Entry #1: The Journey Starts Here! [/color][/b][/url]. Apart from the odd trip to Castelia City to do some shopping and sight-seeing, I've spent most of my years happily surrounded by the same relaxed surroundings of the place I call home; Nuvema Town. My happiness, however, hasn't managed to stop me from dreaming of one thing: Becoming a Pokemon Trainer. All my life, I'd heard about how exciting it was to be a Pokemon trainer from my Mom, and all my life I'd hoped and dreamed that one day the chance to become one would come my way. Well today, those dreams were going to come true, as the region's most respected expert on Pokemon, Professor Juniper, left a box with three pokeball's inside for me. As I'm not the kind of person who enjoys doing things alone, I decided calling up my friends Cheren and Bianca on the Xtransceiver and asking them to come and choose a Pokemon would be a good idea. As usual, Cheren turned up promptly, and as usual, he got grumpy when Bianca was late. Eventually, Bianca came rushing up the stairs, and recieved a lecture on punctuality from Cheren like she has a thousand times before. It's not worked before Cheren, so why would it work now? We then selected the Pokemon, with Bianca choosing the fire type, Tepig, Cheren choosing the grass type, Snivy, and myself choosing the water type, Oshawott. Bianca had rushed in before Cheren got a chance to choose, but she had left the Pokemon Cheren had wanted, saving us from yet another lecture from our wise friend. After this, Bianca suggested something that excited me, the idea of a Pokemon battle! Cheren was very sensible, suggesting that the Pokemon may damage my room, but I honestly didn't care, I was absolutely raring to go and try my hand at being a Pokemon Trainer! Bianca argued with Cheren, saying battling makes them stronger, and that quietened him long enough to let me and Bianca have our battle![/ul] |

This is a good start and a nice choice in Oshawott, he trains very well. Could've been a longer entry if I'm honest as you covered the first like two minutes of the game and you don't want to get bored of this. Still, it's very good, I've contemplated doing this many times.

[/td][/tr][/table][/center] Me and Bianca were both pumped after an amazing first time experience of battling, and were surprised at how draining it could be. And how damaging, as Cheren pointed out, as my bedroom was trashed! While I worried about how my Mom was going to react to us having a Pokemon Battle in the house, Cheren healed my Oshawott, and Bianca's Tepig. I was about to say that we should tell my Mom about the room, when all of a sudden Bianca made a suggestion, that I battle Cheren! I was exhausted after the first battle, but Oshawott was raring to go. I knew Cheren would be a bigger challenge than Bianca, but I wasn't sure if I could handle him yet... [/ul] OOC: Sorry for the short entries thus far, just getting used to writing this. |

I'm currently playing this game (training to beat the Elite 4 for the second time) so I'm loving this. Why would you not choose Tepig? He's a beast. Anyway, I will be reading this!

Nice to see you won here, so it should be good to see if you become a great. Not alot of experience with this except knowing one, my fave: Growlithe. But good job, and good luck.

Like the fact your doing the new generation, should be great to see what you capture. And I'm contemplating doing a Pokemon diary aswell! Oshawott is an interesting choice can't wait to see what it has to offer, hope you evolve it to the final stage. Whatever you do pick the green blob  . |
