Wow just wow, Sherdog might be the big MMA forum, but it certainly isn't the best... Attracts to many retards, what I like in the MMA community here in what I've recently joined, is most of the time we can debate with out someone getting butt hurt. And guys are helpful to me since I've been watching MMA a long time, but just not got the chance to watch as much. It's the best section on Wfigs in my opinion at least. =] They only bad part about Sherdog is there MMA forums, there K-1/Muay Thai, Boxing, training and gear forums are really good. The only things I don't like about this one is it's almost all UFC and Strikeforce, like FEG just recently announced a DREAM BW tournament and no one made a thread.!That's one aspect I wish we could start to fix as well. That part of the boards really needs a shot of life badly. I think some of us are deterred from posting anything because it would likely be just 2-3 members discussing a topic on their own. I'll try to toss a thread on there anyways later today just to see if we can get more discussion going.

Yup, I remember when it was only you, James and I who would stay up at 3:00 A.M. to watch the K-1 WGP. Also though Sherdog is an MMA forum to where this is mostly a Pro Wrestling forum with mostly just crossover fans so we're going have less traffic.

Well as I mentioned, I only know of limited MMA though I've been watching for years. So if you guys want to introduce me to some stuff and can show me as where to watch it, which will be easier since I'm going to be living in the U.S soon.

I watch pretty much all combat sports. MMA, boxing, and kickboxing. While I love them all pretty much equally, I got into Kickboxing early as a kid, and that has since been dubbed my "first love". It seems to be the more exciting of all 3.

It seems to be the more exciting of all 3. I'm the same way but my "first love" would be MMA and my favorite combat sports would be MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing and BJJ. I'm more of a technical guy, I just think there is nothing more beautiful than watching guys like Saki, Dekker, Petrosyan, Buakaw, Hoost, Mayweather, Whitaker, Toney, Pep and even Wlad Klitschko fight. I know as far as striking goes in MMA it's lacking on a technical aspect big but the thing I love is the mash of all styles.

In the U.S. there is a channel called Spike(IDK if there is in the UK) but they show UFC unleashed sometimes so just watch those as much as possible to get caught up, watch old fights online, read a lot and watch a lot of PRIDE !

My first love is (was) boxing - I got into it when I was about 12 and have been a fan ever since... the '80's and '90's was a great time to be a fight-fan. Since the advent of MMA though - particularly in the early '00's, that's taken priority and I now consider myself much more of an MMA fan. I love pretty much all combat sports though.
