I finished my QPR season. I started really well, Going unbeaten in the first 2 months of the season. I was sitting nicely at 3rd place but once again it all went down hill in the league for me. I ended up coming 14th which was good because my goal was to avoid relegation but i wanted to come atleast top 8.
Even though i did pretty crap in the league i did manage to win the FA Cup. I did have some pretty easy games until the quarter's when i had stoke but i easily beat them 4-0. Then came the Semi's where i would face Chelsea. They went a goal after 17 minutes but luckily i won 2-1 due to Forlan and El Shaarawy. So in the final im against United and surprisingly win 2-0. So winning the FA Cup was a great way to end the season.
At the end i got offer's from Birmingham City, Swansea & Real Deportivo. I decided to stay with QPR as i would be in Europe. So far i've brought in Schmeichel and sold Kenny, Derry & Raffael. Im also attempting to get Henderson from Liverpool as he has been put on the transfer market. Will update you all later on how the start of the season goes.

I won the league with Utd in my first season then Rooney demanded a transfer at the beginning of the second season. Sold him to Real Madrid for 90 million

Have just entered December on my Career Mode (Tottenham Hotspur, second season) and am honestly loving it now. The one problem I had with Fifa 11 was that the CPU's AI was so bad, they were hardly ever scoring against me; but when I put the difficulty, I just could not play as it was too hard. That, however, is not the case on Fifs 12. The CPU is not finding that troubling at all, yet I am also scoring, producing entertaining games.
Had a horrible patch of fixtures (had all the big five teams over the space of eight weeks, with tough fixtures inbetween). It started of badly (a 2-2 home draw with Manchester City, after being 2-0 going into the 87th minute and a 2-1 home defeat to Arsenal, with them getting the winnder in stoppage time) but thankfully the results picked up after a 2-1 away defeat to Aston Villa. A thumping 5-1 home win over Liverpool and I absolutely went to town on Manchester United at Old Trafford, leading 4-0 at half time (Thomas Muller scoring all four) and eventually winning 6-1. After a 4-2 away win against Chelsea and a 7-0 home win over West Bromwich Albion, I thought my season was about to pick up. I was wrong. Had an inexplicable 3-0 away defeat to Sunderland, which I was very disappointed with. Stoke City away is the next fixture, and a point there would be perfect (ironically, after I suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bolton last season, my next game was Stoke away, which I went on to win 4-2).
The Champions League (of Champions Cup, as the game calls it) has been going well. Got drawn in a group with Schalke, Valencia and Basel. Only dropped a few points (a 0-0 away draw with basel and a 1-0 away defeat to Schalke). Not sure who I have in the next round, but I am sure it will not be easy. Dreading one of the European giants.
Am on course for the League Cup. Got into the Semi-Final's after an absolute belter of a match with Aston Villa. Ended 6-3 after Extra Time (3-3 at the end of normal time). That'll teach me for playing my 'newly promoted from Youth Squad' GoalKeeper rated 55.
Quite pleased with my team at the moment, so will not likely move in for anyone. Will likely make a move for Nicolas Gaitan and Mats Hummels at the end of the season, however as will likely need more quality if I want to do well in the Champions League.

That's what I did. I am playing it on Professional, but was just thrashing teams like you said, so I decreased ther shot error, increased their shot speed and put up their sprint speed. Now I am getting properly competitive games (most of the time). Could work.

Stumbling a little bit with Newcastle at the moment. After losing 1-0 to Man City I managed to draw with both Man Utd and Chelsea. Then came a shock 1-0 defeat to Norwich. It leaves me in 3rd, 9 points behind City in 1st. If I don't beat Swansea next then I'll eat my hat.
I like how the commentator mentions your virtual pro's birthday if you're using him on that day.

I like how the commentator mentions your virtual pro's birthday if you're using him on that day. They do that with everyone I think. They brought up Ibrahimovic's birthday when I was playing with Milan online last week.

