The year 2010 consisted of the attempted revival of ECW in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. However, many people found it very disappointing with the whole "EV 2.0" and the feuding with current TNA performers. Many of those involved in the storyline and the negatively-reviewed Hardcore Justice have since left the company. Meanwhile back in his home of New York, Paul Heyman sat back disappointed. However, he had the idea of starting something of his own.
After months of making contacts, an ECW fan - now running a casino in Vegas - began talks with Heyman to start up some business. Eventually, the unnamed owner agreed to lend money to Heyman - who promoted "Hardcore Vegas" in January to begin on Saturday, May 7, 2011 for the first weekly pay-per-view event. After several months of contact to get staff and performers, things have come full circle as we are about to enter a whole new era of extreme. Heyman posted on his Twitter page, "This whole business will be about pure f'n passion."

Hopefully you bring in some indy talent instead of having a bunch of washed ECW alumni. This will definitely be interesting though!

This looks great, the current roster looks a little old ECW guy heavy. I think you need some newer guys to add some freshness into there only guy I see is Homicide which fits in perfectly. Hopefully you grow from that roster adding a few hardcore guys like Necro and then other more wrestling based guys. Great graphics. Good luck.

MGM Grand Garden Arena - May 7th, 2011 • A video package plays to kick things off. A green-screened room with the Hardcore Vegas logo on it is there with a chair placed in front. Footage rolls to show Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Rhino, Sandman, Axl Rotten, Ballz Mahoney, Guido, Anthony Mamaluke, and lastly Paul Heyman. The background music of "Awake" by Godsmack is heard clearly as we head into the MGM Grand Garden Arena to the voice of Joel Gertner! He welcomes everybody to the first Hardcore Vegas event - where a brand new era of extreme shall begin here in Sin City! • Paul Heyman comes down to the ring getting a big "Paul E" chant from the near ten-thousand people in attendance. Bob Artese introduces the man who put extreme on the map and Heyman smiles and gets to the ring, getting handed the corded microphone. He thanks everybody for being here over and over again with a little bit of tears in his eyes. He says that years back World Wrestling Entertainment made his creation live once again in ECW. The next year it happened again and he had the vision come once again to bring extreme back and not be shamed like it has been over the past few years. He had the vision to bring back extreme and to bring back true f*ckin' passion to this sport. Bring back the best fans in the world and shove it up anybody's ass who thinks other wise! The arena bursts into an "ECW" chant but Heyman holds them up and says this is not called ECW and never will be as long as he is out of work with - as he says with a sarcastic tone - Vincent Kennedy McMahon, but this is Hardcore Vegas and things are about to get more extreme than ever! He thanks everybody once again for being here and to enjoy the show. He exits the ring and heads up to the announce table with Gertner. • Juventud Guerrera vs Super Loco •The bell goes off and the two men circle around the ring before getting to the middle and locking up. Loco pulls Guerrera to the mat and places him in a headlock before letting him back up. They stare down a bit on their feet and look around the arena before nodding to each other and exiting the ring quickly. They go under the ring and Loco pulls out a steel chair, Guerrerra a kendo stick. They both get in and Loco gives a laugh to the kendo. He swings his chair but it is ducked under and Guerrera hits him in the back of the leg, sweeping him to the mat. He then jumps up and leg drops him before going for the pin and getting just a two count. They both get back up and Guerrera knocks him back to the ropes with shots and whips him off to the others, hitting a huge spinning wheel kick on the return. They get back up and Guerrera hits a hurricanrana that he turns into a pin for just another two count. Loco rolls to the ropes and Guerrera grabs the steel chair and sits it in the middle of the ring. He goes up to Loco but gets kicked in the stomach. A series of shots across the back and a kick to the face. A dropkick that stumbles him back to the ropes and Loco rushes at him and clotheslines him down. He then dropkicks Guerrera into the corner and gets back up. He rushes to the corner and hops on the second turnbuckle and points out to the crowd, asking for a count. He sends down a series of ten punches and gets the "Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez" count. Guerrera shoves him from the ropes and hops onto the second turnbuckle and then the top. Loco rushes up and hooks the head before diving off with a hard DDT! Both men lay out with a "Hardcore Vegas" chant busting out for the first time. Loco crawls over after quite some time and hooks the leg, Guerrera just barely kicking out! Everybody is in shock as the DDT was pretty hard. Loco gets himself out of the ring and searches under the ring and takes out a table. He gets it into the ring and sets it up a little away from the corner. He folds the chair up from early as Guerrera gets up and hits him over the back with it, causing him to fall across the table. Loco lays him out on his back across it and goes to the corner. He ascends to the top turnbuckle and catches his balance before jumping off for a moonsault. Guerrera moves off the table just as Loco comes down and through it! Guerrera drops to the mat on his knees and quickly scrambles towards him, hooking both legs and getting the pinfall. • Guerrera gets to his feet slowly and gets applauded by the crowd. He gives a few taunts on the turnbuckles and goes over to Loco to help him up. Once he is straightened up, Guerrera offers a handshake. Loco gives him a nod and accepts it. The two raise each other's arms up, Loco giving the point towards the victorious man here tonight. We cut up to the announce table where Paul Heyman praises the first match of Hardcore Vegas to be incredible. Gertner agrees and says we have to talk about the big match in the main event of the evening. A classic rivalry in the world of hardcore between Raven and Tommy Dreamer. Heyman reminds everybody that Raven nearly always wins in the matches between the two and it has been personal at times along with just for the hell of it at other times. • The F.B.I. vs The Chair Swinging Freaks •The bell rings as Mamaluke goes at Ballz, Guido at Rotten. They all trade shots back and forth and Ballz immediately grabs the chair he brought to the ring