Entry #1 – My WWE Origin (Monday April 4th, 2011)
This was it. I’m about to my first televised appearance since signing with the WWE. I’d left everything behind in Mexico, but for what? It’s weird, I’ve gone from being one of the most well known figures in the entire country to being someone everyone is staring at and going ‘So what?’ at.
I was voted the biggest Box Office Draw in wresting in the past decade and now I plan to make it two decades in a row in the biggest company in wrestling history. I wasn’t ready to sign for WWE back in 2007 but now I’m definitely sure that this company will do me well. I will become that figure kids look out for and want the masks of.
It’s weird to be the new guy somewhere, back in CMLL I was the guy all the new guys aspired to be but now people are just looking down at me with jealousy. I’m sorry but it’s honestly not my fault I’m being pushed ahead of you. Maybe you should take your finger out and do some work behind the scenes, suck some cock, do whatever it takes for you to get your push and don’t take away from mine.
As I look around in this blank area I can hear the fans filling the stadium with excitement and adrenaline; however, they’re not waiting in anticipation in me for this is the night after Wrestlemania and everyone is waiting in angst for the fallout of after the grandest stage of ‘em all.
It was almost fifteen minutes until show time and I was too shy to go up and talk to the regular WWE superstars; besides, why would guys like Dwayne, John and Randy want to talk to me, a mere rookie? This is a man’s world and it is all for one and not one for all. Everyone is in it for themselves.
I keep re-reading this script over and over again. No talking? Good, my English isn’t the greatest. Acrobatics? Splendid, that’s my speciality. I’m being told to run out there and attack a returning Skip Sheffield? This isn’t really what I’m looking on as the big time but apparently Vince sees something in this guy so maybe this could be a good thing.
*****
I’m so nervous now; Ryan’s out there doing a great job with his insulting promo. He’s getting some minor heat at the moment, or maybe that’s just everyone remembering his Nexus days. I’m being called over to the entrance ramp by Arn Anderson, wow this is intense.
As I walk out down the ramp the crowd start off by seeming kind of confused with what’s going on but now they seem to recognise me from promos and they’re cheering for me! This is nothing compared to CMLL but starting fresh like this... it feels fantastic.
I jump off a hidden trampoline and flip into the ring. I do a few acrobatic moves before sending Ryan flying out the ring with a scissor hold corkscrew type move. I was told not to show off my finishing move so we could keep the fans wanting more.
This went really well, everything went to plan. Ryan gives me a thumbs up from below, signalling that he took the bumps to perfection as I make my way backstage again. The fans seem very impressed with my contribution to tonight’s show and give me a small round of applause.
I get a few nods of approval from Road Agents but a lot of WWE superstars seem to give me the cold shoulder and don’t really acknowledge me. Man, it’s hard to do things right in this world. Should I really have given up everything in Mexico for sh*t like this? We’ll see, I guess.

Wait, is this a POV? It looks like one, not sure how you'll pull it off though. From what I heard Cara doesn't speak much English.

Well, from the way I see it as long as he doesn't talk much to people in person it kinda hides his inability to speak English. The thoughts of Cara are actually in Spanish but they're written in English for obvious reasons.

I liked the first entry, man, I could see this being good. Always interesting to see first person WWE diaries. You kinda make Cara seem like a pessimistic guy, don't know if you were going for that. But keep this up, it could be fun read.
