I would love to, even if it was for a few matches, but paying $3000 for wrestling school and wrestling for $50/match isnt a very wise investment. If you pay $3000 to learn how to wrestle you're getting ripped off. Heath Slater trained at WWA4 and it's $1000 for 3 years. It might be 2 or 3 but it's something like that. Plus I'm sure if you work hard you will get more than $50 a match.

Im paying just over $1000 a year for mine. And just starting out, theres no way in hell youll get more than $50.

No, I do ocassionally imagine what it would be like if I had became one but I never really wanted to become one. Too much politics and traveling.

I intend to if I still have all of my body parts and if I'm capable of saving enough money to train in the next few years.

Yeah from year 5 to I think 2009 or something when me and my friends use to do it (not real but fake as well) and then I started to make my own custom belts and I won the title like 3 times and we got bored of playing it!

What wrestling fan hasn't thought about doing it? I'm realistic about it, knowing I won't but I'd love to. Agree every Wrestling fan dream is to to compete in a Pro Wrestling ring. the odds of it happening 1 in 1million.

I did when I was like seven. That didn't last long since I realized that realistically most won't make it. If that didn't kill it then surely the fact that I don't even watch anymore and haven't for a long time would have.

I'm wanting to go to wrestling school after college. I think about it all the time.
I don't know whether I want to actually be a wrestler or a manger, but I will be involved in the business somehow. I just can't see myself doing anything else.

I've wanted to pretty much my whole life, with the exception of a few years where I kinda lost interest in wrestling. Growing up, I wanted in WCW. The first year or 2 after WWE bought WCW, I still wanted too. Then EVERYTHING seemed to get boring on the wrestling scene. Since I got into it again 'bout a year ago, I've started dreaming about it again. Except now, I long to be in a company like the original ECW. I doubt it'll ever happen though

I've wanted to since I was about 5 or 6, then after seeing Wrestlemania 13 its ALL I wanted to do for the longest time, till high school. I was too tied up in snowboarding after that and I'm still thinking about it to an extent, I figure schools more important first.

I have dreamed to be wrestler for a couple years, one of my friends made a wrestling federation and I some times wrestle with him. But thats probably as far as I will go.

I began training but the commute to and from the school was too bad, so I'm waiting until I'm done with college and I'll start again. If you have a school close to you, you should definitely do it!

I've dreamed of it every single day since I really got into wrestling back in late '97 - early '98.
It's the one thing I've ever really been passionate about. I tried football, that didn't work. I tried music, that didn't work. Wrestling has been the one thing that has always been at the front of my mind.
When I was 16, I went up to Canada and did a short training session with the now defunct Power Zone Wrestling. I took the bumps, ran the ropes, all that basic stuff. I was really out of shape back then. After the session I was so worn out that I thought I might puke as soon as I got out of the ring. At the same time, though there was this incredible sense of satisfaction and I just knew inside that being in that ring is what I'm meant for. I sucked it up, helped the crew move the ring to where they were having their show that night and helped them set it up.
I vaguely remember having a conversation with one of the wrestlers after everything was set up. I was sitting ringside watching the guys work out their matches and one of them came and sat next to me. We talked about the training and I remember telling him that being a wrestler is all I want to be and he said something like "stick with it and you'll get there."
I worked security for them that night and lucky for me they had a segment where a wrestler pulled a planted fan from the crowd and brawled in the ring. Me, and the other security guys hopped in and broke it up. I was holding back the wrestler when, all of a sudden I felt him shove me. When I turned around, all I saw was him lock eyes with me and pull back to throw a punch. The first thing in my head was "Oh my god, this is awesome!" I took the punch right across the bridge of the nose and sold it. After that, everything cooled down and the rest of the show went off without a hitch.
After the show, I helped them tear down the ring and headed back home. The next day I got an e-mail from the owner/head trainer of PZW. He said that my cardio needed a lot of work but that he could see me having a future in wrestling. I know that he most likely says that to everyone to butter them up and get them to sign up for the school, but still it meant a lot to hear it.
Unfortunately, I haven't had any other experiences like that since then. It's been almost 5 years since that day and I still think about it every day.
Right now, I'm just trying to work and save up money so I can go to a school somewhere. I'm working out every day, trying to get into shape and get my cardio up. I've basically narrowed it down to 2 schools that I want to attend. There's the ROH School in Philly, of course. Then there's the Mach One Wrestling Academy in Anaheim, CA. The hardest part, to me, would be convincing my parents that I really want to do this. They have never seemed to keen on me being a wrestler at all, my Mother especially, but this is truly what I want to do. It's the only thing that I've ever felt I was meant for.
