Now don't get me wrong, i was a way bigger fan of WCW back in the day than i was WWF. I would always watch Nitro and then flip to Raw during commerciales.
I just feel that WCW killed alot of dream matches with terrible feuds. The other day I thought "wow it woulda been cool to see Sting vs Bret Hart"....but then i remember that it happened in WCW and it wasn't very memorable. I feel like they did that to alot of great potential match-ups and now the memories are either forgotten or laughed at. Thoughts?

I can see it being thought that now but probably at the time, you had to do whatever it took to stay on top. Yes and no based upon the time frame.

I dont think they killed anything at all really....I mean sure looking at it Sting vs Bret Hart would be a great match....but in 98-99?? Nah...i would rather see Sting vs Bret around 93-94....There could have been MANY good matches/feuds but WCW/WWF just wouldnt let go of their top talent...Such as these....
Sting(wcw) vs Bret Hart (wwf)
Flair(late 80s) vs Hogan (late 80s)
Steiner Bros vs British Bulldogs
Midnight Express(nwa) vs Hart Foundation
Rock N Roll Express vs The Rockers
Owen Hart vs Dean Malenko/Chris Benoit
Harlem Heat vs New Age Outlaws

i agree with raz2005uk, i miss those days of wcw when legends like the ones mentioned were past it but still had enough to make it interesting.

All I remember about Bret/Sting is that Bret was a little too hard on his bat, which broke in half, revealing styrofoam inside.