and floors Mamaluke with it when he has the opening. He then takes out Guido as he jumps at him and Rotten grabs his chair as well. They both wait on them to get up, and they do simultaneously. They both swing for them but the F.B.I. duck away and dropkick the chairs straight into the Freaks' faces. They tumble out of the ring and the F.B.I. look to each other on their feet. They look to the crowd who cheers and Guido gives the 'up yours' salute. They boo him as the two ascend the top ropes and dive off, taking out Ballz and Rotten. The duo proceed to get under the ring and pull out a table, setting it up on the floor outside. They take Ballz up and throw him into the table and then onto it. Guido gets into the ring and climbs to the top. Axl gets up behind Mamaluke and clocks him in the back with a chair, dropping him over Ballz just as Guido splashes down through the table. Axl raises his fist up to the crowd and helps Ballz out of the pile. He drags Mamaluke back up and throws him into the ring as he begins to beat down Guido. Ballz gets into the ring and wields his chair up, sitting it in the middle of the ring. He walks up to Mamaluke and hits his series of strikes with just some of the crowd going along with the "Ballz" chant along with it. Ballz then lifts him up onto his shoulder and backs away a little bit towards the corner before rushing and hitting the Nutcracker Suite right on the chair! The arena gives a huge "ooh" at the hard hit as Ballz pulls the leg up for the pinfall victory. • Axl soon joins Ballz in the ring and they high five each other with wide grins across their faces. They go to the corners and climb up them, working the crowd a bit in celebration of their win. They exit the ring and make their way to the back as Guido assists Mamaluke out as well. • As the F.B.I. begin to go up the ramp, an unfamiliar latino rap music begins to fill the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Homicide makes his way out towards the ring, getting some boos from the crowd. He gets to the ring and demands the microphone from ringside and eventually gets as he wishes. He taps the mic a bit before introducing himself to the who he calls "maricones estúpidos" in the building. Not that many people can understand it but those who do give a boo. He says that this business is full of washed up guys who'd like to give their career's another shot. But he's the most hardcore guy on the scene now! More boos and a bit of "you suck" chants form. He says he can prove it against anybody and he's willing to prove it right here and right now. A bass line then kicks in around the arena to what people slowly begin to recognize as 'Enter Sandman' by Metallica. Homicide looks around the arena confused as The Sandman appears in the middle of the crowd opposite-camera side. Wielding a kendo stick and a beer, he bashes the can across his head. He wanders down towards the ring with slaps on the shoulders from many of the people. He hops the barricade and enters the ring stone-faced. Homicide begins to yell at him in Spanish and then asks what the fat boy wants. Sandman reaches in his pocket and pulls out two beer cans. He tosses one to Homicide, who bobbles it a bit before catching hold of it. Sandman smacks his against his own head and drains it. Homicide looks at him and shakes the beer he was given up. He opens it up in Sandman's face and it sprays all over him. Sandman laughs a bit and wipes it from his face before getting stone-faced again and cracking the kendo right over Homicide's head! He continues to fire away viciously and gets him over the back a few times as he exits the ring. Homicide hops over the railing and backs his way through the crowd holding onto his, what has to be red now, back. Sandman continues to work the crowd a bit before exiting the ring and heading to the announce desk, which he climbs up on. He grabs a couple of beers from his pocket and hands one to Gertner and one to Heyman. He takes one himself and once again bashes it into his head before tossing it off to the crowd. He gives a high five to Heyman before heading towards the back. • Masato Tanaka vs P.J. Polaco •The bell sounds as Polaco immediately fires off at Tanaka and takes him out of the ring. He pulls himself out of the ring and throws Tanaka against the ring apron, ring post, and ringside barrier. He goes under the ring and takes a trash can out. He takes the lid of it and smacks it over Tanaka's head. He goes to do it again but Tanaka avoids it and takes it away, hitting Polaco with it himself and bending the entire thing in the process. He takes Polaco and throws him back into the ring. He then takes the trash can and throws that into the ring and then takes a chair from under it. He enters the ring with it but Polaco trips Tanaka down over the can. He takes the chair from him and smacks it across the back a few times before laying it out in the middle of the ring. He drags Tanaka to his feet and hits a hard cutter right onto the chair before going for the pin and only getting a two count. He drags Tanaka back up and dropkicks him against the ropes. He misses a clothesline though and gets dropped with a tornado DDT onto the dented trash can. Tanaka scoops both legs up for the pinfall. • Tanaka proceeds to celebrate his victory with the crowd as we cut to the backstage area. Tommy Dreamer is getting ready for his match later on against Raven when Stevie Richards walks in. He gives him a nod and tells him he isn't going to be joining Raven tonight despite their past as friends. Dreamer says he appreciates that because he'd like tonight to be the best it possibly can. Richards says he knows that he loves to put on a show and he doesn't expect any less from him tonight. He wishes him luck and walks out. • Sabu w/Bill Alfonso vs Rhino •Rhino makes it clear he's heel as he attacks Sabu during his entrance. He throws him into the barrier and ring post before pulling him into the ring. He follows and stomps him down in the corner with shot after shot. He drags Sabu to his feet and whips him off to the other corner and crushes him with a clothesline. He takes him by the foot and lifts him up high before dropping him on that leg. Rhino takes himself out of the ring and takes a stop sign out from under it. Sabu pulls himself up and over the top rope but gets smacked right in the face with the sign and he falls to the floor hard. The crowd gives a boo as Rhino drags up the Homicidal, Suicidal, Death Defying man. He throws him up against the barrier and fires off with a few shots to the head. Sabu fights back with some shots of his own and kicks him in the stomach before tossing him head and shoulder first into the barrier. He wanders towards the ring and takes a chair out from under it. He throws it right in Rhino's