Hey,
I'm just in the process of transferring most of my old-school W.W.F. Coliseum Video tapes to DVD and was just curious for those that collect them or have some in your collection, which one is your favorite tape??
I've got many in my collection, but I think my all-time favorite W.W.F. Coliseum Video tape is either Demolition or The Hart Foundation.
Granted, since I don't own them all and if I had others like Bruno Sammartino and The British Bulldogs and Even More Unusual Matches, my opinion might change. But for the time being, it's one of those two for sure.
So, which one is your favorite??

Hulkamania III gets my vote. Just for the reason that it was the first to cover an entire feud from start to finsh.

Demolition
Hulkamania 2
Hulkamania 3 - The Giant Betrayal
The Biggest, The Smallest, The Strangest, The Strongest
Any early Best Of The WWF....I love the opening intro music....especially the part where Andre slams Kamala in the cage...

The one with footage of all the managers from that era. I think it was called WWF's Greatest Managers or something along those lines. Earns bonus points from me just for the simple fact that it's the only WWF/WWE release that features a significant amount of clips of the greatest manager in the history of wrestling, the Grand Wizard.

Mr. Perfect vs Texas Tornado (Champion) for the IC title Ted Dibiase as Announcer Winner: Mr. Perfect
Marty Jannetty vs Rick Martel Winner: Rick Martel
Hulk Hogan and Tugboat vs Rhythm & Blues Earthquake and Dino Bravo interfere Winners: Hogan & Tugboat
Ultimate Warrior vs Ted Dibiase I think this is for the WWF title Macho King Interferes along with Sherri and Virgil Winner: Warrior Part of this is shown on the ultimate warrior dvd on SNME Savage beats him with septer

I am pretty much done with the Coliseums, but have a ways to go with all of the self-recorded shows from TV. My favorite Coliseum Video that I have seen (the Bulldogs, Demolition, Hart Foundation and Ricky Steamboat Coliseum Videos have eluded me for years) is definitely Rowdy Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits. Especially for the exclusive Piper's Pit where he interviewed himself via split-screen camera trickery. I also have a fondness for Smack 'Em Whack 'Em since that one has the Bret Hart-Ric Flair 1992 title change, and a pretty good Bret vs. Michaels ladder match from 1992 (before they became mortal enemies). There's also Grudges Gripes & Grunts from 1992 or 93, which is a mediocre video except for an awesome main event tag match: Ric Flair & Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart & Randy Savage.

Yeah, some of the ones you mentioned like Demolition, Hart Foundation and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, I've got in my collection and are now converted to DVD. Those tapes are really hard to come by these days and can go for quite a bit on eBay. I also liked the original huge clamshell cases for those tapes.

Was there ever a Honky Tonk Man video released? Anyway my favorite would have to be best of wwf vol. 5.

Was there ever a Honky Tonk Man video released? Anyway my favorite would have to be best of wwf vol. 5. No, unfortunately, there was never a Honky Tonk Man video released. If there was, trust me, I'd have it for sure. You'd think after holding the Intercontinental belt as long as he did, it would garner him a video tape to his own, but it never happened. Other Superstars that had their own tapes were: Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Andre the Giant, Randy "Macho Man" Savage & Elizabeth, Capt. Lou Albano, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, The British Bulldogs, George "The Animal" Steele, Demolition, Ken Patera, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake to name a few. However, there is still hope for a future DVD set of The Honky Tonk Man and I'd love to see it. I mean, to this day, he still holds the record for the longest Intercontinental title reign of all-time. Honky Tonk is one of the greatest characters and heels ever. Without question he deserves a DVD set of him.

Whack Em, Smack Em. Because it had HBK vs Bret Hart ladder match. Great old school/classic topic!

I think it was called Raw Prime and Uncut
I have it somewhere, it had Rick Martel doing the Boston Crab on Razor Ramon.

I'd say Hulkamania 4. Only because it was my first, and I probably watched that more than any other.
