I was just watching some videos on youtube that had the 80's and early 90's wwf logo. I realized that I miss that logo and I really do hate the sribbled one. Anyone else feel that way?

I really don't.
But I guess most of you do because of the nostalgia it brings you.

I think you can tell which logo I miss...
But yeah, I really wish they would make a new one already.

I actually prefer the scribbled one whether it be WWE or WWF. The old ones were ok but the newer ones are better in my view.

why can they show the old WWF logo but no he scratch one? I never understood that. I believe there were three factors in why the scratch logo was forbidden but not the 1980s-early 90s "block" logo: 1) The timing of the lawsuit. Since the scratch logo was the current WWF logo at the time of the lawsuit, the settlement of the suit specifically named that version of the logo as being forbidden, along with forbidding the World Wrestling Federation from referring to itself as the "WWF" from that point forward (which is why they edit mentions of "WWF" in old footage on WWE DVDs, but they don't edit when someone says "World Wrestling Federation.") 2) In the case of the 1980s-early 90s WWF block logo, I believe Titan Sports actually reached some kind of temporary agreement with the Wildlife Fund in the 1980s that allowed the use of that logo... but whether that's accurate or not, there was definitely something to be said for precedent: Titan used the block WWF logo in tons of products spanning more than two decades, and the Wildlife Fund did absolutely nothing to object. Even if the Wildlife Fund had a right to object, if they allowed the use for more than 20 years, they implicitly forfeited any claim they might have had regarding those initials or that logo. 3) I vaguely remember international business being a sticking point in the lawsuit ... something about the WWF's boom in the late-1990s and growing their overseas business during the "Attitude Era" caused a greater conflict in the usage of "WWF" than had existed before... but I can't elaborate because it's been seven years. The memory is fading.

No I don't hate the current scribbly logo - WWF had to move along with the times as "cutting-edge" entertainment
