I guess I am not in the minority after all, I would be thrilled if Mattel focused on the 83-91 wwf,wcw era with some key wrestlers from before and after. I understand why the Rock, Stone Cold and others should be in the line, it doesn't mean I am going to buy them but its great that they make it into the line for others who will.
by the way I would buy an iron mike sharpe figure any day.

I would love for them to focus on the Attitude Era. Guys like, Ahmed, Savio, Godfather, Kurrgan, Sultan, etc. And more WCW stars. I just want them to make more stars that Jakks' hasn't already.

I'd say anything before 2004 should be open. I only say 04 because that's when the Eddie they have coming out is from. Though really, only special cases like him should be that recent.
As for main focus. 84-99 would be best. That encompasses the two biggest times for wrestling. Of course, I'd personally love to see some guys from the 60s and 70s and maybe even before. Those should be a little rare though.

Definitely the early 90s. The 70's-80's fans may not agree, but average, hairy, doughy guys won't sell. The next few line-ups should look like this.
Series 7 - Andre, Shawn Michaels, Marty Jannetty, Tatanka
Series 8 - Honky Tonk Man, Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Green Suit Ted Dibiase
Series 9 - Big Bossman, Earthquake, Typhoon, Diesel
Series 10 - Camo Sgt Slaughter, IRS, The Mountie, Razor Ramon
Those line-ups would sell. Agree/Disagree?
