The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that no tribute as of this posting is planned for Randy Savage at Sunday's WWE Over the Limit PPV event in Seattle, Washington. Currently WWE has a video package and several photo gallery tributes of Randy Savage across WWE.com. It is expected that a tribute will air prior/during Monday Night RAW at least.

Disgraceful if true. I think a 10 bell salute at the start of the PPV would suffice (like when Andre passed), follow it with a video package and get on with the show. Raw is a different story. I want Vince to come out himself and bury the hatchet. Back in the day, you could tell the respect he had for Randy. I truly believe they were very close friends and Vince felt betrayed after Macho left for WCW.

In all honesty I would not mind a simple "in memory of" before the start, all it takes is 10 seconds and get on with the show.
Just so long as Raw has a more in-depth tribute.

More people will watch RAW than they will the PPV, so I'm okay with them waiting till tomorrow. Hopefully we get a nice video package and a few nice words said. I'm fully expected to cry.

Why are people so obsessed with when the WWE should pay tribute to Savage? and thinking because they didn't move RAW to friday night live and do a full 3 hour special "tribute show" that they are the worst company in the world???
They have about 400 things on WWE.com for him, EVERY SINGLE WRESTLING FAN on this planet has access to the internet and can see that stuff. If I remember correctly, they have NEVER done a ten bell salute, etc. on a PPV...even when Pillman died the day of In Your House. I have a feeling they will show a quick "In Memory Of" graphic tonight, and then tomorrow we will get the full deal.
Can we PLEASE stop bitching about when the WWE should air a tribute to Macho Man?

This. It's way more appropriate to do it on RAW.

There's no reason they can't do a 10-bell salute both at the PPV and on RAW tomorrow night. It takes a minute to do, really is it that much of a hassle?

As long as they do something on RAW, I don't see what the problem is.

I think TNA should have bought some TV time and aired a live 10 bell salute and the rest of the time air Macho Man matches and clips as well as a small video clip that way they can come out looking better for having WWE not do anything for their PPV. (Insert sarcasm)
WWE has never been tasteless in the way they have dealt with former WWF superstars deaths. And it isnt needed immediately. Im sure it will be done and with some class so everyone here needs to calm down and just miss a great legend and mourn for a loss of a human being.

Except TNA doesn't need to be throwing away more money for what would be a show with an 0.2 rating that would look more "See, we care more than WWE!" then "We really respect Randy Poffo". Then throw in that TNA has very, very limited footage of Macho Man that they can show, that in the end would just be showing him standing on the apron in a Coat. Ideally I would like a 10-bell salute to Savage, but I think in a 'meeting half-way' type of thing, an "In Memory of" graphic and a video package either after it or at some point during the show would be fine with me.
