Just wondering on who we think is the greatest "pure" tag team of all-time. If you decide to vote, I'm interested to know who you voted for and why. My vote goes to Bret Hart & Jim Niedhart. Their styles complimented each other more so than any other successful tag team that I have seen wrestle. Not to mention their longevity as a top tag team for most of the 80's and early 90's.
I'd also rank Arn & Tully near the top of my list. Few tag teams worked as hard as "The Brain Busters".

All the possible choices are awesome teams. For me the top ones can be narrowed down to:
Road Warriors Steiner Brothers Hart Foundation Harlem Heat Anderson & Blanchard Demolition British Bulldogs
Then out of that bunch it always comes down to the Road Warriors & Steiner Brothers. Both teams were awesome to watch and went on to hold gold throughout the world. For the longest time, I'vesidedwith Road Warriors, but I'm starting to side with the Steiner Brothers.
The Steiners could really do it all: wrestle, brawl, ariel, etc. In their prime I don't think there as a team that could defeat them.

Has to be the Road Warriors. They dominated the 80s and 90s in 3 different wrestling companys. Not only did they dominate but they dominated when Tag team wrestling was HUGE. Right behind them and very close 2nd i would put the Steiner Bros. Between the two teams i think the only major tag titles neither team won was the ECW tag titles. A list of Tag team titles these 2 teams have held....
WCW Tag Titles NWA Tag Titles WWF Tag Titles AWA Tag Titles IWGP Tag Titles

I'm probably the only person who will cast a vote for them, but The Miracle Violence Connection get my vote.
Doc and Gordy tore up everyone they came in contact with.
The Eliminators should be on that list as well.

Personally, I think Edge & Christian are the best tag team ever. Great in-ring skill, amazing mic work; the true definition of what it means to reek of awesomeness.

I would have to rank the Road Warriors as the greatest team of all time; they were one of the most successful and longest running teams of all-time and still put on great tag matches at the end of their run before Hawk died.
As for second place, it's a tie with me for the Steiner Brothers & Hart Foundation.

Hands down The Road Warriors. The most decorated tag team ever, one of the few if not only tag team that can MAIN EVENT at any areana or PPV.
Have to say, the DUDLEYS were and are pretty damn good and entertaining as well.

There are tons of great teams but the top 2 have to be the Dudley Boys and the Road Warriors. Both teams may not be the most skilled team but both teams have done it all and with the Dudleys still going I pick th Dudley's.
