Up until now I didn't know this happened on the same night as the debut of Y2J. Quite a decent attempt by WCW at countering the WWF I must say. Good shit.

i always thought the Hulk character was rather tired by the mid nineties (and after) I was glad he turned heel and I actually prefer the Hollywood character looking back. not that i don't recognise the impact he had as hulk.
when he returned as a face i wasn't really that interested to be honest. but then, the hollywood character seemed to get less "evil" as time went on anyway.

It was a good way but at the same time, when Ric Flair returned it turned more heads.

Yeah, I was live out in the crowd for that one... Hard to believe that it was over eight years ago.
On a side note, that show (as with all WCW shows in Idaho) were held at the Idaho Center, which is on the outskirts of Nampa, Idaho... But they always said on TV that they were they were coming to us "live from Boise".
