I only survived 30 seconds of it. Horrible. Just horrible. Better get used to it, when Giancarlo is up against the Phillies, you are gonna hear that quite often

According to Tim Dierkes and Ben Nicholson-Smith of MLBTradeRumors.com, the Reds are nearing an extension with Joey Votto that "could surpass $200 million."

Is Ubaldo Jimenez seriously still THAT bitter at the Rockies? First pitch he threw he nailed Tulowitzki right in the arm.

Matt Cain signs 6 year/$127 million extension. Its going to cost the Phillies $140 million to lock up Cole Hamels now.

Hamels will only be 29 and has a record that's above .500 unlike Cain. He's a better pitcher than Cain is IMO. If Cain commands that kind of money, Hamels is bound to get more. Hamels signed a $15 mil contract for this year. Cain is going to average $21 mil more or less. Someone will give Hamels that kind of money. Most likely it won't be Philly unfortunately.

Wins dont mean anything. Only thing that makes Camels more valuable is that hes left handed. Better record? Seriously?

Hulk is the only guy I know that still uses "wins" as the basis of what makes a pitcher great.
Contracts are out of control in MLB. That's an absurd price to pay for Cain, but if they hadn't somebody else probably would have, that's how messed up it is. Evidently the Giants haven't learned their lesson from the Zito deal.

I mean the Giants have a AA offense, and comparing wins to the Phillies offense is just so absurd.
Thats how Hulk rolls though

Wins do matter. I'd rather have a pitcher who wins than a pitcher who loses, but apparently I'm in the minority there.
