Ive always wondered what might of been if Eric had let these guys in too the arena?
Even Hunter and the gang said themselves they had no idea what they was going to do!
if DX had of got in too nitro, be it ticket or invade, how do you guys imagen the situation unfolding?

Well most likely if Eric had let them come in something would have gone down with Nash and Hall most likely, which I would have killed to see lol.
It was a dumb move on Erics part imo not to let them in because it would have given viewers more reason to tune into Nitro, wondering what was going on and what not.

Triple H even said that on the Monday Night Wars DVD, if Eric and WCW were smart they would've let DX drive that tank directly into the arena.

And on the flipside, Vince McMahon should've accepted Eric Bischoff's challenge to a fight.

it was so funny when Bischoff challenged McMahon. Bischoff ripped on WWF sure, but at least he was open and consistant about it. After not even acknowleging WCW McMahon suddenly starts to take shots at wcw with their stupid "DX invasion" thing but then Bischoff challenges McMahon and suddenly WWF goes quiet. Made WWF look like cowards/morons.
nWo > DX Bischoff > McMahon
;D

Triple H is probably right that Bischoff could have gotten some fanscinating TV out of it if he let them into the building, but I'm guessing the TV executives would be the ones dead-set against it. And those guys are the people who really steer the ship (as we saw in '01 when a programming decision basically sealed the death of WCW).
I'm thinking the TNT people would have been furious not that WWF workers rolled into their arena in a tank, but that they brought cameras with them and filmed it for the USA Network, including (potentially) footage of guys like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, while WCW was paying millions per year for the exclusive rights to those guys.
I always thought Bischoff was probably too smart not to realize it would be great television to let DX into the arena, but he also probably thought it wasn't worth the legal or "goodwill" implications if he angered the TNT execs in doing it.
But hypothetically, if they let DX into the arena... I'd definitely imagine Hall and/or Nash would have found their way on camera and probably said something WCW may not have enjoyed. In the process they would have probably caught a bunch of random WCW wrestlers on camera, who I'd guess would smile and laugh (knowing this was an awesome move by the WWF) but probably shied away from actually speaking on camera (remembering how much they like their fat WCW paychecks).

Yeh - but I think the way it turned out - with WCW closing the shutters on DX - made the WCW look really weak - but as someone already mentioned, the network execs would never have let eric let them in
