Does anyone own this ring that was sold at Montgomery Wards and BEST? I remember getting it back then along with the Blue series Hasbro just put out and I remember the ring was actually pretty nice. I think I still have the sound box some where around the house. It was a carrying case too, but came with no figures. Any info would be great, thanks!

We're gonna need some more info than that. Do you think you could actually describe the ring or the box or something?

In all my years of collecting, I haven't came across one. I'm sure there is one just haven't ever seen it.

I remember one with a sound box, but thought it was one that was a Hasbro ring, just released in a foreign county. France maybe?

I live in England and my hasbro Ring comes with a sound box, still working after all this time ;D It has the following sounds "The Winner..." "Wooooooo" "Break it up!" Crowd cheering "Ohh-unh" Slam "1,2,3" Ding, Ding

Definitely not the UK ring...I have that both loose and in box. It was sold at department stores and I can remember that you could buy the bootleg figures, but they didn't have them at the store that sold the ring. I can remember going into BEST and getting it and thinking how much cooler this ring is than the Hasbro ring I had. Hopefully someone can remember this...I'm sure it was sold all across America at different retailers.

I had 2 of these, got them from Ames dept. stores. They were pretty cool because they were softer then the Hasbro ring and didn't make that "thud" noise. The only problem was because it was also a carrying case the ring poles were removable which made them very weak, I snapped a couple. I don't have the actual ring anymore but I did save the soundbox from one.

THANKS CRIPPLER! That's definitely the soundbox that came with the ring. I wonder if anyone still has the ring? Thanks again for the picture
