Bc Kurt angle is the first wrestler to ever use the ankle lock.... I bet Kurt honestly doesn't know Shamrock brought it to the WWE. I believe in people respecting other people's signature moves but come on. People in Company A can use moves from Company B, as can Company B use moves from Company A. I say Kurt should start using the Pedigree. |

Orton is defending himself and Swagger on Twitter: Gazza: Everythings been done before as far as 'moves' go in the sports entertainment. I want to thank SCSA for the 'Thesz Press'. And I know for a fact that SCSA got the 'Thesz Press' from Dutch Mantel. Point being, instead of taking offense to someone using your move, consider it a sign of respect. Btw does anyone know what Ken Shamrocks finish was? I believe Jack Swagger used ankle lock outta respect for Ken? |

Really disappointed in Kurt's comments. He's fantastic, one of the best of all time but those quotes were crazy.
Jeff Jarrett's been using the pedigree for years too, and on the basis of what he's saying Robert Roode must've ripped off the Spinebuster, which HHH must've ripped from AA.

Both of his signature moves are actually pretty standard wrestling moves that were used prior to his debut... Besides Orton is right, wrestling is just a cycle, there is practically zero innovation move wise, it's not who did it before you, it's how you put your own spin on it. Take the RKO, same exact move as the diamond cutter, and yet now I don't even think of the two as being all that similar.

I mean, when Orton started using the Angle slam it was kind of surprising...you're like "hey, that's the Angle Slam!" but even still, it's wrestling....moves are copied all the time. It's not that serious
