Was there any reason why Macho Man Randy Savage wasn't on a team at the 1990 Survivor Series?
Question has been on my mind for a bit and I am hoping some of you guys can help me out with it.

I don't know if any of you guys remember but in the old days of WWE/WWF. The Survivor Series was the pay per view to even out the score or at least end the feud been the two captains representing their team. Randy Savage at this time wasn't even feuding with anybody, the only person he was feuding with at that time was Dusty Rhodes, which ended in Wrestlemania 6 and they couldn't have done that feud over again because Dusty was feuding with Ted Dibiase. Which pretty much left Randy open until wrestlemania 7 in his "Career End Match" with Ultimate Warrior.

Thats a pretty intellectually- disabled answer First of all not everyone who was on a team was involved in a fued it was more so the team captains feuding and they go out and get a team together I see no reason why Savage couldnt be on the Million Dollar Man's team since it was against Dusty and Savage was just coming off the feud Or Savage could have been on the team opposing the Ultimate Warrior since he was about to begin his feud with Warrior Second of all the feud between Dusty and Savage lasted a lot longer than the Wrestlemania 6 bout they wrestled all summer long and it culminated in a match at Summerslam 90 the same night Sapphire was revealed as being bought off by DiBiase and beginning Dusty's feud with him And Savage was technically left to do nothing till Wrestlemania VII because he was feuding with Warrior trying to get a title shot before Savage cost him the Title to Slaughter which took place 3 months before Wrestlemania at the 1991 Royal Rumble honestly unless he was injured I dont think there is any real good reason behind him not being on a team

They could have done:
Warriors: Ultimate Warrior Texas Tornado L.O.D
vs
Macho Team: Randy Savage Mr. Perfect Crush Smash
This would have been more logical seen as Warrior wasn't feuding with anyone on the Perfect team as it were, and Ax was phased out a few weeks later.
I did wonder myself about this topic after watching SS '90, but I did read something about contract renewal around this time and WCW making a $500,000 contract offer which was turned down.

Warrior wasn't feuding with Perfect, Von Erich was and LOD with Demolition. I can see why he wasn't on DiBiase's team as they needed the spot for the Undertaker's debut.

If you remember correctly, Warrior, Hawk, and Animal, were feuding with Ax, Smash, and Crush. They even had a match on SNME, and several house show matches.
