I always enjoyed him. He had a great voice and he would get so into the matches. He did a really good job of putting over the wrestlers in the match. I always enjoyed the classic "one... two... and no!"

I did I thought he was great, in fact Michael Cole tries desperately to emulate his style.

Yes and no... there were too many false finishes where he would say one, two, three, he got him.... BUT NO! He didn't get him... just kicked out. Like every time...

I always hated that when I was a kid. I also hate watching old matches with him commentating now, because he used a deep, really annoying, fake voice. I never really noticed it back then, but now it's easy to catch since he actually talks nothing like that today.

Yeah I love hearing Vince Commentate. Sometimes it got a little corny with some of the things he said but he was still rather enjoyable. I loved when he used that 'scratchy, deep' voice to introduce a top face! I wish he'd stop playing the heel boss and come back and at least do major pay per views or something.

I loved Vince on commentary. The pair of JR, Heel King, and McMahon was great. I hate that the only heel announcer is The Coach and he could never compare to Heel King and Heenan.

He was ok in the early 90s especially with bobby heenan on PPVs - that was hillarious. Bobby heenan taking digs at the hart family and vince trying to make him stop. I think in 97 - he got out at the right time as 3 commentators just became too much.

I liked him as an announcer and I was shocked when he stepped out of the announce booth and started getting phsically involved with the wrestlers. I was very shocked when he accepted that match with Stone Cold a couple of weeks after wrestlemania 14. I remember JR selling it as if Vince was going to die.

I loved him and Heenan....
Bobby: "The Survivor Series, which is gonna be held on November 24 at the Boston Gardens, McMahon.... sold out in less than one hour."
Vince: "No doubt the WWF truly is number one."
Heenan: "That is of course, if some of the fans want to meet me outside in the parking lot at around 3' o clock on the 24th..."
Vince: "How dare you, Bobby Heenan."
Great stuff.

/\ Heenan and Monsoon can not be beaten tho! Heenan : "...(something about a face)...." Moonson "WILL YOU STOP!!" - i loved that ever time! Anyways, yeah i used too like Vince as commentater, As a child i used to collect the sitckers and magazines and was so confused when i found that Jack Tunny wasnt the real owner and that Vince was, I have been lied too all my life

I especially loved when he was in commentary at Judgement Day 2001. Very nice to see him back in the booth.

Yeah, I loved his commentary...
I miss the late 80s/early 90s commentators a lot.

vince had some funny/good lines. i liked him as a commentator. "WHAT A MANEUVER!!!"-when he didnt no what it was called or was too lazy "THE PHENOM!!! of the World Wrestling Federation"-When taker was making his way to the ring. "1,2,3 or a hundred" when Hogn went for the pin after a big leg drop. just a few qoutes i liked. edit** vince is a big part of the excitement of the matches. to anyone who played with figures then (or still do like me lol) i still find myself emulating his voice haha same here.

vince was awesome as a commentater...funny with the corny dialect he used...like "keister" or however you spell it..and especially making someone sound like they were going to win that didnt...
