Does anyone have any tips on how to open a mattel basic without damaging the carding? I have grown very found of their cardiing and would like to preserve it once i take the figure out. Does anyone no any tricks or tips? I'd really appreciate it...

I use an x-acto knife to cut the bubble off. That is about the only way I could think of to get the figure off the card without ruining it.
It's a pretty cheap thing to as the knife can be found in the crafts section at Walmart for like $3 and works great. Too bad I didn't think about this when I started collecting since I have a few I had to fix with some glue but oh well.
