LJN, Hasbro and Jaaks missed a great opportunity. Mattel better not make the same mistake.

I would like him. Especially suited. If they could put ring gear underneath then to birds shall be hit with one stone.

No chance this will ever happen. Not enough of today's Wrestling Action Figure collectors would recognize the name to make it viable.

But I hope they're not going to eliminate all wrestlers whose prime years were before the '80's. unless it's a Harley Race, Billy Graham, Bob Backlund, Pat Patterson and for a stretch - Buddy Rogers and Lou Thez, I think Mattel is going to eliminate all wrestlers whose prime years were before the '80s. Simply because they will not sell in today's mainstream because nobody knows who they are. I'd love to get a John Tolos or Angelo Rocco, hell Ed Lewis and Gene Kiniski would be nice too. How about the Briscos or Bruiser & Crusher? sadly, kids these days don't know those guys and if they did, those guys are pretty plain.

im 28 and i dont know who those guys are... :S and anyways your right, they would be too plain, most of those guys before the 80's were a pair of boots, trunks and a moustache with a name.
The only wrestler in this list i would buy is bob backlund, but thats more or less from his 90's run. i wouldnt know of him otherwise

This is a figure that should happen, but as of now it won't. I think what really needs to be done is insert legends like Goulet, and others that won't sell at 1 per case in the basic line at 10-12.00 they might have a better chance of selling then at near 20.00 a figure.

I would be in favor of that. Did Mattel ever mention giving MattyCollector some exclusive figures? One new figure a month. New headsculpts and reuse body parts just like their He-Man line, might be interesting. The drawback is higher price and shipping costs.

Hmm, that news doesn't bode well for my hopes of getting a Stan "the Man" Stasiak and possibly even Buddy Rogers