Started with Bradford City and stormed first half of season, after 25 games I was 9 points clear at top of league and my Pro had 30 goals. Then.....something changed. Now in my past 10 games I've not scored, missed open goals, my players seem off the pace, easily jostled off the ball, and just a far worse team in general, whereas the AI League 2 teams now seem full of Messi juggernauts on speed! I managed to get promoted to League 1, win the Johnstones Paint Trophy and got knocked out of the FA Cup 5th Round by Man City. If this finish to the season is anything to go by, League 1 is going to be a struggle!

Anyone know why I'm not getting any XP Points for any Career Mode Games lately? I've got 0 XP like the last 15 Games now?

Anyone know why I'm not getting any XP Points for any Career Mode Games lately? I've got 0 XP like the last 15 Games now? If you have been playing online prior, you could have maximsed your XP for the day. I think there is a cap of 2000XP points per day.

The 2000XP cap is correct. I've seen people whinging about it because they want to get more, but it's irrelevant to you as a single person. You do not appear on any global leaderboards because of it. It is solely to provide an accurate cross section of who the most consistent fans are. Without a cap Man Utd would be top because they have the most fans. By keeping the cap and making it an average score, Man Utd gets relegated out of all 4 English divisions and smaller clubs with a more die hard following get promoted.

Started my first season with Man Utd the day I got the game. Sold off a few fringe players, nobody major that could feature in the first team. Bought in Mauricio Isla from Udinese for around £13million, Sami Khedira for £16million, an English keeper called John Smith from the free agents pool, loaned in Philippe Coutinho from Inter, as well as bringing in a couple of youth team prospects. In January, I sold off a miserable Michael Carrick to Everton for £9million, and used the money towards bringing in Cieran Clark, Marc Wilson and David Beckham. Ended up winning the league by about 20-25 points, and reached the final Carling Cup and F.A. Cup finals. Chelsea destroyed me 5-1 in the Carling Cup, whilst a last-minute goal from Aguero was enough to beat me in the F.A. Cup. Rooney ended up as top goal scorer in the league with 33 goals. The board retained me and I started to do a bit more of a clearout. Kuszczak to Portsmouth for £2.8million, Lindegaard to Espanyol for £5.1million, Park to Inter for £9million, and Berbatov to Bayern for £11.6million. Drinkwater, Brady, Couto (academy signing) and Pogba all went out on loan. Brought in Coutinho permanently for £20million, Zhano Ananidze from Spartak Moscow for £11million, Anton Shunin from Dynamo Moscow for £6million, Ross Barkley for £8.5million, and replaced Berba with Bojan from Roma for £22million. Form was bad starting the season off, although I smashed City into the floor in the Community Sheild with a 4-1 win. Bojan, Rooney and Hernandez started well but I soon grew tired and quit. Just started a new campaign with Barcelona. They have an amazing first team but absolutely no depth to the squad. Loaned Ruben Mino out to Almeria for the season, and sold off Keita to Man Utd for £6million. I loaned in Joel Obi from Inter and Aaron Ramsey until the end of the season. Henrique and Hleb were both recalled from their loans. Bought in Markus Henrikson from Rosenborg for £10million, Stevan Jovetic for £29million, Bastian Schweinsteiger for £35.5million, and Thiago Silva for £34million. Started pre-season badly (3-1 win over Atalanta, 0-0 against Swansea, 1-2 loss to Arsenal). Real beat to the Spanish Super Cup. They beat me 2-0 away and then I won 3-1 at the Nou Camp, so they won on away goals. Slow start to the league campaign, with three 1-0 wins on the trot. Then Messi announced his intention to leave. However, with just under 5 years left on his current deal he's going nowhere! Messi starts smashing in goals here, there and everywhere starting with a 2-0 win over Osasuna, an 8-0 demolition of Valencia, a 3-0 win over Atletico, and a 4-0 win over Gijon. Happy so far! Ended my first season with Barca. Made great progress, as did Real, until about January/February when I started to break away from them. Loaned Busquets out to Bayern to keep him happy and sold Mascherano to Man City for £15.5million. Ended up ripping Real apart 3-0 in the Copa Del Ray final, and then two days later I defeated them 1-0 (amazing Thiago Silva solo goal) to clinch the La Liga title. Just done pre-season, beating West Ham, Wolves and Stuttgart. New additions to the squad are - Mario Gotze - £63million from Borussia Dortmund Eden Hazard - £48million from Lille Joel Obi - £10.2million from Inter (loaned last season, he was great so I wanted him permanently) Julio Cesar - £3.6million from Grenada Domenico Criscito - £25.2million from Zenit Sold - Jose Pinto - £170,000 to Real Valladolid Eric Abidal - £5million to Marseille Stevan Jovetic - £16million to Inter (injury prone bastard, ended up scoring 2 goals all season) Alexis Sanchez - £35million to Borussia Dortmund (not yet completed deal) Beat Real 2-0 and 2-1 in the Spanish Super Cup, and I'm awaiting my first game with Sevilla, who've just signed David Silva.

