Firstly pwinsider is pretty reliable and this story seems pretty credible. Also, this isn't just about Fit Finlay the middle aged wrestler, he was one of the top producers/road agents in the company. He is widely respected for the work he has done behind the scenes (especially with the divas) and to see him released is pretty shocking. Hopefully its just a Daniel Bryan 'firing'

While it's no loss as far as the actual roster goes, as far him as an agent or trainer goes, it's a pretty damn big one.

It's a shame, he has always done a good job for them.

Gotta be honest, I forgot he was even on the roster. Uhh, you know he did way more than wrestle right?

I hope he goes to TNA. If he does it will probably be in an agent type role but he could still put on a good match.

Hm, crappy reason to release him. It's not like the Guard knew he did the angle. I'm guessing he'll come back and it won't be publicized. I hope he goes to TNA. If he does it will probably be in an agent type role but he could still put on a good match. Knowing TNA they'd make him the newest member of Hernandez's stable.

To be fair hes been slacking a bit these days with the Diva training. I'm sure he will either fully retire or be rehired in a few months, hes someone who seems like a good company man.

Its no big loss. He had a good run a few years back but hes getting too old now. Are you dumb? He's one of the main reasons WWE programming is held together. He trained Trish from nothin and made her a legend. Finlay is a HUGE loss, he does A LOT backstage behind the scenes. Finlay was brought over to the WWE during the WCW buyout. Trish was already an established Wrestler by that point in 2001. i think you are mistaken

That sucks.
I know he was done on tv but he was a damn good trainer and should have done something with Tough Enough..