face before scooping it back up and doing it again until he backs towards the entrance way. He throws it once more but Rhino manages to stumble out of the way. Sabu rushes at him but is clotheslined hard to the floor. Rhino drags him back up by his hair and takes him back to the ring. He goes back and grabs the chair and makes his way back but gets hit with a dive over the top rope out of nowhere. Sabu lays out as Alfonso comes rushing over, blowing his whistle and checking on Sabu, who manages to get up slowly. He goes and takes the chair again and wraps it around the head of Rhino once he is up, causing him to fall down. A bit of taunting from Sabu before he looks under the ring and takes out a table. Rhino begins to stir and blood drips from his head. He pulls the chair off his head as Sabu sets the table up and he storms over with a knee to the stomach that flips him over. He drags him right back up and throws him face first into the steel post and then places him up on the apron as he begins to bleed. Rhino takes him up slowly and places him between his legs. He looks to the table and brings Sabu up and walks a little bit before jumping off and nailing the Rhino-Driver through the table! A "holy sh*t" chant bursts - possibly the loudest of the night, other than for Heyman - as the crowd is really into this one. Both men are down but Rhino begins to stagger after about a minute. He stumbles to Sabu and pulls him up and into the ring. He takes a chair from under the ring and takes it in, wedging it between the turnbuckles in the corner. He drags Sabu over towards it and backs off a bit. He leans on the opposing side and waits up until Sabu gets up and he charges for a Gore - Sabu manages to move out of the way! Rhino stumbles back as Sabu springboards off the ropes and hits a huge tornado DDT! He gets back up slowly and walks over to the chair, pulling it free. He examines it a bit and it's a little bit dented. He sits it out and hops over Rhino before returning and jumping off the chair and onto the top rope. He delivers the springboard moonsault and hooks the leg up - only getting a two count! He takes the chair from earlier and gets out to the apron and climbs to the top rope. Rhino begins to stir a bit and he dives off with a leg drop on the chair over the back of Rhino! He rolls him over slowly and covers him for the three count. • Sabu gets to his feet slowly well holding his bleeding head and mid-section. Alfonso joins him in the ring, celebrating along with him by raising his arm up and doing the signature taunt. Rhino staggers back up and nails Sabu with the Gore out of nowhere, though! A huge hissing of the crowd as Alfonso blows his whistle and gets in Rhino's face. The War Machine takes him and places him to his legs and nails him with the Rhino Driver! Tons of booing forms in the arena as Rhino exits the ring getting heckled by the crowd with trash talk. • A video package airs showing clips of matches between Raven and Tommy Dreamer over the years. It has some commentary from both men about the feud and some other ECW Originals give their input on the whole entire historic feud between them. • Tommy Dreamer vs Raven •The bell sounds and the two stare each other down. They both lean in the corner momentarily before stepping up and trading shots back and forth. Raven puts a thumb to the eye and rocks Dreamer to the ropes and takes him over with a clothesline. He mounts on him and fires off with shots to the head viciously until Dreamer already gets busted open. He licks his hand with the blood on it, Gertner a little grossed out on commentary. Raven takes him up and throws him up against the ring and hits a few shots to the open spot before kicking him square in the stomach and dropping him with his signature DDT! He drags him back up and throws him into the ring. He rolls in and goes for the pin but gets just a two count. He staggers back up and pulls Dreamer to his feet again, hitting a few more shots. He goes for his DDT again but Dreamer pulls free and clotheslines him to the mat. Raven gets up again and gets nailed once more. This goes two more times until Dreamer tosses him through the ropes and follows after him. Dreamer hits a few more shots before going under the ring and taking out a trash can filled with weapons. He takes a cookie sheet out and tosses the rest of the can in the ring. He smacks Raven in the head with it a couple of times before placing him into the ring again. He follows up and clocks him once more with the sheet. He goes into the can and pulls out a kendo stick. He smacks Raven in the gut and then breaks it over his back, causing him to drop to his hands and knees. Dreamer pours out all the things inside of it and searches through before finding a barbed wire 2x4. He smiles sickly as he raises it up and drops it into Raven's back. He does it a few more times, the crowd giving an "ooh" to each hard shot. Dreamer stands over his back and pulls Raven up, grinding the bat into his forehead. The blood begins to spew slowly as Dreamer grinds back and forth with it. He lets go and tosses the weapon to the corner. He goes back to the outside and searches under the apron again. He stands up and forms a smile across his face and goes back under, taking a bag out. He rolls into the ring and staggers to the middle before opening the bag up and spilling out it's containment - thumbtacks. He walks over to Raven in the corner and grabs him by the hair but gets hit in the stomach with the 2x4. Raven gets up and goes to hit him again but Dreamer catches it by the wire. He pushes it back and gets it to Raven's face, pushing down with force. He gets him to fall against the ropes. He goes to the other side of the ring and picks up a steel chair. He goes over to Raven and hits him in the shoulder with it. He does it a couple more times before knocking him in between the ropes. Stevie Richards suddenly comes rushing down to the ring and he stands behind Dreamer. Raven staggers back up and Richards catches the chair in mid motion. He clocks Dreamer in the head with it and he stumbles to Raven, who hits his DDT right onto the tacks! He rolls Dreamer over as he flops around in pain. Both legs are hooked up and the three count is made. • Stevie helps Raven back up and raises his arm up in victory as the crowd, Paul Heyman, and surely Tommy Dreamer are furious. Some trash gets tossed into the ring as Stevie drags Dreamer back up by the neck and talks some smack before slapping him in the face. Dreamer drops to a knee and Stevie nails him with the Stevie Kick. Raven takes him back up and delivers one more DDT - this time on the trash can. Both men stand up and raise each other's arms up high to bring an end to the first show of Paul Heyman's Hardcore Vegas.[/blockquote]

