Introduction
If you're reading this, Congratulations, you've decided to hop abord a friggin' long journey to the World of Pic Fedding. You may have noticed all of those great shows that you see, but until you actually try this stuff, you really don't know the effort involved.
So hop onto the Magic Sliding Frying Pan, and hold on tight!
1. Where do I begin?
Well, I strongly suggest you get roughly 8 wrestling figures, or even add a few more for announcers, etc.
Do's:
- Start feuds straight away if you must, because there's nothing more luring then to see what happens next on the next show.
- Have a storyline.
- Provide legible commentary.
- Have a good camera.
- Have a clean backdrop. Black or White is a good start. Or even try some good crowd printouts.
Don'ts:
- Do pic fedding if you're Insane NJ
- Use a webcamera for photo taking
- Uze txt speek, u cnt rly rd dis if ur tryin 2 typ
- Position your "arena" in a messy room
- Use Cardboard and a Texta for an entrence ramp
- Use your hand to hold figures up, and have the camera REALLY close to the figure. If you are, just don't bother with midair shots.
2. Ok, I've got that nailed down, how should I approach the filming?
Well, a match should be roughly 50 to 150 pictures, depending on the status of the match, eg. Opener, Mid-Card, Main Event. Make sure you position the camera in realistic angles at least. If you need help, get a figure, and wherever you want the shot from, position it on the floor or apron, and rest the camera lens against it for a scaled shot.
Make sure you keep the camera steady, and have a well-lit area. Flash Photography is quite bad, leaves a really unprofessional look, and can only be used as a last resort.
3. Ok, I've finished my filming! What do I do next?
3.1 - Uploading Images
3.1b I'm planning on using a Forum for my federation.
Well, in this case, hopefully you would be no stranger to the [/ img] tags. They are pretty much the standard for forums and you should have no problems.[/blockquote]
4. How do I place the pictures onto my website, and finish the show?
Well, Freewebs has a really great tool where you can choose a site template and add to it. When you host your images on the internet, on sites such as Photobucket, Tiny Pic, and Imageshack, you go into the site builder, and paste in the image code for HTML. Then you just need to place commentary under that.
5. When I've finished my show, what should I do?
Post it in the Pic Feds board, and make sure to reply to the others. Just supporting the main feds gives them less competition to become better. Don't be arrogant and think that anything that doesn't have pages that take hours to load because of 10 animations per match makes a show look good, it's how the story, and the matches progress and flow.
6. Final Notes
Well, this is bloody annoying to type up, but I thought I might as well have a crack at it. *Hopefully* most questions should have been answered, and after you've done a pic fed, you know how much time and effort it takes to put on something like this. Support other feds, and they'll support you.
More parts will be added on shortly, and descriptions expanded. So yeah, any more questions here. Please for the love of god, if you are asking a question, type it in proper English, or we'll struggle to understand you, let alone bother to answer your question.

As for the presentation, music can be good, but as long as it is edited to around 30 seconds long, otherwise it takes too much time to load. If you're not confident with it, don't worry. It's just a minor thing. As for any entrence graphics, If you only have Microsoft Paint, Don't do any graphics at all. It will look like crap, you will get bashed, and it looks gay.
