Ever since he left full time, I haven't been a fan. I mean, back when he was running around as champ for long ass periods of time, I hated the guy. But we were supposed to. :-P After all, he was a heel most of his title reigns. But another thing I didn't like at first was he became NWA champion shortly after TNA was created. It was like he never lost the WCW title and was starting all over again. Looking back though, I'd rather have those days compared to what's happened to a great thing waiting to happen (TNA).

I thought he was a decent heel in the WWE but thought he was terrible and unbelievable in WCW...he'll never be a Horseman in my book.
He was too overexposed in TNA..typical being it was his company.
When I met him to have him sign my Big Gold Belt he was rather a dick, while I was extremely polite.
At least I can say my opinion is based on personal experience, as I *wanted* to like the guy being he was signing the belt.

I was a big fan of his back in USWA too and always liked him through the years.
I didn't like how much he held the title for the first few years of TNA, but I understood it. He came from the old school where people screwing you over was something that happened. As the booker, you put the title on who you can trust. Apparently there weren't many people at the time that he felt he could.
But these days he usually just bores me. He's not bad, but his days of being interesting to me seem to be gone. I think i'll blame that more on the booking that the in ring work, though.

I actually think he is one of the greatest heels of all time.

Seeing as he hasn't held the title in years I like him now. I used to dislike him for one reason. He held the nwa tna title more then everyone else combined. Rhino had a very short run and was screwed. The alpha Male was massively over and could have held it even if it was for a month and a half. R-Truth was treated like crap in his last couple years. I think he should have gotten a good 4 month reign. DDP never held the title. I think DDP should have gotten a good 2 month title reign.
I'd have been fine if Jeff Jarret held the title more then any single person. However he held it more then everyone else combined. However since his first face turn in the era of the tna world title and having gave the spotlight to the other guys I have mad props for the dude. Honestly I would have done the same thing if I was him just to a lesser extent.

I actually think he is one of the greatest heels of all time. Agreed. I've never been a big fan of Jarrett but not once have I hated him. To me he is very entertaining...

His WCW Run. He broke a million guitars but never drew a dime. Nice you can quote the Rise and Fall of WCW DVD

I totally agree w/ Monty Brown. The guy was massivly over and instead of getting the title, they turned him heel and he became Jarrett's bodyguard. I think the origional plan was for him to turn on Jarrett and take the title, but once Christian and Sting showed up in TNA, he had no chance.
Rhino definatly should have held the title longer, but he really wasn't suppose to win it in the place. Jarrett was suppose to defend against Nash at BFG, but when Nash pulled out w/ an injury, Rhino was thrown in more as a feel good moment than anything. This was also around the time that Christian signed w/ TNA, and same w/ Monty, Christian was destined to be the #1 face, and not Rhino, though he should have held the title until the next PPV.
TNA used DDP far, far better than the WWE ever did, but I don't think that he was around long enough for TNA to benefit from a title run w/ him. After his title match w/ Jarrett at Desination X, I believe that DDP was only around for about one more month before he left.

Some times he is awful, sometimes he is pretty great. The Owen / Jarret stuff in WWF was really funny and great. His MMA stuff this year was amusing and he played a great coward. The current thing w/ his wife is annoying because Karen is annoying.
