Quite simply, the argument that you are "safe" as long as you obey the law is complete social ignorance. You would have to completely disregard all history of innocent people going to jail, corrupt police, unnecessary arrests, racial profiling, etc. to come to that conclusion. I am not a criminal and I have nothing to hide. I don't do any drugs - never have, I don't have anything illegal whatsoever in my home, I don't use my phone to do illegal things, etc... But that doesn't mean I don't want my right to my privacy. |

HOW CAN THEY DO THIS?!? Look at the facts... Since The Patriot Act how many terrorist attacks have happened on US soil? I know I quit keeping count after 48... And yet they push this b.s. legislation through again?! What's the point?!?!
Really...
I would love to see one example from someone on this board who's privacy has been invaded by The Patriot Act...
