Okay, let me clarify myself, I really love Mattel's style of figures , they are awesome figures, and I don't mind the outfit selection of legends that much . My main complaint is that I can not find their figures anywhere. I go to 2 Toy's R us, 3 Targets, 3 Wal-Marts, and 4 Meijer stores in my area frequently and I can not find anything new. I am a huge collector of DC universe, JLU, Infinite Heroes, Action League, and I am mostly disappointed with the selection around my area, I never had any problem finding Jakks figures. I have giant holes in my collections of DCUC ( Gentleman Ghost, Walmart wave 5, etc), I also have to order many of the WWE legends from online retailers, have not seen them in any store except the 1 Kmart we have here. So in short , I know I am a whining baby, I have a business I run, a wife and 3 kids, I should worry about other things than plastic figures, but it is my outlet and I enjoy it. Sorry to offend anyone. Joe its the stores fault a little bit too bc they can place orders to mattel.

I think Mattel has done an excellent job getting sets out and in a timely manner. The attention to detail is so refreshing on the heels of Jakks failure to be more thorough. The distribution situation is so so but hey why complain when the product arrives you know it is great quality you had to wait for.

theres no pleasing some. we finally get fully detailed figures, in scale with each other but we whine cause we can't find them hanging at every store? isn't that the joy of the hunt? either way i don't think Mattel could do any better.

Mattel's poor distribution is the main reason I gave up on collecting Mattel right before Christmas.

Every store? Try ANY store, that's not an exaggeration at least for me in new York city. I don't have enough time in my life to waste weekends running around to stores to find the same two racked of empty pegs. It's pathetic really.

Ive grown more and more frustrated as well. Being a DC collector for years before WWE's move to Mattel, I knew how bad Mattel's distribution was. For the past 3 weeks, Ive been going to my TRU, Walmart & 2 Targets atleast 4x a week each in search of Elite 8, with nothing in sight.

It's not much of a hunt when some stores just don't carry the line period. Mattel should be getting the product into every store that the major chain has. It also doesn't help when those that do have them don't stay up to date.
The TRU here still has a few Dusty & Sarge's sitting on the shelf. They never got in series 2 except for a couple sent over from TRU Express. They literally JUST put up legends 3 last week.
Target closest to me still has a couple from 2 & 3. The other Target sold out of 1, never got in 2, sold out of 3 and has been empty ever since.
I have 6 Walmart's near me. None of them have ever carried the Legends line.
Series 4 has never shown up around here at any store.

Okay, I have been a long time collector of wrestling figures , I am 38 years old and proud to admit it. I love collecting figures, I love going to Toys R Us, Target, and Wal-Mart to look through the shelves. I have collected LJN, Hasbro, Jakks, OSTM, Justtoys , and almost everything else. I have to admit , I am disappointed with Mattel, the distribution of their product is terrible, their selection of "Legends" and their attire is awful, They seem to be very slow on the release of new superstars, I understand that Jakks had years of experience, but they seem very slow at releasing new superstars, and don't get me started on the "LEGENDS" line...............................TERRIBLE ( love the figures and the characters, but please let the distribution be better, and have some more figures coming soon). Joe I'm the same age as you, Joe, and I'm not ashamed to say I still collect figures. I still get a thrill from going to the toy aisle regardless of what others think. Like you, I grew up with Remco, LJN, and Hasbro. As an adult collector, I think all those figures are cartoon crap. Sorry to offend anyone but those don't appeal to me in the least. Jakks and Mattel made collecting fun again. I was disappointed with some of Jakks' torsos & arms. I've been disappointed with some of Mattel's headscans. But, comparing them to the lines that came before them, I won't complain.
