Pardon my ignorance, but is that Tito? Because holy sh*t that looks like the lovechild of Tyson Kidd and Crimson from that angle.

^ Lol... yeah, it's certainly a weird pic of Tito. Does anyone know if the (Spike TV) pre-lims are shown anywhere on the internet? ESPN-UK always used to show them here, but for some reason didn't show them last time (132) - and they aren't scheduled for tonight either... which sucks.

I'm really looking forward to tonight's card, especially the Tito/Rashad fight. I think that one will be very interesting. I think Tito is on the comeback trail and he's my pick tonight.
Hey, pretty much EVERYONE counted him out of the Bader fight and look what happened there. Even pros like Couture and Velasquez were picking Bader. ANYTHING can happen in MMA at any given moment.
Seeing as Rashad has been caught and dropped in the past, in his fight against Machida, I just got a feeling that's what will happen again tonight. I think Tito has the power to drop Rashad, if he can land a few solid shots. NEVER count Tito out. He'll surprise you, just like he did last time. And I've got a feeling we are in for another surprise tonight!!

natals takedown d, and d off his back were superb. the reach advantage was obscene, bradley looked big even at 185, so for him to go back down to 170 is tough, but his reach at 185 is just gonna get him pounded constantly. i had it 30-27, but the cosmetic takedowns mightve gotten bradley the 2nd.

round 1 of brown/phan... gotta be 10-8. damage was minimal for the first couple minutes, but he was still being punched in the face the entire round, and brown dicated the entire 5 minutes for the most part.
round 2 was phan 10-9, better precise striking, great takedown d.
round 3 10-9 brown. better striking, dictated pace though phan again going showed great takedown d, not allowing one. but he did no damage. 29-27 brown on my card.

hendricks/pierce: the supposedly illegal upkick was bullshit... im glad yamasaki didnt take a point away. he did kick him in the face, but pierce wasnt on the ground, both knees were up.
a real tough fight to score. i think all 3 rounds couldve gone either way, based simply on angles, or your view of certain punch or takedown attempt, or in round 3, what you felt pierce did with his takedown. i thought pierce did enough in rounds 2 and 3, and won 29-28. but i dont really view either of them as a loser.

round 1 to pace, ground game and the submission attempt. round 2 to menjivar, the striking was too good, pace doesnt steal it with the takedown on my card. round 3 was very tough to score. menjivar controlled the first 3 minutes, but with limited damage. pace nailed a huge knee, mightve broke a bone by menjivars eye, and then he spent the last minute and a half chasing him around. pace gets round 3, 29-28 pace on my card.
all undercard fights went to decision... natal over bradley (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) brown over phan (29-27, 29-28, 29-28) hendricks over pierce via split (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) menjivar over pace (all 3 29-28)... rogen and the fans were not very happy about that one.

definitely not the fight i expected between these two, stylistically. thats not necessarily a bad thing, it wasnt boring, i just didnt expect as much clinching, nor that much on the ground. 29-28 phillipou on my card.

And with that, I think we've seen the last of Akiyama in the UFC. Awesome win for Belfort!!
