They lied for our benefit I guess.Ya know to make us happy in the near future Exactly! They knew the board would want it and by saying it was canceled, it brought the hopes down and made the release even more exciting for everyone. It's a psychological thing. If it was shown and we knew it would be released, the suspense would have only lasted a few days, but now, since they said it was canceled, the suspense latest for months. Brilliant move on their part!! I will, however, wait until I see unmasked pics to judge if I'll get it or not as I really want a more current head scan. completely wrong. the figure was actually cancelled. they are releasing it as a direct result of our collective plea and for that they deserve thanks. |

To be fair, do you have any proof of this big conspiracy to pretend to cancel the figure just to make it's release more exciting
If he at least has some painted hair and a current Punk still has not been announced then I will definitely buy it, those trunks are awesome

This is ridiculous, 1/2 of a thread turned into fighting because I say one thing and everyone jumps on me like it's a bad comment. I am sooooooooooooooo sorry I said something bad about your savior and this relic that some of you are worshiping. I seriously can't wait until this is in stock so then everyone can post what they received from RSC, have about 10-15 threads all saying you got it, then it will just be another thing of the past. |

How he is singing Amazing Grace, especially when he says, " I once was lost, but now Im found." The figure was never suppose to come out. The guys from Mattel made it clear. Thanks to our demand on Twitter, Youtube and Facebook, it happened. Shows that Mattel & Ringside wants to please their fans if you ask me. |

That makes it clear they planned on releasing it the whole time but figured it wouldn't sell well in the actual set so they hyped it up on the internet by 'mistakenly' showing it. |

Eh...I was kinda expecting more. I like Punk and all and I know a lot of people wanted this to be released, but $25 for a repaint is kinda steep for me. It was nice of Mattel to release this figure, though, for the people that begged them to release it. No doubt the attention it got here was what made them reconsider releasing it. I doubt Jakks ever would have done something like that for us.

And BTW, the conspiracy theory that Mattel "fake canceled" this figure is just absurd. This is an action figure for sh*t's sake, there was no master plan by Mattel to hype this up. If this figure was just released out of the blue without it being pulled at Toy Fair everyone who's buying it now STILL would've bought it. Be real here, guys.
