Today marks the 21st anniversary of the death of Jim Henson. Here’s to one of the most inspiring men of the last century, whose vision inspired both kids and adults the world over to explore, laugh, imagine, play and most of all, dream. You are missed.
I meant to post this yesterday, but had problems.

I miss him. The Muppets pretty much went downhill after he passed.

I really wanted to post my favorite Kermit picture in rememberance, but it's the one where he's waving his arms and yelling "YAAAAHHHHH" so I didn't think it was appropriate. Ah, it.

One of my heroes. I still cry when I watch the memorial or tribute show.
I posted last years anniversary, and I'm glad someone posted about him this year.
I hope The Muppets does him proud this year, it should be a good movie.

Can't say I'd ever seen that Muppets Tonight clip before...seeing the Sesame Street gang mingling with the likes of Scooter and Fozzy is kind of surreal.
I can't believe it's been twenty-one years, mainly because I thought I was much older when I heard of his passing. I think Jim would be proud to see how well his company is thriving now. Hell, Cookie Monster still makes me laugh 'til I cry when he's on adult-oriented shows for interviews, such as this...