Paul Heyman's Hardcore Vegas has signed four new performers. Hernandez, Kevin Steen, Kevin Thorn, and Necro Butcher all were contacted amongst many others over the course of the months of the building for Hardcore Vegas. They all informed Paul Heyman they would wait to give their decision after the first show. All enjoying the first show and concept of everything, they have all agreed to open contracts.

Hardcore Vegas: Saturday 7th May 2011...Alright, this seems to be a standard nostalgia promotion, which might not been good. I like the detail you put into it, but the layout is quite passable. Hot opening promo with Paul Heyman getting people hyped up and throwing in some shoot comments at Vince McMahon. Juventud Guerrera beating Super Loco; exciting opening contest featuring plenty of lucha libre. Not a bad start to the show. The Full Blooded Italians and the Chair Swinging Freaks would have been a dire match, and times like these this is why you need to introduce new stars. This promotion will not last while you're living two decades in the past. Simple as. Homicide debuting is nice, and I like his comments about America just to bring himself into a fight with Sandman. Sandman getting the upper hand is obviously best. PJ Polaco is extremely underrated. Wish he got a better match against Masato Tanaka. I doubt Tanaka will be around too long since he also works Japan. Sabu beating Rhino was nice, wasn't bad I suppose. I do understand that this is about creativity, but you should consider some things: are these just live events, eShows, what? Lastly, a decent main event that would draw on its name, but this feud was already concluded at Hardcore Justice. Overall, passable pilot episode, you need to bring in more talented and younger stars; these Originals won't be around much longer if you keep having them in high-impact matches week in and week out. A lot to work on.

