Says the Yankees fan. Last time the Yankees finished under .500? 1992. Since 1995, the Yankees have failed to make the playoffs just once.
I was a fan of the Phillies from the time I was born. From the time I entered Kindergarten to the time I graduated from college the Phils were over .500 just twice. So yeah, I'm enjoying their current success.

But you never have anything but complaints about the team. I'm a spoiled Yankee fan and if they don't win every game and the World Series every year it pisses me off. Not to be whatever, but you should have been so used to how the Phillies were pre-2007 that a Division Title should make you happier than a pig in sh*t.....or are you getting "Yankee syndrome" where nothing is ever good enough because the Phillies are the Yankees of the NL?

Phillies won 100 games last year. I'm happy with that. Do I wish they hadn't got spanked like a whore who stood up to her pimp in the playoffs? Yes, but I'm happy with their season last year. My only bitch about them at the moment is that I'm 90% sure Hamels will walk at the end of the year or the Phils will trade him mid-season so they can ensure they get more than just a draft pick. Also, they really need some bats. That's it.

Would like to add one more bitch about the Phils - Carlos Ruiz. 'Nuff said.

I'm down with Yahoo. As for the stats, I don't really have a preference.

Vlad seems to be doing some serious lobbying for the Yankees DH role, I don't know how I'd feel about seeing him in pinstripes.

Vlad seems to be doing some serious lobbying for the Yankees DH role, I don't know how I'd feel about seeing him in pinstripes. Yanks should have gotten him back before the 04 season instead of Gary Sheffield. Vlad Guerrero going into the 2012 season has no value to the Yankees. I'd honestly rather see the Yankees just make A-Rod the DH and have Nunez play 3rd. I think if they made A-Rod just a DH and he actually stayed healthy since he wouldn't be playing a position that maybe he'd be able to be a valuable hitter again. Nunez has shown some pop with the bat and he's shown that when he plays every day he's a good defender. When he plays once every 2 weeks, his throws to first base are very erratic.

Cashman and most Yankees fans wanted Guerrero, George wanted Sheffield. George got what he want (as usual).
Vlad's an interesting name but he's another year old. Still, he's younger than Ibanez and outperformed him too (even against RHP). If he came super, super cheap...then sure, make him the main DH and just have Jones hit against LHP and sit down Gardner. But, Guerrero in the outfield is pretty scary these days (same could be said for Damon, Matsui and Ibanez).

But, Guerrero in the outfield is pretty scary these days (same could be said for Damon, Matsui and Ibanez). At this point.....between Vlad, Matsui, Ibanez and Damon.....I guess if those are the choices, the best choice would be Damon? I mean, we've got Granderson, Swisher, Gardner, Jones, and in an emergency Nunez has played OF before. So if the entire OF went down, I guess Damon could still play OF better than Matsui, Vlad or Ibanez.....but lineup-wise? I don't know where Damon would go. Damon is a guy who's either gotta bat lead-off, or #2.....nowhere else really makes sense. I think the Yanks are going to go with Cano as the #3 hitter and drop Teixeira to #5. Matsui, Ibanez or Guerrero, you could realistically bat #7 or #8.....I don't see Damon as a bottom of the lineup guy, and I don't want 3 of my first 4 spots being lefties. So I really don't know what they do. In house, the best option, like I said, is Nunez 3rd base and A-Rod DH. Outside of the organization, I have no idea.

Kevin Goldstein had Bryce Harper over Mike Trout, had Matt Moore over both actually Figures. It was hard for Kevin to rank Trout #1 last year, but really he had no other choice..this year I could see why he would have a reason to put Trout at #2 or #3, now let's just see where Baseball America ranks him.

Who cares where he was ranked? He's one of the top prospects in baseball.
If I had my choice, though, I'd choose Moore or Harper over Trout.

I do, I don't like having to use the whole underrated by the media card on players..I'd rather he be known as the best and prove it than not be and prove it.
Weird logic, I know.

Ranked 1st or 3rd, Mike Trout is not underrated. Same with Harper.
