Yes, it was going to be a $15 Elite, until it was scrapped for a more updated one. In this thread, we've had people complain about it not being a more updated figure. Now we have people complaining about the price, because it was SUPPOSE to be a regular Elite figure. Do you guys not understand the whole EXCLUSIVE part? As in, this figure wasn't going to be made....at all. Never see the light of day, until the WF community started rallying for it. And now that its ACTUALLY HERE. Now that you have the possibility to own it, which was non-existant as of last week, people are complaining. You want reasons to be excited for it? 1. This figure was originally scrapped, never to be released. So you have a chance to own it now, when it could have never seen the light of day. 2. While it's obviously outdated, it's still a unique look for Punk. For those that collect CM Punk figures, now they have a chance to add it to the collection and cover an important part of CM Punk's 2010 year. 3. For the first time, you have the chance to own an arm sling, fitting of Mattel figures. That may not sound like a big deal, but this is an accessory we've never had. Imagine all the RNN interruptions that could take place. 4. While the price is $25.99, it is in line with the other 2 Mattel exclusives. Rey's price went down eventually, and Kane is also priced the same. Personally, spending the additional 10 to 20 dollars for a figure that was previously never going to come out seems pretty good. I completley agree with you. We're lucky we're getting it.

o really? This is a good point. This is why I can't understand people justifying the outrageous price for a NORMAL ELITE!!! Even if the 2 pack were 30 dollars, it would be worth it. Don't say that because it wasn't going to be released and because it comes with 2 original accessories that 25.99 is a bargain. If you want to nitpick, Legends Vader came with 2 masks and a cape. Elite 7 DX came with hats, shirts, and glowsticks. Goldust came with a robe and a wig. All of these were normal elite prices. Exactly what this outrageously priced Punk, which we haven't even seen the head for, should cost. The same can be said for the Kane. Its basically a repaint of Elite 4, but with a mask added. Whoever has been setting these prices has obviously been hitting the sauce pretty hard.

That is a good looking figure. Odd that there's so much arguing on a toy forum.
