Anybody else fans of "Love Machine" Art Barr?
After I read Jericho's book, I figured I had to look this guy up and watch some of his work. And I'm damn glad I did!
Art Barr was one helluva performer, the guy could get a crowd going so quick and it was quite amazing.
Also Barr, the creator of the "Frog Splash," was an incredible wrestler. He was lightening quick, took hard bumps and could tell a story in the ring.
His best match definately was Los Gringos (He and Eddie Guerrero) v. Octagon and El Santo from AAA When Worlds Collide.

I only saw his work when he was in WCW as The Juicer. I didn't really like him too much. Then I recently saw the AAA When Worlds Collide PPV and was very impressed.

Yeah, he was amazing... I was so sad when he died. His match at when worlds collide was brilliant, and I was hoping to see big things from him.

I haven't seen too much of his work. Hopefully they've got some of his matches on Youtube or something. It's a shame that he died much too young like so many others.
On a side note, was it Art Barr that played Jimmy Jack Funk or was that a different Barr?? I'm not really sure.

Jesse Barr played Funk and he's not related to Art.
