He said it yes, but it wasn't shown on TV. He said his promo wasn't scripted and that part was not "written for him" and he got carried away. He said he shouldn't have said it, takes full responsibility, and it would not be on TV.
End of story, no big deal.

And The fact he said it off his own back too, makes him such a ing douchebag.

One particularly bad one was something like "My Japanese girlfriend just broke up with me. Its okay, there's more of them in the sea" Now that's bad

He pretty much described Immortal as a disaster.

I can understand getting carried away when you're talking, but it doesn't change the fact it's a heartless and disgusting comment to make.

Tsunami jokes on Twitter were. Both should not have been made.

Doesn't matter if you're a heel or face, it shouldn't be used in any capacity to draw a reaction. It's just wrong.

They could be anyone in the audience who had family, or friends caught in Japan. So it's an incredibly stupid and heartless comment to make.

he apologise in twitter so I think we just need to forgive him this time Agreed. He apologized, said it was all his fault, and he would be sure it wouldn't air. So I repeat, what's the big deal?

What if at the taping he said "I am the Hitler of pro wrestling, and I will exterminate guys like Sting and Mr. Anderson." However, it doesn't air and Hogan apologises over Twitter. Would that not be a "big deal"? Would that be ok? Fact is, Hogan could have said anything remotely offensive, but that doesn't change the fact that it IS offensive. No one is saying he didn't apologise and people aren't condemning TNA for cutting it from the show. It's the fact that Hogan could be so thoughtless and tactless to say it in the first place, in a public setting no less. I mean, what if TNA did air it? Further embarrassment for the company is not what they need right now.

If it's so tasteless and "disgusting", then just drop the whole subject. If you are that hurt or bothered by this, then WHY are you still talking about it? I'm sure you're not perfect, and I'm sure that you've made a joke about something that certainly wasn't the best time, so why are you crucifying Hulk for it?

I didn't say it was written as part of the show.. In fact, I have already said I understand getting carried away, but that doesn't change what he said at all. I'm not "hurt" by this at all. I'm bothered because it's a tasteless comment made by someone else and it sparked a reaction for that very reason.. And no, I've never gone to a public event in front of hundreds of my fans and made a comment that could literally offend thousands, even millions of people and hurt the image of the company I work for.

You say thousands and possibly millions? You're being generous with regards to TNA's audience. *VERY* generous.

TNA gets 1.5-1.9 million viewers per week, more via DVR. ---- Regardless, Hogan has apologized and it never made air. So, the only people who heard the comment were the 1,200 in the iMPACT Zone. Tasteless comment? Sure, but it won't ever make air.

I don't get when cutting a promo about a stable/group in Pro Wrestling comparing them to a tsunami even comes to mind though...
