If it were to indeed be Mankind, it would have to be classic Mankind. Not this muppet version he had his last couple of years active. Go as dark and insane as possible and have him pull out everything he can.
And if that doesn't work, use Cody Rhodes.....

I think it will be HHH or Ted Jr with his dad. He will lose, because of what HHH says, if the streak dies he dies. He will lose and that will be it.

I hope it wont be his last mania/match but i'll play along just because.. i have a few ideas altho with most of them i would have a real problem if and when he wins and it IS his final match tho... first i'd like to mention kane, as many already stated, history and story wise it's just the perfect man, disregarding the fact that their last feud was a bit meh, i still believe they can do better if they try harder and in a situation like this, the mystique of the historic connection between the two overshadows the bad wrestling, after all, kane is like batmans joker or spidermans venom. second,i'd like to mention sting because that has always been something i'd like to see,and just because it's something that has dream match written all over it, and because it's original in every way since sting has never done anything in wwe,it would be build around the fact that both men are/were the dark characters, and faces, of their respective companys, sting was wcw's undertaker no matter how you like him or not so it would make sense to finally have that face off now if it's ever going to happen or before both men literraly can't take a bump anymore, this one is now or never for me....the problem is, if it is takers sendoff, he has to win and i'd feel bad for sting if after all these years of teasing, he has to come in for 1 loss with no chance of payback at a later ppv third,i'd like to present Stone cold !! hey if the rock can make a comeback when nobody expected it to ever happen, so can stone cold, he's still in decent shape and he's still a big name in wwe, they can give him a big comeback with very intense promos going on about how every icon has fallen before taker, that nobody could get the job done because they don't have enough guts and so on and so on, just the kinda raw, intense promos you'd expect austin to deliver, maybe throw in a subtle jab at the rock, cena,pg wwe era....to ad some austin humor and i'm sure it would be pure gold. Our next contender is..........Batistaaa !! i loved, absolutley LOVED their previous programs and matches, they really clicked and were able to tell a story plus it might be the perfect way for batista to come back to wwe, with his so called "mission" of unfinished business and build from there.....that is, only if batista's heart is still in pro wrestling which we don't know at the moment. Basiclly the same story could be used for a returning brock lesnar !!! i've been wanting brock to come back to wwe ever since he left and those 2 had fantastic chemistry, plus in the buildup they could reference the previous matches they had, how it never left brocks head and he's out for absolute dominance, throw in a nod to their mini face of at that ufc event and i can feel the tension rising already !! the problem is that its unlikely because as far as we know lesnar is 100%mma now and even if he did want to do it he isn't allowed. now for an unexpected choice.............vince ? C'mon hang with me,if this is takers last match, i would actually love it if vince gets involved, they have had some history and wrestled before, and if vince can play his evil mr mcmahon character again for one time, it could lead to one helluva feud and promos between the 2 with vince going on record, in evil vinny voice, that none of his superstars were able to get the job done, and it was time wwe got rid of his dark presence and he won't stand for takers reign of destruction to last any longer so he takes matters into his own hands !! basiclly the whole vince vs hogan program from mania19 all over again but with a darker tone. And when taker beats vince, the arena, or at least the ring, would be filled with smoke slowly untill you don't see mcmahons body anymore, lights go dark aside of 1 blue spot on taker making him seem mystical with his music playing, then somehow when the smoke clears, a casket would appear in the ring !! with vince presumably in it and taker grabbing a mic yelling ressssst innnn peeaaaccce, lightning bolt strikes casket and thats the ultimate end of vinces on air character, from that point on HHH becomes the new leader on tv. when they carry the casket away triple h should appear on stage looking schocked and sad, meanwhile taker may give on last promo telling the fans that this was the end, that he has come full circle now and there is nothing left to acclompish, maybe telling us that now HE can rest in peace knowing vince's reign or terror is over for good, and make some kind of dramatic exit out the arena, maybe something with horses and some other supernatural sh*t creating a awesome visual of the deadman going away, for good, with his legacy intact. and offcourse, cena but no need to say more, won't happen.

Undertaker's last match should either be against someone who is known for having great match ups and could have meaning to the end of his career (Mankind, Orton, Jericho) or against someone he's never faced before.
The whole build up to Batista/Undertaker was based on the fact that Batista had never faced Undertaker one on one, and thus should be scared of him because of that. It's been so long since we had someone Undertaker's never faced.

Once again, how can anyone justify ANOTHER Taker/Kane match? Because they are " brothers " and they both have one of WWE's greatest of brother rivals that need to have a decent finish before they both retire..

I'd love to see him face Foley in a HIAC to end his career. I have a feeling though that it will be HHH again, which will be highly dissapointing. Jericho would even be good too.
But definetly not anyone like DiBiase or any other young-up and comer. It needs to be someone believable for his last match. And with Cena already with The Rock, the only believable choices that I see as still out there are Foley, Jericho, and Kane. (Austin maybe?)

Didn't he die? But, on to the nominees!!!.... The MizSure, he has no history with Undertaker. BUT...his current character has all the tools to build an interesting program with the Deadman. Miz went from opening WM26 to Main-Eventing WM27. At this rate of career growth, Miz could easily be seen as a legimate threat by WM28. Alberto Del RioThis fued wouldn't even need too much build. Del Rio has taken out top stars already, so they could make him seem like a big deal, fairly quick leading into Mania. It could be his destiny to end the streak, but you already knew that. See? The fued would write itself. NON-SERIOUS---Del Rio doing Takers entrance, but with a sombrero.

Zack Ryder. . I'd love it to be Sheamus to be honest but only from a selfish point of view. I know it might be a bit of a let down for Sheamus to go over Taker at 'Mania, but I'd absolutely love it!

Like I've said before: against Chris Jericho and have him end the streak. Why? It doesn't accomplish anything. Taker should retire undefeated. But it does. What doesn't accomplish anything is him retiring with the streak in tact. Sure, it'd be a great way to honor a man who definitely does deserve it. However, by doing that--having him retire undefeated--it's like him just taking his ball and going home. The only thing gained from it is one more win added to the streak. By having someone actually defeat him, it allows someone else the opportunity to make a name for himself the way he has over the past 19 WrestleManias that he's competed at. More importantly, it allows the legacy of the streak to carry on. If he retires undefeated, the streak will just be something people will think back to once he's finished in the ring. On the other hand, by having someone beat him, it allows that person to keep the importance of the streak alive. For the rest of their career, they'll be known as the one man who could do what every other man couldn't, they'll be known as the man who retired the Undertaker, and most importantly, they'll always be known as the man who ended the streak.
