Imagine if the Yankees were the team down 0-2 and about to start 0-3? WF would explode. But the Sox are awful right now There is a difference between opening at home against the Detroit ****cats and playing the AL Champs on the road. So much for the Yank going 162-0. I WANTED TO SEE JOSE VALVERDE DANCE THURSDAY AND YESTERDAY! |

I really thought the cubs had that game in the bag. Pretty stoked for Garza's career record breaker. Oh well, Arizona tomorrow, should be a fun game to watch. A 1-2 start isn't the worst thing ever.

Jaime Garcia pitched great today. Glad he was able to pitch a complete game because our bullpen would've blown it if he didn't.

Very nerve racking game. The come from behind victory was very nice also. Also, a crap ton of hits certainly doesn't hurt your chances of winning too much. Haha.

When is Strasburg supposed to return?
And TRW, I was looking in the offseason thread before, and I read you had problems with timing, if your still having those problems, go to sliders, pitch speed and move it all the way left, it makes the pitches seem slower.

So...the Pirates have the Cards today. This should be a good game to gauge if this team's hitting/pitching is for real or if they just got lucky on the road against the Cubs.

Man....what is Terry Francona doing? I just checked the box scores from yesterday and he dropped Carl Crawford down to batting 7th on the THIRD GAME OF THE SEASON?
Didn't he stick with Ortiz batting under .150 into almost June a few years ago? And he drops CARL CRAWFORD down to the 7th spot in the lineup on the third game of the year?

Soriano did pretty nice today, and the Cubs picked up a win.
i'm soooo pleased. And, i'm going on a Wrigley Field tour on friday, that should be fun.
