(If wrong board please move)
CM Punk.
According to a prominent member of the WWE staff, Cena is a big fan of Punk's, and thought WWE could have gotten a lot more out of Punk during his run with Randy Orton.
With Punk reportedly in a contract dispute with WWE (his contract expires at the end of the Summer, and he has not elected to sign a new agreement), Cena went to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon with a similar pitch to how Cena worked Chris Jericho's final program when Jericho first took a leave of absence from WWE.
While WWE hopes Punk will eventually stay with the company, it looks like his exit will come at the hands of John Cena should he decide to leave.
Of course, with Punk being in a feud with "The Champ," WWE has the option to offer Punk a title run in order to sweeten the offer for him to stay.
"This is going to be interesting to watch," another key WWE insider told us this evening, "Punk is very smart, and Cena understands WWE politics better than anyone other than HHH and Undertaker. A feud between the two of them may be the smartest thing WWE can do to get Punk to stay!"

Yipee It should be a good feud if Punk gets a bit of freedom and can work his magic. The matches wont be 5star but the storyline should be entertaining and possible Punk as champ will be fantastic. Might also help Mason Ryan, Punk goes and Ryan goes for revenge or Punk stays and Ryan can just be involved somehow that way. Looking forward to what builds up for Summerslam.

As long as Punk just doesn't get fed to Super Cena then I'm all for it. They had a small feud going at the beginning of the year, but didn't go very far with it and it was probably the most interesting feud Cena has had in some time.
Punk getting the strap would be awesome, maybe culminating in a match at Summerslam. Let Del Rio pick up some steam outside of the main event for a while before putting him with Cena.

Well they did protect Punk in last nights tag team title match by having Mason Ryan get pinned. I don't know if they're going to go with Miz vs Cena for another month or jump right to a Punk vs Cena fued. Who would Miz fued with next? My bet is Miz vs Mysterio is the only logical answer.

As awesome as this sounds (I would love to see evil CM Punk headlining RAW throughout the summer), I can't help but think it's just another dirtsheet guess. The Miz is out of the picture (or at least should be unless creative wants to be stale and repetitive), CM Punk's contract is ending, the same thing happened with Jericho. The pieces to the puzzle are there.

Give Punk the title and don't FEED him to Cena and I'm all for it. I'm not saying he HAS to win the feud, but at least not job like he did to Orton.

His contract expires at the end of the summer? Before it was posted that his contracted ended in mid-June.

Just seems like more dirt sheet BS to me. Who logically gets the next feud? Truth, who has been 'screwed' out of title shots by Morrison and Mysterio and has taken one out and beaten the other clean or CM Punk who lost a tag title match?

Technically speaking. With Cena being as BIG of a name he is, having the pull he does, if he DIDN'T want to beat punk, would he have to even if the writing staff said so?
If they told him he was going over punk.. And then they went put there and cena let punk pin him, WTF would happen? Literally fire Cena or put him through a crapmill? Don't see that happening lol.

With what I just said.. Push comes to shove. You can do an angle after that with Cena turning heel against the fans and company itself. Thus, revitalizing his gimmick.

with all the rumors of punk leaving, if he gets fed to super cena he just may very well leave and not resign.

Hopefully it will be without the 'New Nexus', Cena/Nexus has been done to death & we've already seen this in January.

I liked most of their matches so I'm looking forward to these if it happens. Punk needs to win the WWE title too since he has never won it and he said he'd like to collect them all so sign the contract to get the WWE title.