Right here we go. I loved the opening promo by Paul E it greatly reminded me of his awesome worked shoot at One Night Stand, Awesome match with Super Loco & Guerrerra. Would have preffered Loco to win as I'd like to see him pushed. Raven/Dreamer = <3, Chair swinging freaks had to go over the FBI so it makes sense. Homicide being a heel and getting on the wrong side of Sandman is awesome. Not a huge fan of Tanaka going over Polaco or Sabu going over Rhino, wish the opposite had happened. Dreamer/Raven was amazing and I loved that feud a crap load so the continuation here is awesome and that alone is enough to get me hooked on this as is the great booking and write ups. You have a reader in me. Keep it up. I also see you've brought in Steen & Necro who I believe will fit in perfectly with this. Well done so far.

- Good way to kick off the first show with Lucha Libre action! - I was gonna say that you should have placed the tag team match somewhere between all the singles matches, but it looks to be fine where its at. - I really dont like Homicide being squashed by Sandman here. It make him look like a joke alone the same line as The Zombie, Macho Libre & even Eugene. He should have been pushed as the new generation of extreme. - Tanaka vs. Poloco seems a bit weird. But I'm glad Tanaka went over, here. - Typical Sabu match here, not much to comment on. - I like that Stevie got involved in the main event. I kin of expect to see Meanie and Nova somewhere down the line. - I understand that this is "HARCORE Vegas" but I just feel that there was a bit too much relying on weapons here.

Good opening by Heyman. Nice opener with the lucha's. Happy Juventud won. Nice tag match. Would've preferred FBI to win, but nothing to whine about. Liked the interaction between Sandman & Homicide. Hopefully, Homicide is going to be one of the company's top heels. Tanaka winning is good. Polaco gets on my nerves sometimes. Would've preferred Rhino to get the win. Sabu's past his prime and needs to retire but he fits well in this company. Good main event. Happy Stevie is with Raven. I really like them together. Overall, I really like the way you write out the matches. The promotion's unrealistic but hey, look at my diary. I find it weird Hernandez is coming considering he's in TNA. The only gripe I have, and it's a small one. I wish you'd make it easier to find out the winner. Like just put, Winner: (Name) I mean nothing big, just something I'd like to see. Keep it up, it has a lot of potential.

First of all, that layout is terrible, in my opinion. Too difficult to read, and there's nothing to change it up such as colour, bold and stuff. I'd definitely work on that.
Down to the actual show, the nostalgia is excellent, I love anything like this. Ten thousand people? Isn't that a bit high for an event that is just starting? But I did love the opening segment. A good lucha-libre match to kick things off, and Juventud winning was the right move. I would have rather seen The FBI win here, but never mind. You will definitely need some new tag teams for a division though, since these seem to be the only ones. I loved the segment with Homicide and The Sandman, classic Sandman offense. A match between the two on the next show, perhaps? Masato Tanaka with the victory here is good, he was always an underrated superstar, but as was P.J. Polaco. Sabu with the victory is great, but I adored the aftermath with Rhino getting his revenge. Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven is a huge Main Event, and a great one to bring the attention to Hardcore Vegas. I was shocked to see Raven win, but with the involvement of Stevie Richards, it did make sense. I think you did a great job here, and once you get some newer talent, I think this will be a successful business.

-Confusing layout, but still looking fotward to his. -CSF over FBI is fine either way. I'm loving the nostalgia between this show right now. -Sandman getting the upper hand on Homicide should be good. I'd like this feud. -Tanaka was obviously going to win this one. Hoping for a decent push for him. -Great brutal match between um, Rhino and Sabu. Wished Rhino would win, but Sabu going over is fine too. -Raven going over is shocking. Nice to see Richards getting into possibly main event status. -Great start. This has loads of potential and I'm looking forward to this.
