I was just thinking back to when BG James was The Roadie from Double J and their angle where it was actually James singing Double J's song "With my Baby Tonight." But I don't remember how that really ended or how he came to team with Billy Gunn.

It was to do with both of their careers going nowhere so Jesse James suggested Rockabilly drop Honky Tonk Man and become partners. Billy smashed his guitar over HTM and joined forces with James to become the New Age Outlaws.

they just threw them together with no plan to push them, but they made themselves big.

I would say New Age Outlaws, Best tag team in WWF history. the new age outlaws are not the best tag team in WWF history . there are lot better tag teams like the hart foundation, british bulldogs, & l.o.d. but the best WWf tag team ever has to be steiners.
