I'm guessing Chuck will check himself into a mental institution if Tito actually wins again... He'll probably be in the crowd, slashing his wrists while Tito does the gravedigger routine interesting thought: When chuck dies, do you think they could get Tito to dig his grave? I know it's horrible to think about that, but I think that would be a very interesting sight.

A few interesting notes...- No one called to take the fight against Rashad at 205, even after it was widely known that Davis was going to have to drop out.
- However, both Chael Sonnen and Chris Leben called and said they'd go up to 205 to fight Rashad. Dana told them, "You're 185 pounders."
- Tito Ortiz was the first choice, but originally said he had some personal problems.
- Machida originally accepted the fight. Then when Dana called back, his camp demanded, "Anderson Silva money." Dana told them, "When you accomplish what Anderson Silva has, then you can get Anderson Silva money."
- Next option was to move Vladimir Matyushenko up the card to fight Davis in the main event.
- Tito called Dana back and said he would take the fight.
- If Tito wins, he is a top three contender for the title.
- If Rashad wins, he is the No. 1 contender and will fight the Jones-Rampage winner for the title.
- Phil Davis will not be out long, but was unable to kickbox for a few weeks and needed an MRI on his knee. He still wanted to take the fight, but Dana had to tell him not to.
- Tito is still under his previous contract, but if he fights and wins; there will likely be re-negotiations.
- Brock Lesnar is completely disconnected from the world right now. He's on his farm in Canada without a phone. His recovery, however, has been "incredible."

I was actually thinking that Sonnen could be an option when Davis pulled out. Leben is just Leben, lol. Dude will take any fight.

I hope there's a clear cut winner this time, but good for Tito for taking the fight on so close after his last one.

So if Tito wins, I assume he'd fight either Machida or the winner of Forrest/Shogun for the next title shot?
Honestly, I wouldn't object to him getting a title shot if he beats Rashad. Rashad is the true #1 contender, and if Tito beats him, he'd be riding a ton of momentum. From a financial standpoint, it'd make sense, much like Sonnen getting a title shot if he beats Stann. It'd be too marketable to pass up.

matt hamill is in for matyushenko too. dont even have a reasonable suggestion for a fight vs ace... maybe dana gives leben this one, even though he is ''a 185er''. or do they weaken the card, and push ace back to fight lil nog or davis whenever theyre ready?
or do they just now move hamill up to face franklin, and then get a lesser guy to face gustafsson? gustafsson has arguably earned his shot at a bigger name though [bigger as in a hamill/matyushenko level name]

I love Franklin, and love Nogueira, but I didn't want to see one of them lose in a fight against eachother. I know it won't happen, but I'd love for Machida to step in.

You guys aren't going to like this: BREAKING NEWS: Rogerio Nogueira injured, out of Rich Franklin fight at UFC 133 Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to this fight anyway. It didn't excite me, but that was also most of the hype for the event, so this hurts the UFC. I wish they could find someone else for Rich, as any other fight for him would've been better. I guess we'll wait and see what happens now.

Updated the match order in the opening post.
Frankin/Nogueira has been taken off the card, and Belfort/Akiyama has been promoted to the co-main event, while Hallman/Ebersole has been promoted to the main card.

So does that mean Franklin is off the show all together? If Machida hadn't have denied it, we'd have Machida/Evans and Tito/Franklin(Tito stepped up to Evans, he'd probably have with this one).

That's a shame about Franklin/Nogueira, but Belfort/Akiyama should be an interesting co-main event.

Sucks that they can't get replacement for Frankling to fight though...
