I started rewatching wrestling back in 2005, and this was BY FAR the hardest I've marked out since then. Christian's always been a favourite of mine and I've always seen him as someone who I love to see in the ring and I love to hear talk. It feels like everyone else memorable from his era has won the gold, several times in many cases, so the match build up was HUGE for me. Needless to say, tonight was AMAZING. It's moments like these that are what make me a wrestling fan. Some of my buddies really can't see why I care so much about WWE, but you just can't replicate that excitement when a 'superstar' who you've followed since age ~8, whose never gotten what he deserved in his career, is just inches away from that crowning moment. Such an awesome feeling.

Finally it has happened. I jumped up out of my seat and was dancing when he grabed the belt. Im so happy he has finally won it.

Finally, Christian's time has come!!!! Yes FINALLY, was you in the PPV Thread? you should have been in the PPV Thread it was a great night with alot of fun matches. No one Deserves the title more than Christian. I was surprised Vince finally decided to put the title on Captain Charisma. It was a good match by the way. Great Night to be a Peep!!!!!!!

I am so happy for the guy, well deserved. but was I the only one worried that edge was gonna screw him out of the title and grab it himself and walk out. its silly now that I think about it but I thought it was gonna happen.

He was the last guy in the WWE that deserved that belt based on hard work and years in the business. Hopefully he has a long road of main event status ahead of him as he seems to have quite a few years left in him. Tonight he broke the glass ceiling.

Christian has won just about every title now. NWA Title, WWE World Tag Title, ECW Championship, WWE IC championship, WWE Light Heavyweight title, WWE European title, WWF Hardcore title and now the World Heavyweight championship. no one has ever done that. He has the U.S Title and WWE Title to go, then he would of held every recognizable title. |

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Long overdue, and this was exactly the right time. It's always great to watch one of your favourites who you've been watching for 10+ years finally win the big one. What a moment, I legit welled up when he was celebrating with Edge. Simply amazing.
