. Decent Rock promo, liking all the Osama references throughout the show. Good win for Morrison here and hopefully Truth versus Morrison ends at Over the Limit. That Kane and Show segment backstage seemed kind of awkward to me. Random tag team here. Shame that those two have to be fresh meat for the tag team champions, or erm, soon to be. Loved the Rock and Triple H confrontation. Really shocked to only see Rock in two segments, not including his stare down with Cena. Liking Mysterio getting the win. A program with The Miz is fresh and they should be able to put on some good matches. I can tell Christian and Punk will probably start a feud next. I wonder where Wade goes from here. Great show.