Messi demanded another transfer at the start of the season. The board allowed me to make a decision, and there was no way I'd let him go. I offered him another contract extension which would take him to 7 years, 9 months and worth £620,000 a week. He rejected, but I offered again with increased wages of £720,000. He played one good game, scoring a hat trick against Sociedad, and he signed it. Loving career mode.

I'm into my 3rd season with Newcastle. Is it just me, or does anyone else find it harder defending in the last 10-15 minutes of the game? I'm always conceding late goals, causing me to drop a lot of points. It's as though the CPU just steps up their game right at the end.

Also, if you kill the CPU off early on, they're much more docile and don't go all out on at all, basically leaving you in control. The AI this year is brilliant.

Just started a new one with Man City. Got kinda bored with the Spurs one. Determined to stick to this one.
Bought:
Pepe- £19 million Dani Alves- £26 million Neymar- £65 million
Sold:
Milner- Bayer Leverkusen £9 million Ballotelli- £21 million Napoli Bridge- £1.1 million Taylor- £800,000 Savic- £2.2 million Onuoha- £2 million
Also sold a few youngsters.
Current squad:
Hart Alves Kompany Pepe Clichy
Barry De Jong
Nasri Silva
Neymar Aguero
Bench- Pantimilon K. Toure Richards Y.Toure Dzeko Tevez Johnson
Simmed the friendlies won them all. Lost the community shield 2-1 to Man Utd after a Rooney goal in the last minute. Tevez got that goal
First game against Swansea, Dominated the game hit the woodwork 3 times yet found myself 1-0 down. Pulled it back to 1-1 after a Silva goal.
Next was Bolton. Ended up winning 2-1. Lead through a Pepe header. Bolton evened it up. Then I got a late winner from Dzeko off the bench.
Next was Spurs away. Went 1-0 up through a Neymar goal. They leveled it up through Adebayor. Then they had a good spell and went 3-1 up Adebayor and Parker goals. Luckily I scored twice in the last 5 minutes. Barry and Dzeko again off the bench.
Next up Carling Cup against Hartlepool. Beat them 4-1 Aguero Hat-Trick and Dzeko.
Been lots of big transfers elsewhere. Benzema & Modric to Man Utd, Kaka, Di Maria, Gomez to Chelsea. Pato to Lazio. Sneijder to Barca

Anyone trying any youngsters out from their academy? I've got a lad called Fran Martinez who plays RM. He's currently rated 67 but only just turned 18. Brought him through the academy when he was 16 and he's getting good. I give him a game as often as possible and with Lennon recently being ruled out for 4 months, here's his opportunity. Also got a 16 year old keeper called Theo Mattuschka, he's rated 69 already! Worth £7.5m according to the transfer page. I play him in cup games and less challenging league games. Krul's hard to leave out the team!
