Angle slam/fall away slam/olympic slam, etc. was a mid match move for decades before Angle, Angle makes it a finisher and now no one can use it in the middle of the match? Orton put it to the use in the way wrestlers had been using it prior to Angle. It literally is exactly the same as a Leg Drop, used normally before one guy, used normally after one guy. Simply because you do not wish to address valid arguments does not make them "stupid comparisons". SIGH. You guys just don't understand, do you? Somebody using a DDT = FINE. It has become a STANDARD move. It's no longer a specialty move that one person does. Somebody using a Leg Drop = FINE. It has become a STANDARD move. It's no longer a specialty move that one person does. Somebody using a Big Boot = FINE. It has become a STANDARD move. It's no longer a specialty move that one person does. Somebody using The Angle Slam = NOT FINE. Kurt Angle made the move famous, has been using it for years on-end in the WWE. And is currently an active wrestler in AMERICA. Somebody else using it and having them NOT call it the Angle Slam is a spit in the face to everything he has done for them. Somebody using the Stone Cold Stunner = NOT Fine. Like Angle, Austin made that move famous, and I'm sure nobody would dare using it in current WWE. Somebody using the Pedigree = NOT Fine. Do you think CM Punk would be allowed to use the Pepsi Plunge? NADA. Why? Because it's Triple H's move. Just like the Angle Slam is Kurt Angles. But continue on with flawed logic, stupid comparisons and idiotic comments. Clearly you're too brain-washed by WWE's "Entertainment" to even understand where Kurt Angle is coming from. And how do moves become standard without jumping this bridge you've created? I mean as I've stated numerous times (and as you chose to ignore) the Angle slam was a standard move, then Kurt used it (obviously no one is going to use a guys finisher as a standard move while he's in the company), Kurt leaves and now it can't be standard again? I mean how do you think the DDT became standard? It was just magically went from the most feared finisher to one of the most basic moves? No, it was use, and repetition and that is what makes moves standard, not whining. But please continue with the personal attacks, they absolutely strengthen your case and in no way make it look like you're taking an emotional and bias approach to the subject. Let me be honest, I don't care what company it is, this could be the situation with TNA and I'd still find it absolutely ridiculous, I'm only seeing one person injecting their thoughts on certain companies into this convo and it's you.

I'm not ignoring anything.
Ken Anderson using the Senton Bomb in 2006 WWE wasn't a huge deal because Jeff Hardy only became a huge star in his second run. By this point, WWE had no reason to recognise Jeff Hardy, he wasn't a legendary figure like Kurt Angle was to them. Now? Maybe. As far as him using it in TNA along with Jeff Hardy, maybe Jeff doesn't have a problem with it? That's the big difference here.

Or when Shelton was gone for two weeks and MVP started using the Pay Dirt, should WWE have acknowledged longtime employee Shelton Benjamin each time?
I mean the ink hadn't even dried on Shelton release papers and his finish was already rehashed poorly by MVP. How is that any different?
My point is moves have been reused for decades. Angle doesn't stand above any others and should be somehow excluded from this.

So because Kurt Angle is crying about this is what the problem is, not that obviously every other wrestler realizes the circle of life in wrestling.
To me the only disrespectful thing here is claiming a move that people have used before you were even around is yours, whether they were jobbers or world champions, doesn't matter in my mind. Every other wrestler seems to get this.
Oh Punk doesn't use the plunge because it was destroying his knees, I would not be surprised if the WWE let him do it, it's similar but not the same. Much in the same way the Book-End=The Rock Bottom= The Side-Effect= Whatever the Miz calls his thing.

Especially considering Shelton was only just released.

lolling at the fans who are pissed off. Kurt may not have created the ankle lock, but his version kicks Swagger's shitty version out of that water.
I'm glad Kurt brought up the WWE using his finishes because I'm still laughing at when Mysterio and Swagger stole Angle and Eddie's WM20 finish at MITB.

No reputation being built? Ask any wrestling fan worth his salt to name the first thing that comes to their mind when they hear DDT and they'll say Jake Roberts. I can't think of a move more tied to a wrestler then Jake Roberts and the DDT.

There's only one wrestler using it and it has become one of Orton's signatures. It's not like there's 3 or 4 guys doing it, like there is with the DDT. Seriously, I'm leaving this thread. Reply, and get the last word in if you want, I've said my peace and I'm leaving it at that.

But wrestling moves have always been rehashed. What makes Angle's moves set off limit to others? What has Angle done that wasn't done before hand?
And my point has nothing to do with Angle being in TNA instead of WWE. My point is why should Angle be exempt from this when so many other haven't been?

I've seen Orton do the Angle slam a few times, I wouldn't count that as a signature move. If 3 or 4 guys started using the Angle slam, Kurt would be paranoid as wondering why the WWE is taunting him by using his move so much.

Ok well how do you think these things start, one guy has to start using it, do you think after a guy leaves for it to be acceptable to use his moves everyone must start using them at the same time?
Also Kurt brought up Ken Shamrock in his tweets, he said he never used his move while he was still wrestling, a fact that I disputed. Shamrock wrestled several dates outside of the WWE after his WWF dates while Angle was using the ankle lock, what ground does he have to stand on?
Basically what you and Kurt are arguing is that he is on the level of Lou Thesz in that this move should now always be referenced to him... and I'm sorry that is just laughable.

Now, when Big Show started doing the F5 for a while...THAT was intentional and borderline disrespectful.

I agree the comments are ridiculous and Angle does seem off his rocker a lot of the time. What I find funny though is the same people bashing him to death in this thread will be marking out if/when he returns to the WWE. If you dont like something someone says, it doesnt mean you have to hate them forever. I love Kurt Angle, but he's acting like an idiot. Of course I would mark out if he returned to WWE. Same goes for Jeff Harvey. I know, that is why I said his comments were ridiculous and he seems to be off his rocker. There is no denying Kurt has done some stupid things in recent years. I just think it's kind of silly to call a person a "douche" or a "tool" and then turn around and go crazy when the same guy comes back to your favorite promotion. It's like everything is forgiven and forgotten when someone returns to the WWE. Personally, I would mark out if he cleaned up his life and got healthy, not if he returned to WWE. Same goes for Hardy.

He stole his finish from Ken Shamrock. Pshh... I know, he has a lot of damn room to talk about people using his finisher being that he stole his from Ken. Funny how he failed to mention that though.
